HealthRe: Lagos Doctors Suspend Strike by Ajengogo(m): 1:20pm On Mar 27, 2011
Nonsense comment there by the chairman. As if the doctors would have prevented those that died during thier strike action from dying. He should know that people's life and death are in the hands of the Almighty.

He should stop dancing to the drumbeat of self-seeking politicians like Tinubu. Isn't it curious that this same Tinubu that earlier advocated for the sack of all the striking doctors is now becoming instrumental to the calling off of the strike action. I am just curious ooo.

PoliticsRe: President Jonathan To Appoint Anti-terrorism Chief by Ajengogo(m): 4:53pm On Jan 04, 2011
This Jonathan of a guy is becoming really clueless. And so many nefarious politicians are briskly enjoying the dividend of his cluelessness and naivety.

I am not advocating for his not contesting the forthcoming election. What I strongly expect of him is for him to fast-track his study of the art of good governance so as to compete with the best president the world has ever produced - The Abraham Lincolns, The Ronald Reagans, The Mandelas, The Jomo kenyattas, The Kwame Nkrumahs, etc. I believe he can do that if he is passionate about the future of Nigeria. The opportunity and the enabling environment are there for him to become the best president he can ever be.
PoliticsThe Changing Phases Of A Man's Life - Ojukwu Odumegwu As A Case Study by Ajengogo(op): 8:45am On Dec 23, 2010
Folks check out this picture of the two extremes of Ojukwu's life - when he was young and vibrant and now that he is old and almost shattered. This really confirms the saying: "the world is vanity"

PoliticsRe: Hon. Obahiagbon Again! This Time On Pa Enahoro by Ajengogo(m): 12:48pm On Dec 20, 2010
Seriously speaking, this man likes playing to the gallery with his spoken english. Be it business communication, project writing, proposal writing or even ssce/waec examination for that matter will this kind of word arrangement earn one anything meaningful. I am very sure illiteracy is the order of the day where he comes from. Obviously his indigenous people would have long condemned him to a psychiatric hospital if he were to speak his native dialect in this moddled-up, unco-ordinated and concorcted manner.

To cap it all, his dress sense should tell every responsible person the kind of person he is. He is simply an attention seeker, and that is a form of mental disorder!!!! Simple.
CelebritiesCurrent Miss Nigeria Is A Virgin! by Ajengogo(op): 10:16am On Nov 26, 2010
This comment from the current Miss Nigeria, Miss Oluwadamilola Agbajor left me perplexed. Could it be true? It is really a virtue I am looking for in women almost in vain:

How were you received at home after you won?
I called my family members that I was coming home from Abuja and my grant parents came around to the house. When I got home, they screamed, congratulations! They were all really happy for me.

So have you been relieved of doing house chores because you’re now a beauty queen?
Not exactly. I still cook.

And your friends….
They were really happy because it was one of them who told me about the pageant and they called to encourage me throughout. My mum encouraged and prayed for me too.

How did your boyfriend feel about the news?
I don’t have a boyfriend.

Are you a virgin?
Yes.

So how has it been with the men since you won?
Every man I’ve met, I’ve treated with respect.

Car TalkMy Car Engine Shuts Down On Low Speed by Ajengogo(op): 7:22pm On Nov 04, 2010
Hi Nairalanders, I have found out that my car engine starts going off on low speed after some time on the road. Also the light system gets dimmer to the extent that I can hardly wind down/up my glasses.

I recently changed my clutch pad & disk, after which I started noticing the problem. The mechanic guy said it is fuel filter an later said it is ignition and coil. After changing all these, the problem still persists. I need car guru's candid advice.
SportsRe: Remembring Ernest Okonkwo by Ajengogo(m): 5:55pm On Oct 29, 2010
The indefatigueable, quick-witted and grammatical Earnest Okonkwo once bestrode Nigerian football commentary like a colosus. He had a superb style of commentary that could make an itinerant individual cancel his/her itinerary for the duration of Okonkwo's commentary. This is a man who made listening to football commentary more entertaining than watching it. This is a man who has befitting adjective for every player on the field of play. He is in deed a genius per excellence. This is the man who is not more educated than his contemporaries but his deiverables in football commentaries unrivalled.

Whenever Okonkwo was in the commentary box, you would hear names like Emmanuel ‘Man Mountain’ Okala, Aloysius ‘Blockbuster’ Atuegbu, Christian ‘Chairman’ Chukwu, ‘Mathematical’ Segun Odegbami, Kelechi ‘Caterpillar’ Emetole, ‘Midfield Maestro’ Mudashiru Lawal, ‘Justice’ Adokiye Amasiemeka, Uwem ‘Harmattan’ Ekarika, or Sylvanus Quicksilver ‘Okpala, 'Commander’ Louis Igwilo, Sylvester ‘Bahama’ Oparanozie, Benedict ‘Surugede’ Ugwu, Idowu ‘Slow Poison’ Otubusen, ‘Shortish’ John Benson, ‘Diminutive’ Amaechi Otti, Nnamdi ‘Policeman’ Anyafo, Davidson ‘Okada Air’ Owumi, ‘Penalty Specialist’ Christian Madu, ‘Masters of Long Throw’ Moses Otolorin, and ‘The Man with Bullet Shot’ Emmanuel Osigwe

Adieu Ernest Okonkwo, though I wasn't there when you were there; but I have heard alot about you and listened to your recorded football commentaries over and over again. You are quite unique in your career for your generation. Adieu once more!!!!!

PoliticsRe: Lagos Bans Pregnant Women From Riding Okada by Ajengogo(m): 1:12pm On Jun 15, 2010
No responsible person takes okada to any destination unless it is abolutely necessary. So in a situation of necessity what do you want a pregnant woman to do? Trek? No way!!! My prayer is that not until an alternative arrangement is fashioned out, okada transportation will continue to play a very big role in our economy. Banning okada, therefore, is not an intelligent solution. It will rather compound the transportation problem. BRF shd do better than just baning them.
SportsRe: Memo To My Wife On World Cup 2010 by Ajengogo(m): 11:48am On Jun 15, 2010
Women's Reply Memo To Husbands during the World Cup should read like this:

1. Honey, from 11th June 2010 to 11th of July 2010, you sieze to be my "honey"
2. Be informed that I will go in search of a new "honey" within this period. Even though the search may prove tedious, I will remain undaunted, for I know that there are some men (though negligible few) that are not as football crazy as most men
3. If I eventually succeed in my search, then, I doubt if our marriage will ever remain the same again
4. So help me o God. And wishing u happy world cup experience

By the time your husband gets this kind of reply, his passion for the world cup would have drastically diminished. And yours will be attention galore. Hahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaa
FamilyRe: My Old Parents Are Still At War by Ajengogo(m): 5:42pm On May 05, 2010
I just hope your dad has not transfered this agressive tendencies of his to any of you guys. And I hope your dad is really a responsible dad (grand dad) who does not drink or smoke beyond limit. I dont subscribe to the non-sense notion of his being an ex-military man. He is just purely irresponsible even at 50-something. A fool at 40, they say, is a fool for ever. Sorry, I am lost for advice for your dad!!!

U guys shd just cut the crap. Is it a crime not to know Sade Adu. I have never heard of that name myself before. I am very sure those of u castigating that lady for not knowing her are probably from the same geographical setting. If she is so talented and popular as u guys are making us to believe, then list out her remote or immediate awards in the industry.

To Sade Adu, I welcome you. I am beginning to hear about you. I pray u make us proud by ur music and conducts. Cheers!!!!!
BusinessRe: How Can We Combat Fraud In Nigeria? by Ajengogo(m): 6:13pm On Mar 09, 2010
This is a very simple question. Let's look at the question this way: how can you combat fraud in your family? As the head of the family who controls the family's finance, you allocate resources to needed areas of the family. You don't just allocate, you equally minitor the usage of the fund. No fucking family member comes to demand for, for example, N5,000 for a plate of rice when it is common knowledge that a plate costs N500, No family member comes demanding for fund for a piece of furniture when you as the head of the family knows that there is enough furniture for the family.

Bros, if we can extrapolate the simple analogy above to LG, state & Fed Govt businesses with the aid of the existing technology infrasructure (IT in particular), I beleive fraud will be greatly eliminated. That is my candid submission.

PoliticsRe: Aondoakaa And Akunyili Clash Over Yar’Adua by Ajengogo(m): 12:22pm On Feb 09, 2010
That man called aondo(whatever) is as perverse as his name sounds. He is doing as if history of notice-me people is not there for him to read from - the Jerry Ganas, the Nasir El-Rufa'is and other govt establishment guys of yester-years. Does Babangida care about what happens to Jerry today as much as Jerry "cared" for Babangida's govt in those days? Or does Obasanjo care about El-Rufa'i today as much as El-Rufa'i wanted to "die" for Obasanjo's govt just few years ago? Therefore oandononsense should take heed

God has been wonderful in my life this year just like the years gone by. I got married to the woman of my dream, got my first promotion at work, got a rented apartment paid for by myself, good health and what have you!!!!!! Really I am over-blessed. In fact pple that had hitherto not counted me as somebody now regard me so highly. I just pray that God will give me the opportunity and grace to worship Him and be subservient to Him proportionately to what He has done in my life all the days of my life.
