my advice,

Try and avoid arguing with your wife, you probably know her triggers and you've been using it.

you people need to figure out a way to solve issues in person and nothing over the phone.

so far as you're not violent, abusive or enraged during arguments you have nothing to fear. Just avoid using certain inflammatory words and adjusting your tone.
