I think so too justwise: I think the ECM was fair to you by removing the ban because they seems to believe that you did not intentionally submit fake bank statement.
You did not submit any document to disprove the claim that the bank statement is genuine rather you submitted documents to support your good character as a person .
You really got luck with this one. |

Thanks @justwise justwise: Lancashire is a county but there are two universities in that county..university of central lancashire and Lancaster University, Lancaster University is very very good university followed by Hull, Hull has low cost of living but not too many job opportunities, Lancaster will be relatively high in terms of cost of living but student jobs will not be an issue |

Good day @justwise. Please I need your opinion on the below mentioned.
We are currently torn in between Kingston upon Hull and Preston, Lancashire. My wife is going to be schooling (MSc), I intend to do the hustling in order to complement. Plus we have a two-year-old daughter. I am just trying to find a balanced place in terms of jobs and affordable cost of living.
What do you think?
Thanks |

Vetassess scrutiny is across board for all occupations. Most likely not a lot of applicants. DEINDIK: Thank you for responding. I have a Master of Business Administration in Oil and Gas Management and I’ve done a bit of consulting in this area. I’m just curious as to why MC has a high occupation ceiling each year yet less than 10 percent ITA is issued. Could it be that Vetassess is tough with their scrutiny or we don’t have a lot of Management Consultants interested in applying? In any case I’ll give it a shot soon. |

SilaV: Hello good people, Please, I 've got a quick question concerning the points calculator for the skilled immigration.
There is this sentence under the Partner Skills:'Your spouse or de facto partner must also be an applicant for this visa and has competent English.' The part of the statement that states that '.... de facto partner must be an applicant for this visa..' does this mean my spouse needs to do any skill assessment or must apply for the visa alongside with me if I'm given an ITA?
-skill assessment is not a must. However, a positive skill assessment and 6 in all bands for Ielts will give you additional 10 points to your application. Ielts competent without skill assessment is 5 points. Skill assessment without ielts is 0 point.
My wife intends to write the IELTS, and she is within the required age range .Will this be enough to get a 5-point from partner skills?
-6 in all bands is all she needs to add 5 points to your application.
Again, when I used the point calculator, I had 75 points, would that be enough to get an ITA for someone with an occupation assessed by TRA?
-Depends on your occupation and the availability. |

First and foremost, I'd advise that you read through the thread from the page 1. Then ask specific questions later. Secondly, accounting is very competitive now. So, I'd advice you focus more on your husband being the main applicant. That is if he has BSc or MSc in computer science related course. Visit anzscosearch.com/search and look for an occupation that is inline with his experience. Thirdly, if you can afford it, both of you should do assessment with your respective bodies and sit for PTE or IELTS (you need all the points you can get). By the time you're done with these you'll definitely know what to do next. completed: I am a chartered accountant with more than five years of experience both in the multinational and local organisations with a family of 3. Bsc in accounting and Msc in forensic accounting. My husband is a computer scientist with 10 years of experience. We are in our 30s and planning of relocating to Australia. Please my good people how do I begin the process. Thanks and God bless you all. |

I may be wrong now, but the last time I checked their website they will accept scanned copy of transcript sent directly from your school official Email address because of the pandemic. What I dont know is how that will influence priority processing Also, you can lodge your application as soon as you upload all required documents. In my case, my school doesn't release transcripts to students so I attached the request letter as my transcript. I didn't even wait for my school to dispatch before I submit my application. If you have a student copy, use it. You'll get Ref number when you submit the application. That's what you'll give to your school. No knowledge about your self-employment question. toayojj: Good morning House
very insightful contributions. However, the question below wasn't responded to and in addition........at what point are you supposed to lodge an application?
- is it when you have successfully tracked your transcript to VETASSESS? - or you can lodge, when you are sure your sch has dispatched? Besides, is there anything like assessment ref number - we are to provide the sch dispatching the transcript/award certificate, apart from the courier address?
Like - how are they supposed to link the transcript to you?
NIGERIA A verified copy of the award certificate and full academic transcript must be sent in a sealed envelope from the awarding body directly to VETASSESS.
For Priority Processing, the verified documentation must have reached VETASSESS by registered courier mail at the time you lodge your application.
I'm asking because I consider using priority process.
Also, for those who had/have self employment, as part of their documents, which documents are you to Notarize along with your declaration statement?
Thanks in anticipation of your response(s) and/or guide. |

MSc is a highly qualification than BSc, so it doesn't matter what University. What they required for a Skill Level 1 occupation is BSc or equivalent or higher qualifications. In this case, your MSc is higher. How do I know where my both universities fall into? -I don't know them by heart. I'd advise you'll go through the thread. It was discussed a while ago. NT does not require job offer for your occupation. NSW on the other hand requires either a job offer or 5 year work experience. Canadahome: I am sorry if I am asking to many questions.
In respect to the above quote, how do I know where my both universities fall into? Tier 1?
Bsc in Public Administration (4years) from Ebonyi state university.
Msc in HRM (2years) from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.
In addition, I noticed that in NT and NSW one need a job offer to stand a chance for nomination under 491. Correct me if I am wrong please. Is there anyone who has been nominated under Human Resource Advisor (491). Please, help a brother. |

@tunlex01 I need a clarification on @omoluabiade last question. If HND alone is enough for assessment for occupation under Skill Level 2 without including ND, shouldn't the same apply for MSc and BSc? @omoluabiade, if you're not going to provide transcript and certificate for a degree, don't include them on the application. Just to add, even if you include them on the application from onset, you can always send a mail/instruction to Vetassess not to assess that particular degree. omoluabiade: Okay. Thanks for this. Is it possible to include a degree without assessing it? Or is VETASSESS only to assess qualification against work experience? Is it so possible to assess just the highest qualification (MSc)? |

Anzscosearch.com/search Find an occupation that is closely related to any of the below mentioned. Also, these Occupations are Skill Level 1, your BSc have to be from a Tier 1 university or 5 years program. If not, unless you find an occupation under skill level 2, I'm afraid you'll have to look for other alternatives. gladysene89: Dear All (Gurus)

You did your research really well and right on the 6 in a bands for partner points. Proof of Funds is not a requirement for all states. In most cases, they'll ask you to declare. When you get to that point, I'm sure you'll get all the guidance needed. Good luck with your Canada process. Canadahome: Thank you so much for taking out time to answer my questions.
From what I read, I could add extra 5 points if I am married and my partner makes up to 6across all bands in Ielts. This would bring my total point to 80. Well, I am planning to get married before the end of the year. I think this 80 is a good point depending on the situation after the pandemic.
I have been on Canada immigration and I am waiting for WES to release my evaluation report. Because of this pandemic, I am trying to have a plan B in case the scores becomes high after the whole crisis.
Since, I stand a good chance, I would have to see how to start my assessment with Vetassess after the lockdown while I observe how things are going on the Canada stuff.
Finally, am I suppose to have money in my account when applying for 491? If yes, how much, please. I didn't see anything like that. |

Well, before the Covid19 outbreak, with 75points you would have been able to apply for nomination with Northern Territory. That's pretty much the situation with your occupation/projected point. However, these things are subject to change and we are hoping for a more accessible requirements in the New financial year. For couples, maximum of 10points is there for the taking. Read these for further information and requirements. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/skilled-independent-189/points-table for further information. Canadahome: Thanks for this. I am grateful. I was scared that my both schools may not be on the VETASSESS AQF list.
However, can 75 points get me ITA, once I complete my assessment with VETASSESS?
Secondly, will being married be of any advantage in my case?
Thanks. |

Travel › Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by ajayidebo: 7:53pm On Apr 14, 2020 |
ITA not TIA. For 189, all you need to do after assessment and English test is to complete the EOI ("general pool" and wait for ITA. It's not attached to any state. The reason why you have to apply via each states for 190 and 491 after completing EOI is because you need them to award you 5 & 15 points respectively. Until that's approved by the state, you can't receive ITA. I hope my explanation is clear enough. omoluabiade: Smiles. Thanks. It seems 190 and 491 are state/region nomination, what about 189? After assessment, is there a general pool or we have to apply through regions? What the essence of skillselect? Excuse my ignorance TIA |

189, 190 and 491, these are your visa options. If your MSc is before your work experience you should use it for assessment. For your English Test, you should aim for 20 Points (i.e. 8 in all bands) , you need all the points you can get. BTW, I can't seem to find any occupation related to what your hubby does on ANZSCO list. So, English test is enough. His target should be at least 6 in all bands, that will add additional 5 points to your application. VETASSESS is your assessor. Go through their website for further information and requirements. Beyond certificate and transcript, appointment and promotion letters, payslips and what not, with VETASSESS you have to make sure that your job description is in line with their job description of a Geophysicist. Keep up with the trend. Requirements can change any given time. Also, we are hoping that this virus epidemic subsides very soon and for favourable requirements by July. Adesomo24: @ajayidebo. Thanks lot for the advice. I don't have up to 95pts for SA and ACT requires a million and one documents including a job offer from a designated region there + evidence that the role cannot be filled locally. Getting a job from here may be very difficult but i'll try and explore that option. NSW requires 5yrs work experience but I'm hoping this condition changes in stream 2. fingers crossed. I'm not sure what else to do. |

Congratulations on your positive assessment. What you should do now is go through the requirements of each state for your occupation. You have to apply directly via their website. Also, If you have more than one state where you meet their requirements, you should create separate EOI for the application. At the moment some state offering nomination for your occupation stopped receiving nomination for offshore applicants. So, you might want to keep up to date with further developments. You can apply with SA on 491 if your points are up to 95. ACT is also another option. Adesomo24: Thank you @ Bellong. I received a positive assessment. I've gone ahead to submit my EOI on Skillselect but i'm not sure what to do after this. Am i supposed to wait for an invite or do i indicate interest in the regions? My occupation is only available on 190 and 481 |
