kistehsia As an Akwa Ibomite myself i say u have chosen well. He will treat you with utmost respect and cherish the ground u walk on as we Akwa Ibomites do our women. You wont have to worry about any 419 or odu which is synonymous among other ethnic grps in naija. good luck |

God given right i guess, u really need to be a Nigerian to understand the psyche. We Nigerians mostly dont see a problem with that. I dont ever remember my dad saying pls or thank you when asking and receiving stuff off me. But we just take it like that |

Travel / Re: My Biggest Challenge As A Nigerian Living Abroad by Akan(m): 2:41pm On Apr 22, 2011 |
@ Abali am sorry but u are talking trash. Nobody is generalising here, most of the comments here have been based on personal experiences. Yes we pay bills in the West and reap the benefits thereof like someone has already mentioned. A lot of Nigerian Millionaires will refuse to pay common tax and then blame to govt for bad roads etc |
Politics / Re: Why Can't Igbos Withdraw From The Enemy Territory? by Akan(m): 1:08pm On Apr 22, 2011 |
why would an Igbo man want return to the East, what is actually there for him. Chances are his brother who has been tending their small family land will probably try to kill him for fear that he may have to share it. Like someone earlier mentioned there is not enough space in Igbo land to contain all the Igbo people should they move back home. I think they will probably suffer the most most should the South split from the North |

@ TheBlessed you cannot come here and generalise. In as much as i detest what that "thing" has done to that innocent little girl I will not go about saying that all Akwa Ibomites are bad. We are the friendliest people you can ever meet, but just make sure say u no vex us |
