Good evening gurus in the house and appreciation to everybody who out of their busy schedule still have time for this topic however I would like to ask some questions!
What is the likely outcome of someone with 65 points and occupation is mechanical engineering.
There is this assumption that mechanical engineering would be removed from sol list next year that is July 1 I guess and if this is true what is the hope of those who have applied for expression of interest? Thank you

That's fraud period. A job "under the table" means you're not paying taxes on what you earn, which is technically illegal. I find it amusing that you're being indignant about committing what essentially amounts to a crime. Secondly, did you tell the VO during your visa interview that you would need to work a job under the table to support your education? Isn't that lying to obtain an immigration benefit - another violation that would normally get your visa voided? You obviously submitted a financial statement claiming you had enough money to support yourself as a student - so basically that was a lie. As a student, you are not allowed to work at all in your first year...

So basically you're a lying, hypocritical, criminal... and you wonder why Nigerians have an extremely difficult time obtaining visas.

Guy calm down with all this your ranting...Not everyone has money to finance his studies so don't criticize him because you have......He wants to achieve his American dream and you don't expect him to sit and wait for ages for him to have complete money before he goes to school especially when dollar seems to be on the rise everyday.
Lets learn to stop criticizing people who are trying to achieve dreams...Even if he is working illegally, he is going to do some hardwork to earn a living which is a lot better than stealing, 419 and defrauding people...You should only advice him of the implications and stop this public slandering

Must it be the end balance or they consider the inflow and outflow from the account.

Has to be the closing Balance...That's what they look at and not inflows and outflows...They closing balance should be minimum of the amount the school asked you to show(tution plus living expenses for one year)....use Google to check exchange rate

I already told you to be sincere and back up with sound reasoning why u switching to Bio engineering but you have still chosen the path of lies..well I wish you the Best of luck]

Chiezzh:

I worked in dad hospital before admission and as an apprentice to an engineer

Then you need to be sincere when feeling your form then....put your work experience in the hospital(hospital name and role) from 2011 till when u got admission
Then put the exact course you studied and exact date u started and finished (2013-2015)...civil engineering and the company you did IT with (All this would show you have not been idle)....tell them you had to work after sec school as u could not gain admission early and u did not want to remain idle..then hospital experience brought about wanting to read a course related to health care u developed passion for...

Then finally if they ask why Bio engineering...you need to explain how you developed a passion in the medical and health care sector from your experience in the hospital...
You say you wanted bio engineering but the gave you civil engineering...and since both are in engineering field but different sectors you would like to focus more on health sector(if they ask why the change from civil to Bio)..then explain how Bio engineering (BME) is the application of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology for healthcare purposes...read very well about the course and how you intend to apply it here in Nigeria to your dad's hospital I presume

Basically the magic key here is going to be how well you sell yourself out and the confidence you show when speaking
NB- there would be some engineering modules that both those in civil and Bio would do am sure
Also read transcripts of people that have been interviewed in this forum on how to answer questions thrown at you properly....and compare it to your past performance which was poor

Biomedical engineering 2013 to 2015 I dint get the 3rd question and only 4 schools

Statement of purpose or personal statement on why u want to study bio engineering
So again another round of questions.
1. What were you sincerely doing from 2011 to 2013 before u got admission
2. What have u been doing since you finished diploma

Happy new month y'all! cheesy. Just a quick tip for those coming in Spring & Fall, edaku embarassedn! when choosing a phone plan, go for affordable ones. Dont get swamped in orientation hype and allow obodo oyibo breeze to go and push you to be paying $50+ monthly as phone bill. You might not feel it in your first or second month, but 3rd month when you start using your tongue to count your teeth you will know how far. God bless slimmy, bigfrancis21 and co that talked about cheaper phone plans like lycamobile, ultramobile, simplemobile some months back. Its better to use these so called cheap plans, as time goes on, you can switch to Verizon & co. Whats the point of $50+ phone bill when you cant call internationally or text intl. My $19 phone bill has unlimited intl text, $1.5 intl credit and very clear domestic call and texts + 40+ free intl calling. Just thought I'd drop this here cuz body don dey tell on people with crazy bills. One love tongue

What network do yu use please

VO: what's your course of study

Me biomedical enginering

VO: what has engineering got to do with biomedical

ME: biomedical is application of enginering principle and design concept for health care purposes
She keeps look at her computer for like20 Seconds

VO why did you finsih secondary school

ME: 2010

VO: What where you doing since then

ME:I got admitted in the first two years inot an institution but did t go because I was not given the course I wanted ...then I appied the 3rd yr and dad persuaded to go ...after 1st semester I cud not continue so I left and started working with dad at his hospital
Dad Taught of flying Me abroad to schol then I applied and got admitted

VO: still checking at the screen then she gave me blue paper ......what is the fault and what will I do....I want to reapply ..pls help me...I did diploma in civil engineering will it contradict it if I add it...pls help me

Why didn't you jus tell the truth of the diploma you mentioned to the group you already had but didn't fill in Ds 160??
Why did you tell Vo that you were a school drop out after just one semester??
From what I can see here...you have no interest in school and you are likely to abandon studies in the USA as well to go and work
