Lol that was why we were preinformed before hand in the invite letter. Since you already know that this saturday is the Skill test day, you are expected to start preparing for it. Unless you wanna tell us that you do not trust yourself or have faith in God for you to be called.

You should learn to take risk. If you dont take risk, you can never take a big step which can lead to quantum growth. Miss your training day and go for your interview and come back the following day. Meanwhile you should try and take permission before hand. Tell them you will not be available on the said date. Put it in such a way that you are not begging, in way that your mind is made up for that day.
Dear sir,
I wish to inform you that i will not be available on so so date due to family issues that will need my presence.
This is to inform your esteemed office and hope that it will get your approval.
Yours faithfully,
The person in charge will ask you what issue, make sure it is not on paper, you will now discuss man to man. Oga na NNPC interview and i need to do it. Make i just kukuma complete the process and come back, it is just a day. He will like the fact that you have got balls and u came to meet him one on one .
Another way is to avoid one on one contact and just submit the letter and move. So find away to submit the letter without them seeing u. At least you did an official thing which is notification.

It is their fault..why believe what you are told that may lead to your death. Welding vessels used in lifting products is a dangerous operation. They ought to have their own internal safety system to guarantee them a bit of safety such as visual inspection, opening of valve to see if content will come out, flushing with steam or pressured water, gas testing if they can afford the equipment , fire extinguisher in place.

CareerRe: Man Sacked For Going For FRSC Screening In Lagos After Lying He Was Sick by Akexstinger(m): 1:36pm On Sep 26, 2018
He made a mistake. He shouldn't have used health ground as the reason. Next time he will learn to be political. you have to be political in dealing with companies and management. A simple "Hello Sir, I will not be around on Monday, I need to attend to personal things, I will resume on Tuesday" would have taken care of it. it will put you in the position of the boss and your superior will have no option than to give you the go ahead. If he refuses and you proceed, the worse that can happen is no work no salary or query and not outright sack. you have to be smart with companies and management, else they toss you around and make your life miserable.
Also, always try to have good records with company, there are times i fall ill or sick and i am still working which the management will be aware, I will be on treatment and still be at work. Also dont be a late comer. All these things they take note. so, when you tell them you will not be available for anyday, they will not have any problem with that.

Also in your workplace, don't ever reveal your plans to your colleague no matter the closeness especially in the South West, unless you are a valuable asset to the company. Remember anybody is replaceable.

Same thing happened to me...forget the guy ... He turned down the offer for fear of failing.
I was on a 60k job and got another offer of 176k with other tips ... I took the offer and out of fear of failing or not wanting people to see my shortcomings and some distance issue, I reeigned using the distance issh as a cover up and went back to my quagmire job where there was comfort and i was like a king.... but my eyes clear after a month... e be like say na village people do me, i come de regret.
I began to query myself and probe myself concerning the transformations in my life n orientation. Then i started watching Jay Shetty videos, Browns videos and other top notch foreign motovational videos .
Lo and behold within 8 months, another good offer came with big position n authority. The fear of failing was about crippling in with different excuses of " is the job secure? Hope there is no stress there? Is the salary regular? Are you sure you will succeed there"
Na once i caution the spirit, hey stop am if na play oh...if i like make i fail. I must accept this offer.

I told the company to give me 1 month notice that i wanted to go for my professional certification, the new company said anytime you are ready to resume. I went for my professional certification and came back with full confidence and resumed the new offer.

RomanceRe: What Made You Lose Interest In Someone You Were Wooing? by Akexstinger(m): 5:16pm On Sep 07, 2018
She saw my picture again on Facebook and sent me a friend request , and from there we started dating. I was still in school when this happened while she was outside the country. So you can imagine how I was feeling like "oh men my gf de outside the country".
I never asked her for money then because of my pride so, she was the one sending. After school n service, I got one job in a ghetto place , so I had no option than to move to the ghetto place while she was still outside the country. Then one night we did moment of truth, I told how much I was being paid and she told me hers.
Then last year she came down and I went to her place to bring her to my place.. we had good time, strolled round Lagos n shopping. She slept in my ghetto house. When she went back to her place , she called me and said she loved everything she saw including my ghetto apartment but told me to get another job that will take me to highbrow areas inside Lagos. I told her madam na this small salary wey i de get now de make me be man oh, until I get a better job I will not kill myself .
While still in naija , she started acting funny, not picking my calls and she was active on whatsapp . I did the calling so many times and no response. I got angry and with my pride i sent her a text message that she could suit herself and I will move on with my life. I deleted her from my Facebook n she blocked me on her whatsapp. I left her on my Instagram so that she will observe that I am having a happy life. For one year now, no word no comment, no call. Just some months ago, I got another job with a bigger position in the Same ghetto area with salary twice and half my former salary which is now even higher than what she earns outside the country. I was shocked and surprised to see her as one of the viewers of my whatsapp status picture one Sunday morning (a day to my resumption of my new appointment ). I ignored it. Now I have gotten sweeter bebe

She must have a good dress sense.. not putting on all those common skirts that look like rubber that can stretch or expand.
I don't joke with beauty. I don't mind whether she's got boobs etc or not.
Average height.
The hair and her shoes...no colour riot hair. Most times you know a girl's dress sense by the shoes she's putting on.
I like fair girls but I can still make do with not too dark girls.
FamilyRe: How Can I Ask A Friend To Leave My House In A Good Way? by Akexstinger(m): 11:05pm On Aug 09, 2018
Please don't ask him to leave....don't create enmity or create any memory in him that you drove him out in his trying times. He will never forget that.
I have been in this situation before....I came to stay with my good friend and was forming good boy sweeping the living room and washing the dishes...though i came for a purpose, after finishing what I came for, he asked me to stay with him that the house was kinda quiet and not lively, I agreed based on normal guy wey i be too, trying to find a place and look for better job. Just after 3 days, his countenance changed , I already knew something was up , as I was packing my things, he told me to leave. I told him no problem. As I was packing my stuffs, a text message entered my phone. Lo and behold it was an interview invite for a job in another state. I told him about it, and he gave me money, I travelled immediately to the company and passed a night with a friend. The following day we were 10 that came for the interview. The interviewers were up to 8. When it got to my turn, questions from different angles were coming in, then the CEO said something " I need this boy to work for my company. HR , please pen down his name and finalize with him" . The one that shocked me was " we will give you apartment "...And since then I have moved on. My friend is a good guy, a nice guy. We talk always as if nothing happened between us but the memory is always there. If people come to stay with Me, I always picture their situation with the situation I was facing back then.
If you are going broke, just open up to him that you are going broke and he should also augment. He will understand and can make calls to people to send him money . He will surely restock the food store.

FamilyRe: My Husband's Pride Wants To Ruin Our Home by Akexstinger(m): 3:20am On Jul 15, 2018
So many things you are not telling us. You are painting it as if your hubby refused to make input in the building.
To me, i will fault you in the beginning, you betrayed his trust. You both had an agreement because his dad was seriously sick and needed to be flown outside the country for treatment. So he used part of the money for treatment and you used yours to purchase the land. On a normal day, since you both agreed on what to do with the money, you should have purchased the land using your name and your husband's name. And to prove that your husband is a good man, all through the years he never for once asked for documents or asked you whose name is on the document. You can imagine the level of trust he had in you.
You bought the land and he did contributed financially and physically to the erection and finishing of that building and still didn't ask you for the document until the night when he, like every other Nigerian husband threaten their wife just to show "I am in charge " and you surprised him with "this is my house"
Your marriage is crucial, your husband is a good man and you have confirmed that already. He has pride and I don't see how you two can live peacefully again with this grave damage. I don't think he can ever trust you wholeheartedly without suspecting you. That's why communication is always important. If you had told him right from the beginning " honey, since it's my money, I will buy the land in my name or our name " , you would have known his reaction or stance.
The only solution is strictly business, change the owner to the the kids and if he doesn't want that, you people have to sit and calculate percentage contribution from you n him, then tell him to settle you and you transfer the document to him in his own name or you move on with the mindset that you can't have him back.

CEO cares about there workers and more importantly about the performance of their organization which is why i will sack any mentally insecure worker before he ruin the reputation of what i built with my bone and blood

Black man problems can't be solve/cure because of entitlement seeking specie like you...........

fools do first what the wise do last........
Inferior to who? You are just exhibiting the typical NIGERIANISM that we Nigerians are known for. You don't want to show performance but wants to be entitled. Self entitlement is the reason why we still in this quagmire. HNDs/Techs/B.Sc/Engrs/Doctors/BAs can't come up with solutions to the problems eroding the system. You are here telling us about disparities and how you can't be a CEO because you don't and can never think like one. CEOs care about their returns and a lasting brand. Only those who can make meaningful impacts are needed on board and not those who feel because they have HNDS, BSC and can't even come up with practical solutions to problems ravaging them

The nurses in question have been to the university and spent 5 years studying. You spend 6 years for MBBS, pharmacists spend 5 years - here you are hurting that nurses are given internship. Doctor, direct your anger appropriately at the government that is not treating health care workers as many other countries' government do. Stop hating, allow others to hrow in their own field and don't feel because you are a doctor non doctors should be your slaves

Every Nigerians have entitlement mentality...........and i wonder its origin. perhaps, one can link it to our political atmosphere.

just check the agitation for HND/Bsc equality too......Same reasoning everywhere

In my work place, everyone with HND are always running one program or the other just to be at per with their Bsc counterpart but i've always maintain my stand; if i were the CEO, i would sack.............all of them
That's why you cannot be a CEO. CEOs do not reason the way you just did. CEOs care about numbers, their ROIs and the importance of your inputs towards ensuring that they get their returns steadily. That's why, when you see a white man or yellow skin interviewing you, they don't care about your degrees or many certs but your physical and intellectual demonstrations at that time. Naija black man's problems can't be cured

It's not only lack of water that causes it. Some people's body have tendency to form kidney stones at the slightest deviation.
Also untreated STI can also lead to kidney stones. Also when you take too much sugar or carbonated soft drinks and also take too much salts.
So the only way is to reduce your intake of these substances and also stay healthy.

I always tell people that Indians are bad managers. They always compromise at the detriment of people's lives. If you have worked with Indians you will understand. Manufacturer's manual would say replace this part after 6 months but Indians will manage it for one 1 year and the fabricate a replacement part that does not meet a set standard. If it works, they will never purchase the original part. Meanwhile, they will inform the biz owner that they bought original parts from the manufacturer thereby making the owner not to suspect them.
Fly Dana at your own risk. Safety system is still poor in naija if not, all these Indian cheapscake will not be having a roller coaster ride in naija

Might be different when people are scared of losing their huge paychecks , but if you are managing a growing business and you intend to grow it, be nice to employees at your own risk.
Spare us this nonsense. Indians are known all over the world as cheapscake and with no feelings. It's not particular to Nigerians.
We have a lot of Nigerians in the oil sector being controlled by British, Americans, Germans, the French e.t.c and they are excelling well and bringing in Innovative ideas. These coys are still in operations since they came to naija.
Instead of you to admit that you don't like your employees in the first place and you have this mentality of " they will cheat me, if I pay them high they will feel like boss and not work; because that's how Indians think" you are here praising Indians and lebanese as your model.
