i was not against asking question . I said you should have asked question rather than giving a counsel that may be damaging to the soul of the individual. The fact that someone picks an offence at an issue does not make the person right. How much info do you have of that church or the pastor. Your counsel may be right if you are equipped with all information about her pastor.

If you're not convinced about  your church activities , it is not wrong to go to a church you feel more comfortable with. But you should be led by God spirit. When I was forced by my own pastor to buy a study bible which cost more money than the normal one we had, it was a faith challenge for some of us. But we are glad in the end . I'm not in your church to justify your pastor but just be led . Thanks.

What kind of counsel is that. You ask a distracted person to continue in distraction just because her pastor ask her to buy a sermon? You should have ask questions rather . How much is the pamphlet . 50nairra or 100? Are they selling it for the money or to ensure members discipline themselves to study it for their growth. My pastor once mandated all of us leaders to get study bible by force. And we were glad because we were careless . We buy shoes and expensive things without investing in our spiritual life. A good pastor is a coach. Pls avoid dangerous counsel. Paul had books he reads and he encourage Timothy to study. They didn't get those books free. We invest in our growth.

When i read articles like this it does not amuse me because i see ignorant in display. i wonder why questions or debate about if Jesus Christ is God or not should he held at all. I tend to answer your question from the stand point to giving you an understanding. you will receive understanding if only you open up your heart to want to know, then will the Holy Spirit cause your understanding to be fruitful.

From the first scripture i gave, it is obvious that Jesus was the God made manifest in the flesh, this God became a human being so we could see him, feel him and understand his ways. He came to redeem us. His earthly name is called Jesus (Matthew 1:18-21). From the bible we know that God is a spirit being (John 4:24), but when he became human (John 1:14) he was called Jesus. Jesus is the exact rRepresentativeof the Father on earth, the imprint character of His being and personality. Now this Jesus the Father has declare and make him master and cChristfor our sake (Acts. 2:36). Jesus is not the Father, but He is God.
God the father wants you to be born of His family, so that you can be not only one created by Him but also born of Him; Having His DNA flowing in your blood. This can be very ppossibleif only can believe in Jesus redemptive work for you on the cross and declaring His Lordship over your life ( Rom. 10:9-10).
