Today I was able to login after so many weeks of portal closed...and then later on when I tried it again, it showed portal closed

Everybody claiming " I know for sure", "from a reliable source", "my uncle".. yet nobody has been able to state the exact month let alone day the invites will start rolling out.
One guy in NLNG group predicted/stated theirs and it came at the right time.

Chai! Nigerians! We are to full of ourselves. DPR has not even called anyone for interview yet some people are already throwing in tantrums.
One even went as far as saying that's why we are not even developed, as if developed people or nations lineup for DPR jobs. If you are that creative, intelligent, and brilliant we should be patronizing your products or services by now and not coming here to blame people for your woes or blame them for their actions. Humans are not perfect.
You think those developed nations just became developed overnight ehn, it was a team work thing and also intel spying on people's ideas, counterfeiting and continuous improvement on people's works and ideas.
When your brother gets this job, it's still a plus and you should be happy for him. That's why you see a lot of PTI guys in the oil industry within Naija and outside naija. It's all about sharing information and giving you ideas. We always believe "when it is your time, it is your time". If it is not your time, if dem like make dem reveal the whole questions to you, you will still flop.
For this recruitment, DPR has the final say.

Assuming 100 persons were called for a test and the company needed only 50 people to move to the next stage. If 50 people scored 80% and above because they had access to the questions and the remaining 50 that wrote the first day scored 70% and below, do you think they will call 100 of them? Definitely they will pick the 50 Applicants that got highest score, since they needed only 50 people for the next stage. Stop abusing people ignorantly.

His post was filled with insults. Your assumptions don't always come through. Some people who were more qualified were not even shortlisted for the aptitude test let alone interview. Different coys have different ways of shortlisting and calling people for interviews. Aptitude test is not the same as school exam. There are so many factors that can make someone not to pass an aptitude test either PBT or CBT. Whether some questions were revealed here or not doesn't hold sway. The questions were random.

Some of the people that failed are now regretting why they posted the gmat questions and website the exam came from. Most of them failed because of their overreliggious thinking saying they are rendering help. Is that help in your right senses or exam malpractice.

In the upcoming interview, all successfuls should keep to yourself and don't post any information here not to destroy your chances. When all interview batches conclude, you can then post the questions and interview stories. You are in a competition, stay put and let the best survive and shine.

Oga stop talking like a kid, I guess DPR should be your first aptitude test going by what you have just said.
Whether questions were leaked in this forum or not was not the yardstick for some people not being called. Have you written open-aptitude test before? Why are you sounding like a kid? Besides, DPR has not called anyone for interview yet, so why are you faster than your shadows? Some people wrote the test before me and the questions they revealed didn't come out when I went for mine. so what's the big deal there?
Your portals were opened and you were not communicated via the portal to update your document and you still here saying the portal is the only means of communication!
Whether you like it not, people will still share information as regards interview and that doesn't mean they have passed already. The outcome is either you pass or you fail.

Drivers license will be OK. During the interview,emphasis should be more on your higher institution during " can we meet you?"
Your testimonial is enough. What do you need an affidavit for? For age? When they request for your documents, submit the ones you have. They will know how to sort themselves out, but make sure your age is in line and no discrepancies.
From grapevine, they said you guys will be balling out to UK/aberdeen by January. Success to you all.

FSLC should be to determine your true age range in line with when you finished your school. Anyway, try and get a testimonial from the school. Also make sure you are using international passport as your ID

NLNG...hahahahaha! You call dpr slow. How would you describe the process of the NLNG 2013 recruitment that just got its 1st n 2nd batch resuming last september n october. Yet not all successfuls have resumed.

My advice be hopeful and trust in God. He has plans for everyone.

Pure lies! Stop lying. 4 of my PTI guys resumed since last 3 years and went to UK/aberdeen for 8 months training and came back working fully as Operators with NLNG. I finished from PTI as well. So I know all the oil republicans that were recently recruited.

Almost all the Higher Technical Officers I know of had their portals closed.

DPR is too slow. NLNG that started her own recruitment this June just notified people who didn't pass the aptitude test yesterday evening.

My cousin's girlfriend was already working as a BSN when he landed in America. He settled down big time within 6 months and is doing huge things in Nigeria today.

The few months I worked outside the country in a legit way and had opportunities to interact with professionals, my orientation changed, what I earned after tax no be here. There is nothing that can be compared to living and earning legally as professionals abroad to Living in Nigeria. Nigeria is wacked.

The power of earning good pay in any country is obtaining a professional degree/diploma in that country you are residing. At least it's something I know for sure. I have worked in a foreign country before.

The comparison is so dumb. The fact that you are comparing an undocumented illegal immigrant doing a menial job in US to a Bank Manager shows your mentality is so warped.
Why not compare a legit and graduate Bank Manager in US to a Bank Manager in Nigeria? US registered Nurse to a Naija Registered Nurse.
That's how you people go about deceiving people. Do you know what it means to have security,good standard facilities and good standard of living! That after toiling hard, you are happy to see your kids grow up in an ideal system where they can become great and achieve their dreams?
Schools in US are very expensive but when a naija man gets to US, the first thing he thinks of is to get a certificate/diploma and be able to get a good paying job.
I used to have a guy in warri who was just roasting after his OND and couldn't buy a bicycle let alone a car. He went to US in 2015 and within 6 months, he bought a big car,he has registered for a coding program in the university of how many thousand dollars. And we still de here for naija de hustle 70k 80k, 100k, 500k job in naija without access to good facilities.
Common South Korea here, people are changing jobs like water, living a fastlane life.

The email from DPR is what will finalize everything and not what people are saying.

In 2014, we wrote an aptitude test for an OJT, some were given dragnet opportunity without interview " that was when I knew that the word DRAGNET indirectly connote those who did well and are given some special treats" , some where asked to proceed for interview and some were sent regrets mail. Could you have ever imagined that those who got regret mails were later called again to come for interviews and some were later picked.
So the thing is, everybody should just relax and wait for their respective emails either interview or regret email. The HR department can decide which method they wanna use for the recruitment. I have seen where recruitment portal was closed after aptitude test and the only form of notification and communication was only through email.
Our Over-assumptions and I too know as Nigerians is what has made us and our country to still remain in this quagmire.

I have experienced this type of recruitment the last nnlg bn d most recent.... The people that got mails and sms for update where the ones invited for the test....

Pure lies...stop saying what you don't know. People who didn't receive email in the last NLNG recruitment to forward their birth certs and other....were also invited for the aptitude test.

If you had said you are confident that you will pass the test I wouldn't have any issue with that. But to place so much confidence in mere mortals (gurus as you call them) is a very specious, erroneous and phony conclusion
