The United Nations will live in infamy for lending its megaphone on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, to Nigeria’s elected military dictator Muhammadu Buhari. The Hausa-Fulani Muslim strongman is currently orchestrating genocide as defined by the Genocide Convention against Nigeria’s 50 million Igbo people because of their ethnicity and unwavering devotion to Christianity. Buhari’s genocide marks the culmination of a long train of Biafran subjugation by radical Hausa-Fulani Islamic terrorists. The dictator’s power is anchored to an illegitimate constitution decreed by a military dictator in 1999 to hold the Christian Biafran people in bondage to Hausa-Fulani Muslims. Nigeria’s constitution has never been approved by Nigerians. Last June, Buhari tacitly endorsed a Hausa-Fulani threat to expel by force and violence and to plunder 11 million Igbos in twelve northern Nigerian states that have adopted Sharia as their legal codes if they did not abandon their Igbo homes and businesses by October 1, 2017. During the past few years in northern Nigeria, Hausa-Fulani terrorists have destroyed thousands of churches and religious schools and displaced millions of Christian Biafrans. Hundreds of innocent civilians have died and more have been injured or terrorized by Nigeria’s military acting under Buhari’s direction in the last week alone. A courageous and influential Biafran leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has had his home attacked and quarantined by Nigeria’s armed forces and his followers killed. Grisly videos and photos taken at scenes of the harrowing crimes are conclusive. What they prove amounts to state terrorism—the systematic employment of violence to intimidate or coerce a civilian population. Instead of providing Buhari a megaphone, the United Nations should be expelling Nigeria from membership under Article 6 of the United Nations Charter. The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) should be referring the dictator and his henchmen like Army Chief of Staff Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai to the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Fatou Bensouda, to investigate for complicity in genocide. The UNSC should also be imposing an arms embargo on Nigeria under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter until the right of the Biafran people to self-determination is secured through a free and fair referendum conducted by the United Nations Electoral Unit. At present, dictator Buhari is diverting arms purchased for ostensible use against Boko Haram, an international terrorist organization, to the terrorizing of Biafran Christians. Buhari has no interest in defeating Boko Haram because its threat triggers military and financial assistance from the United States in its global war on terrorism. These sanctions against Nigeria would honor twin objectives of the United Nations: (1) “to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained;” and, (2) “promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to…religion.” The genocide of Biafrans is not a “domestic” matter within the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigeria. Genocide is a crime against all of mankind which concerns every country. Moreover, if dictator Buhari is permitted to kill and enslave Christian Biafrans with impunity, Nigeria could degenerate into a Hausa-Fulani Islamic theocracy and could become a state sponsor of terrorism. Nigeria’s example would embolden the persecution of Christians elsewhere. Nigeria’s 190 million inhabitants make it the most populous nation in Africa. It is a model not only in West Africa but throughout the continent. It is too important for its fate to be left to the roll of the dice. The international community planted the seeds of contemporary Nigerian and African strife by arbitrarily carving up the continent in favor of colonial powers at the1884-1885 Berlin Conference. The United Nations is saddled with a moral obligation to help remedy the dystopias spawned by many of its key members. While the suffering and persecution of Burma’s Muslim Rohingya have captured headlines and the attention of the United Nations High Commissioner on Human Rights, Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein, Nigeria’s far worse oppression of Biafrans has been largely ignored. It is difficult to resist the conclusion that the international human rights community squints when blacks kill blacks. hopefulLandlord:Can you explain why you think its biased? |
Consider the following scripture: The Fool has said in his heart there is no God. (Psalms 14:1) After reading this with the knowledge you now after birth wouldnt you conclude that the first guy is a FOOL that's how God looking from eternity sees an atheist. |
In a mother’s womb were two babies. One baby asked the other: “Do you believe in life after delivery?” The other replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.” “Nonsense” said the first. “There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?” The second said, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now.” The first replied, “That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.” The second insisted, “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.” The first replied, “Nonsense. And moreover if there is life, then why has no one ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after - delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.” “Well, I don’t know,” said the second, “but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.” The first replied “Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now?” The second said, “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her this world would not and could not exist.” Said the first: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.” To which the second replied, “Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.” The Bible says: "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead ." May this beautiful analogy help someone find Christ. Amen Now what are you waiting for? Go to THE SOURCE and share it on your facebook, twitter and Linked to make it go VIRAL, you may be helping someone have a rethink

prodigy24:you actuall sound like someone afraid election will not hold from everything you have seen around you but desperately trying to see if you can change peoples mind about it. Im neutral, but this Biafran thing has assumed the dimension of a revolution and im afraid your voice can do nothing. Even prominent people are helpless, let alone you who have time on Nairaland I see more youths in other sections of the country rising up to say no election until Nigeria is made to work. Mark my words |
Great nations never developed because of oil but creativity of the individuals. Oil and gas will dry up sooner or later but creativity remains forever. For those who think Igbos need South South because of oil, I want to state category that foresight should teach an average Niger Deltan(if theres anything like that) that oil has a life span and the world is developing a technology that will not depend on oil. When that happens, when natural resources is exhausted guess what we'll fall back on: human resources. Good thing is that Igbos can always boast of enough of human capital. Biafra is not about oil politics as Nigeria is. Igbo man wants to be free, free to develop and carve out their collective destinies while maximizing their potentials |

This people have not learnt that what is happening is a revolution. During a revolution, opinion of touts and seemingly sincere people with purpose count more than those of the wealthy and powerful. I didnt expect them to say other wise-the system is already favouring them to the detriment of million others. Nnamdi Kanu has pressed the right buttons, it will be no time before Nigeria comes collapsing like a pack of cards. I like the way he put it: I will destroy Nigeria with the truth |
I have always loved Northern Christians, sincere and commited. not driven by love of money. May God protect you guys from islamists when the south leaves |
The problem is that people don't study history |
REHEARSED SCRIPT Did you notice the script is just the same with the so called socio cultural group in akwa ibom known as "Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio". We are not part of Biafra but we are not against you. Northern Youths condemned. Someone somewhere wrote that script and another is sponsoring it. Unfortunately, IPOB has gone beyond that stage |
4 POWERFUL FORCES AGAINST NNAMDI KANU By Jude Oguta Well as a revolutionary leader fighting against established norms and traditions, acceptance is the first and most difficult hurdle to cross. Many people including myself the writer don’t agree with some of Nnamdi’s ideas and sayings but what I can’t deny is that he is getting the result many people that went before only dreamt about. Here are the five biggest forces Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB disciples will have to fight (and indeed already fighting) to get to their promised land 1. Political Leaders: This people have the power and resources to bring anyone down and they are so skillful in the game that they have won a following over the years. They fear loosing their influence as a result of a revolution. Therefore maintaining the status quo is their pre-occupation, and will fight tooth and nail to oppose a change-especially that as radical as IPOB. When one hears people like Wike and Dave Umahi distancing themselves from Biafra, it shouldn’t come as a surprise. Politicians live in the realm of protecting self-interest and so expect more politicians to come out to denounce Biafra in the days ahead-they are already benefiting from the present arrangement. This is why in some revolutions, the first to be killed are the ruling class because the masses suddenly realizes(sometimes wrongly) that the ruling class has been the cause of decay in the system. Read about the French Revolution 2. The Western Media: According to Malcom X, “The media's the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that's power. Because they control the minds of the masses.” In Nigeria the West of Yoruba extraction control the media, and unfortunately so for the Biafran agitators. This is because they practice selective reporting- reporting only those stuffs that represents the view of its owner or its sponsor. We are not talking about just the traditional media but also the New Media. If you go to the political section of Nairaland forum for instance, the first statement you will see there is that Nairaland is against secessionist. So its not surprising when they only bring to front page news and topics that support their view and can delete a topic in opposition. Same with Sahara Reporters another Yoruba owned media platform. If you ever watched the Youtube aired Keeping it Real with Adeola discuss Biafra, you will see bias in reporting. How would you explain a case where she used the interview granted a disgruntled girlfriend of Nnamdi Kanu to present the personality of the IPOB leader. You don’t expect your enemy to say anything good about you. 3. The Elites: Like the political leaders, one thing the elite fear most is the sudden awakening of consciousness of an ordinary man. This is because the ordinary man has nothing to loose in a struggle so they fight dirty. One thing you will always see in the news these days is how one group or the other is against IPOB and are not willing to be part of it. Some of those statements are sponsored by politicians and given relevance by the Western Media. Akwa Ibom apex group Nkparawa, Anambra Peoples Assembly (APA) etc opposes Biafra. More hitherto unrecognized group will rise up in days ahead and they will enjoy media attention 4. The Northern Power Brokers: If there is a people Igbos want to separate from fast, it is those of Hausa origin. They have never agreed on anything since the amalgamation ideology was birthed. Apart from the fact that they massacre the Igbos in every slightest provocation, the South Easterners also see them as parasites pulling their aspirations and innovative abilities down with their barbaric beliefs. The North is also interested in the oil produced in the Niger Delta which they will obviously loose if Eastern Nigeria secedes. The South South has always wanted to be on their own but lack the power to fight the Northern political class. Final Notes Nnamdi appears to be a very intelligent guy. Even some stupid things he does seem to be strategically planned as they end up yielding the desired result. From his statements in radio Biafra, to calling Nigeria a zoo and asking for guns to fight them-all geared towards getting the attention and anger of the government. Then he came to Nigeria and was arrested as expected. Many critics believe Buhari played into his game because that single arrest gave him popularity and increased support for him. Even his statements and actions these days is helping him remain relevant in the media. He knows the main stream media will never report his good moves so he keeps appearing controversial. How far will this take him-well let's watch and see Source: http://think2wize..com.ng/2017/06/4-most-powerful-forces-against-nnamdi.html
