A fatal accident has claimed the lives of four people, including two 400 level students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Lautech, Ogbomosho, Oyo State.

The accident occurred during the early morning downpour, today, along the Old Ilorin Road, Aroje, while the students were driving to school for their farm work.

A corps member and a secondary school student also lost their lives in the crash involving a car and a truck. It was gathered that many other victims are currently battling for their lives.

President Muhammadu Buhari and wife, Aisha, on Saturday, performed Umrah (lesser Hajj) at the Masjid Haram (the Grand Mosque) in Makkah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Buhari who embarked on the journey with close personal aides on Thursday, May 16, 2019, was invited by King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, the ruler of Saudi Arabia and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to perform the Umrah (lesser pilgrimage) in the Kingdom.

A newborn baby has died, minutes after being delivered at a clinic in #Aba, Abia State.

The baby boy was delivered around 3pm on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at God’s own clinic and maternity home, by a mother-of-4, Mrs Ezego.

According to reports, the mom was so terrified that she totally refused to look at him till he died and was taken away. Her husband was, however, grateful to God for the safety of his wife.
