I couldn't even comprehend his replies to the man. His statement was warped and incomprehensible.

I hate Indians with strong passion. Their workplace discrimination is to much. The hatred alone has moved from just workplace even to their movies and anything that has to do with Indians.
Our government and regulatory agencies are responsible for this mess. Blame custom, immigration, Ministry of Labour, NCDMB for failing to do their jobs.

@ Op, just make sure you know what you are saying and what you want to do. That's a big risk and the chances of succeeding and smiling are 20-30 percent.
Nigeria is a bloody place and only the violent taketh it by force. Your 9 million naira is a small cash that when you end up being kidnapped, you might loose one hand because the 9 million wasn't enough for the kidnappers.

Yeah! But most of them do complain silently. Just that this their social Stratification system (Caste system) does not allow them to complain against their senior ones or those who belong to the higher class.

The Indians don't know a jack man. They are only good at doctoring and forging.
The reason why people prefer to recruit Indians over nigerias is because of loyalty and respect for contract binding. Once you bring in a Nigerian man to come work for you, the next minutes he starts looking for another job with a bigger pay than what you both agreed, not even minding the length of service he has rendered, he will leave you for the new job and get you stranded but if you recruit an Indian man,n provided you meet your own side of the contract, he will fulfill his own and work for you inline with the binding contract.
The Indians are more corrupt than Nigerians, most of them forge certificates and documents and thrive on lies.
The usual saying that they "indians" are better and effective managers na pure lies

If the road from A to B is a straight line, an Indian man will take different Ziz-Zag routes from A to get to B thereby incurring wastage, loss oftime,material, and human resources .
Reason why ignorant people see them as effective managers is because of poor welfare and salary system for their workers which people see it as cost saving which is wrong. They do this because they can't manage plant/production effectively thereby leading to losses, so they use poor welfare provision for workers to augment or compliment.

I did interview with them at their APAPA office for HSE supervisory role. I am yet to hear from them. I sent them a follow up mail to know my status, no reply yet. Just check application status on their website and it is showing "In process"

DPR pays better than subsidiaries of NNPC and Federal Ministry of petroleum resources. Though their pay is far lesser than most IOC coys (Production and some servicing coys".
The simple reason why people throng after DPR is simply because of job security and also less work. They don't do anything other than to collect money fraudulently and sign permit without proper assessment.
If you have job where you earn 350 to 450k, and you have your plans sketched out, you need not panic. As a GT, your first year salary should not be more than 250-300k per month and after tax deduction, your money will fall short drastically. And also you are entitled to your yearly upfront that is above 1 million which private coys and other IOCS replicate too. DPR working condition is far better than all these Lagos FMCG coys that you will work and kill yourself like bingo.

I experienced same during my appendicectomy. In my own case the muscle relaxant and the anaesthetic didn't work. I could feel the pain that came with the incision. I started fighting and they had to hold me down tightly, they increased the dosage, it still did not work. Finally, the surgery ended and I was in great pains.

DPR will surely conduct Interview. There is standard they will have to adhere to. NNPC did same in 2012, DPR did same during the time of ERAProserve. So they will still conduct interview.

Stories! Don't go and shoot yourself oh! If you have experience and skills, just do a little research about their pay then add ur own and call a figure for them. No need for ranges. If u give them ranges, they will always take the least. And when you say the company has a structure or a system so you will go with their own pay, they can decide to pay you the smallest of their ranges in their system.
I recently got a job, but during the interview, i was asked of the salary and was beating about the bush like mouse until they finally forced me to name a figure which I stated. Only for these guys to call me to resume out of 15 guys that did the interview. Not only that, they changed my reporting station from the one that was closer to my area which I called the salary for to another location that was fking far from my place. Above all, they also indicated in the employment letter that I will be supervising 5 locations that were darn far apart. Though the pay was far higher than my previous place of work oh...Obob for wetin na! I took leave from my place of work and proceeded to the new place of work to test run..mehn! I was always waking up by 3:30am and leaving the house by 4am just to meet up with the resumption time of 7:30am. My guy, I did the job for 3 days nobody tell me say na death warrant be this, I just tendered my resignation letter asap. They called me back and I told them the workload/stress was too much and not measurable with the pay. They asked me what I wanted, I told them salary review and additional worker. Dem just add small thing, I no gree oh, I still resigned and went back to my previous place of work.
The bottomline of the story is, don't shoot yourself, everything is negotiating power with confidence and making them to realized the stern stuff u are made of.
I went for one interview like that, with all my trainings/certs/experience, I called what was obtainable as salary for the position in the company. Only that I added some amount to it. Immediately I mentioned that, the interviewer replied by saying " you mean with all these certs, experience and training/exposure, u called this amount, na na, u no try at all, they all shook their heads in disappointments" , they were like I under-priced myself, for that reason I was not taken. Na one guy wey go call better money dem pick jare. The thing is just know ur worth and that's all.

NLNG applicants have started having their interview after their successful aptitude test. According to their trend, no nobody has disclosed his or her interview questions experience. Every one of dem just keep mute till nw before the interview will be rounded up.Does this means dat every body with him manner of kettle?. Lol
Lol the questions were easy na.... imagine them asking differences between MCB and isolator, measures to take in acid n water mixture. fire extinguishers questions. Difference between lead and cadium batteries.
Na three sects, elect/mech/chemical_petroleum engineering
Even me wey no belong to any of these engineering group know say if dem ask me question from any of these 3 I go still try well. If you are going for anything operation/process just limit ur scope to basic physics, chemistry, Safety, pumps,valves and compressors, and then small brush up.
So far, al my guys have interacted with are very happy and have termed the interview as the simplest interview ever. Just six questions. Today is for mechanical$

Oga forget jare, u know how many tests wey we don write together and wey we don pass? I know they are good. Those guys are even working in IOCs servicing coys, just that they wanna move to production coys or a federal govt regulatory agency. The only problem is usually the age Thang. I just de vex say NLNG no call me because of age. If it was interview thing, I will say something else and not aptitude test.

If you are talking to us that we seriously believe in what he said, let me remind u; there is a day that he came here and specifically say that, Guys should get ready for d update message and in that very day people have received sms/e-mail message. Believe me or not, this Guy has a very strong and reliable insider.
It's a pure lie, I checked his posts and it was not even closed. That time people were already speculating for interview invite and he also said interview invite too, only for people to get UPDATE mail too. And later on he too got an update mail. Nobody has been able to give accurate info here. He came here again and said text has been sent to 3000 persons and another person came here and mentioned 3500 persons and he immediately concurred. Meanwhile 3500 persons and 700 is something that we had known even before the aptitude test. So, that's why I will still say nobody has been able to post accurate information here. Some people have said that even those whose portals were closed will still be called for the interview, and again he comes here to say additional people will be called in the engineering group, all because he wants to stay relevant.
When you talk about accurate info, accurate and specific info is what transpired in the NLNG group, someone mentioned when people will be invited for aptitude test, when people will be invited for interview, and another posted likely questions for the interview. That's how you know those with reliable info. They post once and it just happen. And not you posting here and there, just countering yourselves.

NAPE is just an association like SPE not a regulator, so NAPE" holding her yearly convention does not have any influence on DPR's modus operandi which is the usual government working style.
When DPR is ready to go on with the recruitment process, they will alert people.

At least we have heard and seen how Snapnet conducted recruitment exercises for other agencies employing the same tactics they are using now for DPR's own. So everybody should keep his or her own speculation and "from a reliable source " to himself/herself.
