On your BB go to settings, networks and connections, mobile hotspot. Tap on configure, confirm the password is the one you used on the laptop by tapping on the eye icon. Make sure frequency is set at 2.4ghz.

Now go to your pc, click on start (if your pc starts with windows tiles skip this), click on the arrow pointing down scroll, find pc settings and click on it. Choose Network then manage connections. Click on your bb hotspot name and click forget. Exit the settings and try to connect again, put in the confirmed password.

did exactly what you proposed bro. still no headway. or could my subscription type be responsible for this? I subscribed for the Airtel 1k for 3G. maybe it doesn't support hotspot with laptop.

before now, I use Airtel 1.5k for 3G and it connects effortlessly. my thought though.

You did not follow the second set of steps I told you to. From the pix you posted I can see that the computer is set to manually connect to the hotspot. If you had clicked forget like I asked you to it would not bring that error. Follow that second set of steps properly.

I can't really tell cus it will be brought down from Abuja to your state, and eventually, your centre. it depends on how many people paid in your state.... if only one person paid, they can't send just one down. so, most times, it takes little above 4 weeks.

however, make sure you pay early....and pay in Union bank for the tab. but pay for.other fees in Keystone. You can contact your centre manager before payment though.

concerning the 'exact' or near exact time of delivery, I'll get in touch with you tomorrow.

I've not got mine though, but I've got friends in my centre who has got theirs.

N.B: your application form is very important, bring along the form with its photocopy.
your local government of origin too,
and other credentials.
