'The end justifies the means' that speaks volume as touching the issue on ground here. It's a thing of joy tho if after the sleepless night candle burning u gain admission into a university but the sole aim of your admission is to scale through the system and bag a degree hons. The story is not complete if after admission you couldn't finish the programme. To me, the convocation party is just all in all because it's very emotional and worthy to think about with smiles on your face. At that particular moment u remember the 7am lecture rush, the massive assignments and readings, the sleepless night, the garri support and all that. So sure that would be the last time you might get to see some of your colleagues but it's all good.
Rustication is a very common thing in the university system... It's of many ways either by malpractice or cultism or what have you. If after the matriculation party with all the colourful atmospehere, picture upload to the social medias and the fun that entails - it would be sad if rustication comes in

Let me come in from a different angle to address this menance we have here. The fundamental human right of every citizen in Nigeria pointed out the fact that 'Every individual as the right to choose any religion of choice' so it's no fluke that we have different set of people with different religion belief
Enough said on that, it's pathetic tho that we're still battling on this issue. I could remember such a dispute came up the other time and there we have it again. I respect every religion irrespective of the differences because i know someone's faith is at stake. My point and suggestion is that @Ishow and @Ruka15 sorry for the words said i know how u guys feel tho but just over-look for this moment please even for the sake of the festive period (thanks). @kenny i believe u're a very matured mind coming from DE and haven spent some years as once a student like us here. Exams started yesterday officially but the faculty of Education was postponed because the Dean of faculty said he was not okay with time table arrangement for his students

Tick tack the clock ticks... Gradually the clearance exercise is almost over. With this Salah break of a thing that means peeps have to struggle and make sure they are cleared latest on wed. Fine after this the next is matric number and hostel allocation. I've got the link for last year but i bet it's not gonna work this time let's just chill the schl will provide us with the links needed. Hostel! Hostel!! Hostel!!! There shall be max. 4 students in a room and this is compulsory for all first year and final year students. Doing of a tour of hostels while I was around but i bet Azikwe hall dusted it all for the guys and for the girls it has to be Idia hall. It's gonna be a random exercise so luck tells the kind of hostel u gonna fall but all the hostels are soooo much on point Sultan Bello and co. That actually settles dat for hostel accomondation. Matric number format is virtually thesame in all institution present in the country e.g course/year of entry/serial number i.e EEE/12/001 minor adjustment might be when the time comes but this is a pre-knowledge of how it's gonna look like.
To my co DE applicants here, all hope is not lost as the schoo will still paste another list. The prof who cleared me also buttress this fact so let's keep our fingers crossed. When exactly is the million dollar question and hopefully it shall all favour us by His grace.

It was fun through out doing the clearance things. Came across many NL peeps and we all had a tour through the institution yesterday walking across each faculty to zoo and down to fish pond, jaja hospital and almost everywhere including hostels. It was very intresting walking around and meeting many peeps face to face. @prof.em I sight u can't really mention all the names but it was fun galore.
Yeah clearance is gone and the next is matric no and registration proper. The rule is that hostel is compulsory for first year and final year students. Even if u won't stay dere, u must pay the fee.
