for example toshiba p300-20h windows vista

get a usb mouse and get back to us and then we

mouse synaptic settings. is the touchpad enabled

has it ever work before ? is it not moving at all.
have you done anything else to solve the problem
so we are not repeating the same thing again.

could be you are using a netbook

thanks...the make is BRIAN, model E4129. Windows 7 professional.
The mouse has always worked for over a year now, the tin jst stopped suddenly ni o.

I havent tried any measure at solving the ish since i aint a computer techie.

I also tot of trying out a usb mouse... I will do that anyway. But aside an external mouse, i need my laptop back to life without a 'life support'.

deji2009: check there are no stuck keys. in other words, make sure the keyboard keys are not
pressed down. also check you have not installed any sound software that deter
people from stealing your laptop. there should be an error message indicating that
the laptop is struggling.

none of the above were dtected bro. But any solution for the mouse pad?

PC gurus, I have a Brian laptop recently i discovered it gives a continuous beep sound whenever it's turned on (i have to press some keys-any key- to make the beep stop). Even when it turns on, the mouse pad doesnt work. It freezes....without waking up. Someday, i tried booting in safe mode, i noticed everything worked perfectly....no beep, no mouse pad malfunction. I dunno what could be wrong with it.

Pls help

As we all know that the post utme is around the corner, i would like aspirants to meet here and discuss pressing needs, challlenges.

BlackBerry is resuming the rollout of iPhone and Android apps for its popular BlackBerry Messenger mobile social messaging service. In ablog post, the company said the free BBM apps will start showing up in Google Play, Apple App Store and some Samsung App Stores. In order to make sure all goes smoothly, you'll need to line up for a spot by visiting BBM.comfrom your phone's browser and entering your information. You'll get an email when your turn comes up.If you have already signed up atbbm.comyou should be ableto start using the app immediately.Last month, the company paused the rollout of the apps after an unreleased version of the Android app was posted online. About a million Android users jumped in within seven hours to grab that version, which the company pulled back.In the blog post, the company noted that more than a million people also found a way to"sideload" BBM onto iPhones. In May, the struggling Canadianfirm announced that it would be rolling out BBM, perhaps thecompany's most popular service, to other mobile platforms. It had been exclusive to BlackBerry smartphones. The service features BBM Chat for instant messaging with other users. Additionally, each user has a unique PIN, so you don't have to give out your phone number to use the service - a privacy feature. The company has slashed 4,500 jobs in a last-ditch move to recharge itself. It has so far failed to invigorate its businessdespite unveiling a new smartphone line and software in January. The company is now an acquisition target.

PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday, appealed to the striking Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to “temper anger with patriotism” in the interest of students that have spent almost a semester at home, even ashe commissioned the second phaseof the 500 MW Omotosho Power Station at the southern Senatorial district of Ondo State, 16 days after the 434 MW Geregu Power Station in Kogi State came on stream.Speaking at the maiden convocation ceremony of the Afe Babalola University (ABUAD), Ado Ekiti, and commissioning of the ultra modern school of Engineering of the institution named after the President, Jonathan said ASUU members would have made their points if the strike were meant to call attention of government and thepublic to the academic environments of universities in the country. He said if ABUAD students could spend only three and half years at the university, Nigerians should then appeal to ASUU members to call off their strike action, which, thePresident noted, is “now four-month old.”He said the future of the country should not be sacrificed on the altar of industrial disharmony, saying this could endanger the future of the country.“I want to beg ASUU to reconsider its stand on the current impasse rocking our universities, which has kept students out of the universitiesfor four months. This hardstand, and protracted crisis, could endanger the collective destiny of millions of the future leaders because the future of the country should not be derailed on the altar of industrial dispute.“We pleaded that they should temper anger with patriotism. It would have been a different thing if government had not been listening to their grievances or not ready to honour their agreements. But we have promised that all agreements will be honoured; so, they should reconsider their stand.“If the strike is borne out of genuine intention , I want to believe that ASUU has been able to prove a point by keeping students out of school for four months. And, if it is borne out of other reasons, they stillneed to believe that no sector of theeconomy is operating at its best.“The military, Police and other paramilitary organizations, including all the politicians, are not operating in the best environment; and, if we all go on strike, we will ground the nation. But I promise that we will continue to strive to provide environment that would enhance optimum performances for better future of our nation.
