bsonenterprise: To be extremely candid, the GEJ government CAME CLOSE TO DESTROYING this country with its tacit approval of Endenmic corruption. Haba! This is one person. Now imagine what could be found in the bunker of Allison, Oduah, Reno Omokri, Fani Kayode, Ubah, Okonjo, Chinedu Nedu, Wike, Dokpesi, and the hailers of the popular chants, "he's our son!" GEJ was a complete disaster the Nigerian economy is still reeling from! My brother, the thing tire me ooo. But the simple truth is that GEJ and his cohorts kept Nigeria in this present state of recession. |

You need to see the big odds bet9ja gives an away team in the NPFL, even when its obvious the away team is better than the home team. For instance, MFM vs Enyimba will be like 1.90 &17.8....In the NPFL, the ref MUST help the home team to win except say them swear for them. |

PassingShot: Up PMB!
PMB will go down in the history of Nigeria as the best president ever.
He has demonstrated to be sincere and indeed mean well for the nation.
He has demonstrated to be very shrewd and judicious in applying our meager resources to improve the lot of the common Nigerians.
What he needs is good money and support to deliver the goods because he already has it in him. The sincerity of purpose is in him.
Meanwhile, those who wail and curse PMB for the tough times should cast their mind back to the following news of then:
"Over 20 billion dollars unremitted to the Federation account, Nigeria's economy will crumble if nothing is done." ~ Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi
"Whoever wins 2015 will never find it easy. Over 30 trillion is mismanaged, unaccounted for or missing under Jonathan." ~ Prof Charles Soludo http://leadership.ng/news/408685/soludo-fires-okonjoiweala-n30trillion-stolen-watch
"Our reserve is depleted and our savings squandered. Our nation is in trouble." ~ Dr Oby Ezekwesili.
"For seven months, NNPC did not remit any money into federation account. When I called as a sitting governor and major oil producing state, Deziani Alison Madueke refused to take my calls." ~ Godswill Akpabio
"I wanted to save but Jonathan had no political will. That is why we are in crisis, because we squandered our boom." ~ Okonjo Iweala
"Sanusi urged us to save but we state Governors refused to save for the unseen future during the tenure of Goodluck Jonathan, despite warning from economic experts." ~ Peter Obi
Our present economic position is purely as a result of "Cause & Effect". How on God's earth is it so hard for us to understand, the warning signs were there all along. Very interesting piece, especially the landmark quotes. |

Nigerians can protest for all I care, I don't give a bleep. They protest as if they have stone hearts. Just a little tear gas and watch everyone jostle for fresh air, not to talk of when the sound of gunshots rend the airwaves. Protesting from today till eternity does not distort the fact that we Nigerians are not just lilly-livered but are cowards and gullible entities. We protested during Obasanjo's regimes. When Yaradua held sway, some people protested. During Jonathan's era, we protested and now, we go again, yet not even a single change. Nigerian politicians are the same and they pursue the same course which is to perpetually divide us using religion and ethnicity after which they rip us off and feast on our gullibility. They laugh at us when we fight and kill each other because the more divided we are, the more they benefit. They pretend and claim to be affiliated to different political parties but when they meet in secret, their mission becomes uniform. We can keep protesting anyway but I must say that until the youth of this country unite against these heartless politicians irrespective of our religious and ethnic background and take the bull by the horn, things we continue the way they are unabated. |

DarkRebel101: Until their blood irrigates the fields, I'm afraid the ruling class would continue ad infinitum to gull the people with their self-serving devices as is the common practice, without effecting any positive change.
And the people being more concerned about self-preservation than winning back their destiny would, sadly, be hectored into a cave of cowardice by threats of sanction. Case in point: Innocent Ujah Idibia.
The people need to strike fear and terror into the hearts of the [corupt] politicians. Crucify, maim, burn, and KILL them, rather than imprison or let them off the hook whenever any of them is caught putting his/her fingers in the till, or found wanting.
Unfortunately, our religions – especially the 21st century brand of Christianity – have made us soft, weak, ignorant, and STUPID.
Joseph Stalin's chicken analogy in the meeting at Pulitburo seems most apt to decribe how the masses are like putty in the Government's hands.
P.S.: What we need is a Napoleon Bonaparte, not some lily-livered crooner with a million baby mamas. What a way to aptly summarise the problem with our country! I like your spirit and analytical instinct bro. We can be friends. |

Anything outside revolution, is waste of time and energy. Nigeria will never get better until some politicians are brutally eliminated. This isn't the first time Nigerians would be protesting against poor governance. We have to try something different. |
