President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday in Abuja directed the central command of the military to relocate to Maiduguri, Borno, to intensify the fight against Boko Haram insurgency.

Bro, I agree one can be lucky but you can NEVER be that lucky to have this fast movement picture without a blur at the edge. If you have ever snapped a fast moving object, you must plan for it. Most of the cameras you see around gives you auto focus and it can never give you a cutting edge as you would had on this pix. Save this pix on a desktop and doom wide, you will see that both the "supposed" moving and still objects have same edge sharpness

Again, you can only have a very clear picture of a motion like this without any blur with a very powerful camera with high aperture. Nice write up. But tell me, how do you judge performance? Isnit the volume of money that goes to a department/ministry/agency or the actual effect of the spend? If Nigeria was a company, its already on its way to bankruptcy. The years GEJ handled the Nigeria as a business till now, what profit has come out of it. If placed in a simple Profit and Loss book, you would see that Nigeria has been makimg loss year in year out. The GDP rebasing were not his hand work. The calculation were just done in his regime. The foreign reserve went down more than 50 percent. GEJ is a good man, he only lacked the will power to pull some national shots for a country like Nigeria. God bless the Great Nigeria

The commentator made a grave error by saying that the united states operates a better budgetary system than Nigeria.
If I'm right, the US has a budget of about 3 trillion dollars (about 500 trillion naira) and over 90 percent of the budget is spent on recurrent expenditure. I doubt if the US federal government budgets on capital expenditure.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with the Nigerian budget.

There is something called quantitative easing, its a monetary policy instrument used by government to stimulate the economy.

We have a little farm in the village, we came down on Sunday evening to process cassava and go back with the garri, usually we'll pick a bike to a point and trek the rest of the way.

But yesterday my wife insisted we'll trek from home, and even when coming back the bike can only carry cassava, we will trek back home. I jokingly retorted, " as if you go fit".

One hour latter, we are still tracking, I was like this woman is serious o! What has come over her? U managed to trek to the farm, for the first time since after our marriage.

Time to come back, we carried the cassava from the farm to the road, she stoped a bike and ask the bike man to tie the cassava, I stopped another bike that would carry us, she said no, no need. I ask how, she said we are trekking back home.


I insist I'll pick a bike, she insist she was treking, and started. I could have left her behind, but it is in the village, it will be misinterpreted. Hear someone say "he picked a bike and left his wife behind to trek after him". I was furious.


Back home, tired and angry, I demanded explanation on why she decide to persecute me. I was expecting the usual " to save cost " answer, but no, guess what she responded.

I like these guys courage and I want to continually believe them but to say you want to walk from Uromi to otuoke in two days is not possible. I can place a bet on any amount. The major issue affecting people to involve in snail is DURATION. It takes up to 18 to 24 months for a snail to grow to maturity from the point an egg is layed. Most people aren't ready for that. Most people also believe it's a doll business party and as such, don't want to get along with it. But for me, the best is to have it along your normal farm. Since it doesn't require much attention and cost almost as zero to feed, tlyou can then get it along your normal farm activities before you even notice. Before you known it, it's a year, two, three or more

I dont somuch think your assumption is correct.

A grown up snail sells more than 200 per one.

If you go to restaurants and other common places you will realize average price is high.

Selling on volume is key and you will definitely sell volume if you even make your price as low as 150.

Now take it this way. You have 4000 you raised in two years which you could easily, check the volume.

Snail farming is not a quick way to make money but a very sure way on the long run

Thanks for your comment, i think expensive is a relative word; some people sell weaners for N2,500 some sell for N8,000 i know of another farm that sells its own for N20,000; pork is sold for N600 in Lagos and in some other places in Lagos it is sold for N1,300; local pigs are sold for N250, some N300 per kg; you have pure water for N5 and table water for N50 ; both thru the same purification process.
Pigs are different from pigs, the quality of meat, the fat level and other factors matters.

We have about 180 weaners off for grabs 80 females and 100 Males, all a mix of

Large white ( Obasanjos breed) + PIC, SA ( www.pic.com) ( PIC 433 and PIC 310 semens). all born from thru Artificial Insemination

My weaners vary in weight from 8kg-15kg of weight, they are between 35days old to 45days old.

Am selling them for N8,000 each , at the ratio of ( 2 females to 1 Male). ( Minimum of 10 females and 5Males)

I will recommend it majorly for those looking for breeders stock

Our farm is based in ilorin, Kwara State; but we have a van that does delivery at a " reasonable fee".

if you buy a minimum of 30 ( 20 females + 10 Males) we will consult for you, give you

feed formula ,pig premix from SA, visit your farm and make recommendations;
and on a monthly basis get an e-mail from us to check on the stock you have bought from us, and how they are doing and advice .

Our first batch will go out on 21st of March; and the last batch will be 5th of April.

We also have some sow we intend to sell off ( majorly for consumption) @ N350 per kg, they are from 150kg-250kg.

We dont allow visitors/ especially pig farmers to our farm because of bio-security.

First of all, statement is not same as certificate. Also, this is a re-issue and no sane person will expect to see the result in format of 1961 as of date. As at the date of this result, there was no Katsina state. The state was just created 1989 or would they expect to see Laguna there? More so, some people with written position don't have there names on signature but by reason of there position, we know them. Eg, Nigerian currency, we know who signed but no name. The Lagos emergency numbers work very well. A colleague of mine called me one night at about 1:30 that there were robbers in her compound. She called me because I am industrial security specialist.
