Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Drop A Word Of Prayer For Mr President(umaru Musa Yar' Adua by Ajengogo(m): 7:20pm On Dec 02, 2009
May Allah grant him quick recovery. I strongly believe that it his worsening health situation that is really affecting the lofty plans this man has for the country. And the opportunists in his cabinet are really taking advantage of that. Once more I beseech Allah to grant Yar'Adua quick recovery (Amen)

Romance / Re: Me? Do The Dishes With You? For What? by Ajengogo(m): 7:20pm On Dec 01, 2009
IgboGirl:

Stupid archaic Men!! Like I stated earlier if you can't do the dishes then refrain from using them simple! Your wife is not your housegirl, she can't cook, clean the house and same time do your damn dishes. What's wrong with easing the housework for your wife? You both have jobs that drain your energies by the time you get home but still she enters kitchen and cook for you so exactly what is wrong with you helping her even if it's just doing the dishes?

I feel sorry for the women that agree to marry some of you. Some of you African/Nigerian men are pathetic, insecure, weak evil men! You would rather see your wife struggle with housework than help her? Useless men! The women that marry you losers and tolerate this rubbish from you men are just as stupid as you all.

This is quite a response full of venom. Meeeeeeeeennnnnn!!!!!!!! stair clear of this IgboGirl oooo. Frankly speaking, IgboGirl, you don't have to use vulgar words to express ur feelings or convey ur message. I believe it's a joke taken too far!!!! And I don't mind spanking ur ass for that!!!! (just kidding) smiley smiley smiley

It's a pity that most of us have lost cognisance of what truely defines a typical Nigerian/African essence. The essence of Africa was never and will never be based on fantasy which is the hallmark of typical western world and their apologists. They fantasize just about anything u can think of in the name of civilization to the extent that even age-long, natural and un-questioned judgements have been turned up-side down. Such as (wo)man getting married to (wo)man, child adoption, pornography, etc. All these so called civilized practices are condemnable in our traditional Nigerian/African society.

I am very sure they easily got to this level of "civilization" as a result of men/women compromising their traditional roles in the society such as men doing what the poster said (I don't even want to mention it) or women usurping the role of men in the name of gender equality or whatever. Let us stick to our traditional roles and surely our society will be the envy of all. Thank you

I am very sure Abalti would be licking his wound by now. Abalti may choose to write an editorial on any topic, but then it has to be one that he has complete knowledge of. As far as I am concerned, he has misfired here. He should be advised to focus his creative writing talents on topics that will earn him more respects in his field. Chi kena!!!!!

Business / Re: My Friend At GTBank Took 80,000 Naira From My Account by Ajengogo(m): 12:36pm On Apr 16, 2009
Nairalanders should not allow themselves to be led by the nose by an ignorant poster ooooo. With what instrument did the so called friend make the withdrawal from the so called account? I am not a GTB staffer, anyway. I know that reconciliations are done at the close of work daily. If, at all, there was such anomaly, it would have been dectected immediately and corrected without the knowledge of the account holder.

I really feel that the poster is out to make a mockery of GTB's system or he is completely ignorant of the operations of the present day banking

Jobs/Vacancies / Outcome Of Mobil It Trainee Test by Ajengogo(m): 12:18pm On Dec 06, 2007
What does mobil think about itself? After inviting us for the test, they now turned those of us that do not have IT certifications back without writing the test. They shld have reviewed our credentials b/4 inviting us. Anyway that is mobil's headache. As for me I am not going to mobil cap in hand begging for job. I have a very good job by the special grace of God.

As for certification, if I could graduate in flying colours in my B. Sc. what is certification. Mobil should just give me some months. I will upload my cv with quality certifications that will even intimidate mobil's group md. That is my promise.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: World Bank Test by Ajengogo(m): 12:49pm On Nov 15, 2007
Hi Jeniks,

I dont have an answer to your question. But what I will advise you is that you go into the test with utmost confidence and faith in God. Prof. Charles Soludo did this and got the job, Ngozi Iweala also did it and go it, as well as a host of other Nigerians who are still there. Go there with confidence and be a star that you are meant to be. That is my charge to you. All the best

Career / Re: Save My Soul (sms) by Ajengogo(m): 9:29am On Oct 25, 2007
O boy, with this kind of english, how do you write job tests and attend interviews. Even if one has to secure a place for you based on "connection", what is the guarantee that you will not disgrace that person with this kind of english you are speaking.

I am saying this because I know a guy who brought his brother-in-law to his place of work for employment based on the fact that he was given a quota for just one person. On the day of the interview, the young man (brother-in-law) suddenly became dumb. He couldn't answer any question posed to him during the interview. LIKELY REASON: He either didn't understand what the interviewers were saying or he was ashamed of uttering a word for fear of been laughed at or whatever.

At the end of the whole story, the young man was eased out of the office. But the guy that brought the "MUGU" was sternly rebuked by his superiors for bringing an illiterate person to be employment in the organisation. As a result, he has now lost the right to produce any candidate for future employment in that organisation

Career / Re: what is the highest paying job in the country? by Ajengogo(m): 3:44pm On Oct 03, 2007
Men, we talking of proffessional job here. is there anything proffessional about being the president of this country? Babalawos like Obasanjo, IBB, etc that "worked" in the presidency can NEVER be refered to as proffessional in the real sense of the word. Unless if you want to refer to them as proffessional babalawos
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Job: Interview How Can A Stammerer Pass? by Ajengogo(m): 12:55pm On Oct 03, 2007
Being a stammerer is not easy. But God knows why. One thing I ahave come to learn about these set of people is that most of them are extremely talented in whatever they choose to do. For instance, those that have defied the odds to go up the academic line are wonderful resaerchers in their various fields. Though they prefer to communicate the results of their research through writing only for the reason that is obvoius. So also we can have seasoned accountants, engineers, etc.

Therefore for an organisation not give them the chance to prove their worth means such organisation doesn't know what it wants.

I am even thinking of starting a campaign or crusade aimed at sensitising reputable organisations to give this group of people a chance. Because they are very intelligent.
