Just seeing this. You can reach out to me via mail through nairaland. But I must advice you to stay away from Bulgaria. They denied everyone I know that applied for student visa.

That you applied for Visa and present all the necessary documentation to support the application is not guarantee that the visa will be approved.

All the documents you listed are required for visa application

The translation and the legalizaion of these ducments are needed by the school in Bulgaria for them to be able to process your admission

Being a bsc program the originals of your documents are also needed for one documentation that i cannot remember the name right now

You will also need to do a letter of authorization for someone in Bulgaria to help you with the document

Bulgaria documentations is not for the feint of heart
It will also cost you as well

Hello, please I'm currently applying for Bulgaria study visa....buh now i wan to ask please but first, the listed documents below are what i have. ( going for BSC )

Waec
Testimonial
Transcript
Birth certificate ( government birth certificate )
Police character certificate
Medical insurance certificate ( with €30k cover )
Eligibility letter from ministry of education ( i don't know if i need it or not )

Already gone to Education and foreign affairs to legalize all the mentioned documents.

Now my question is....do i need to take all of these mentioned documents to Bulgaria embassy for legalization ? ( they said each documents cost €20...i went to the embassy yesterday but they didn't allow me in cause i didn't book an appointment before coming )

2.....if I'm not required to take all of them to Bulgaria embassy, can you please list the ones am to go with please? ( based on the documents i listed)

3.......Am i to translate all the documents before taking them to Bulgaria embassy for legalization ?

4......if am not to translate them all, what and what documents do i need to translate and send to my school so they can release my admission letter based on the documents i mentioned earlier ( i already paid €500 here in nigeria as part of my tuition feee to my school though because I'm applying through an agency )

5........Also this notary stamp, do i need it ? I'm asking because my school ( EPU ) didn't request for it and also i didn't see it there in Bulgaria study visa requirements

Lastly for now......please where can i translate my documents here in abuja please......and what documents do i need to translate. ( if you know any reputable agent or company i can use please kindly tell me please )

Thanks in advance for replying.

The picture i included is the visa requirements and legalization information i saw there in Bulgaria embassy so i snapped em.

Congratulations once again. If you have to sell your family land, do it. You don't want to apply alone, trust me.

Don't bother yourself about jobs. Australia have enough opportunities to go round. Focus on submitting your applications and getting your grants.

Saynoomore:

Thanks bro!

I've received the nomination mail now, and have been given 2 months to apply! I least expected they'd nominate me so fast. In fact, I'm yet to raise the money for a family of 5. The money is quite huge grin. My questions are:

1. Can I apply alone for the 190 subclass, and later apply for spouse and kids?

2. What are job prospects in SA ? How easy is it to find any job to get-by (while white-collar jobs are desirable, I'm not insisting on white-collar job. I'm okay with any job just to get busy, such as a blue-collar job until one finds a white-collar job). I tried going online to search for this information and read a lady's comments complaining about the difficulties involved in getting a job in SA. Her comments got me scared! undecided

3. How easy is it to settle in SA.

You're very fortunate. Some people/family had to forgo the crazy visa application fee for 190/189 ITA.

Please ignore the 491 and go ahead with your 190 application. There's no disqualification whatsoever.

Congratulations to you!

Hi Folks,

Please I just received pre-invite from SA 190 today
Meanwhile I already paid for 491 NSW RDA application (AUD 800) two days ago. Can I still go ahead and apply for SA since its for 190? will it disqualify me as double entry @ DHA if both selects my application? undecided

@lookingfly

You are right on your research findings.

In your case, I would have used the Federal High Court for the notary, Certified the notarized document at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja, then take the document of the Australian Embassy for the final legalization. When dealing with Embassies or Foreign Institutions, it is better to use Federal establishments for your notary and what not.

It is sad what happened, you will have to go back to the drawing board. Most of the agents are usually not competent. Agent Jack of all countries study routes/migration, master of none.

Don't bother about your resumption. The major thing is getting that visa.

Usually you get to process family reunification after you've spent six months in Bulgaria. But that has changed. You'll need five important things for your application to be approved.
1. A stable job in Bulgaria,
2. balance of at least 6k Euros in your account,
3. 1 year resident permit,
4. an apartment to house yourself and dependent (s)
5. and a lawyer here in Bulgaria for easy processing of documentations.

If you can get all that after 2 months, by all means file your application.

Partner will need work visa or something similar to work. There's no two ways about that. But there's something I think that can be done. I have not seen anyone do it yet, so I'll keep that iadea to myself.

Students are allowed 20 hour per week. This is a public forum, I cannot say more than that. In the past and present, student earn good money

It not necessary to have the skills of a backend/frontend developer etc.. If you have those, you'll definitely see a company that will sponsor your work visa from Nigeria, talk less of you being physically available in Bulgaria. That aside, you'll need to be a computer savvy to take opportunities of corporate jobs that are available for English speakers.

Ayodele1959:

I'm very glad for your time spend to attend to peoples questions here ......how long can an applicant stays before he could apply for reunification and does it allow for such partner to work on arrival?.....what are the varieties of nicd jobs available apart from IT as u mentioned in our past convo....whats the least hours permitted for students to work in a week ?? And hope there pays fair enough too??
Travel / Re: STUDY IN BULGARIA by ajayidebo: 6:05pm On Jan 31, 2023
You cannot go with your dependents. Family reunification is how your dependents can join you when you get to Bulgaria.

Chances are high, especially if it's IT related job. I know someone that is working for a company that is ready to sponsor after their MSc.

Ayodele1959:
Hi mr ajayidebo abeg whats the proximity of getting a job as a postgraduate student.....already applied for Sept intake ??
Travel / Re: STUDY IN BULGARIA by ajayidebo: 8:33am On Jan 25, 2023
All the schools in Bulgaria have September intake. Use Google for universities in Bulgaria and take your pick.

If you can afford it VUM offers double degree (plus a UK degree) at an affordable cost. That will be my suggestion.

This information is wrong tho. I live here with my family and we are Non-EU on student visa. There's a family reunification visa for that purpose. Once it's approved here, the rest is easy. They will get the visa D, resident card and what not. It also does not take up to 90 days. As far as work is concern, the spouse is not entitled to automatic work. There are so many options available on getting to work officially anyway such as work visa, civil contract, etc.

Iyfeezone:

@favoured sorry I didn’t respond to your question earlier. So first I will like to asked , is your spouse an EU citizen if yes all you need to do is apply for a spouse visa D which can take up to 90 days timeframe to get the visa. Once you arrive in Bulgaria then you can apply for a family member residency card that allows you to live and work in Bulgaria. In case where both of you are either not EU citizens I don’t it’s possible to come here and live. You can apply for a visitor visa and you will have to return back to Nigeria. To my honest advise is the chances of getting a visitor visa is 5% due to the covid restrictions

Sounds like a good plan, but you should limit your option to just Canada in my opinion. Wishing you all the very best.

Thank you
I intend to go for study (Master) in Bulgaria then later use it to look for work at Canada.

I just need a Country that the cost of living is minimal, their Masters degree acceptable or recognise in Canada.

It's just a stepping stone to move from naija.

They have a lot of English speaking jobs here. With persistent consistency you will get a full time job. They don't pay a lot but you will have enough to pay your bills and save a little if you cut your dress according to your size. Things are cheap here also, and that's a reflection on their salary structure in my opinion.

Teathobi:
Thank you so much for this. Been having doubts with all the comments I have been seeing here. Got my admission letter. Now I can proceed...

BTW, I am looking to study International Business Management, I am also in tech. What do you think my chances of serving here are?
