SaiOba: This issue is the more reason why we have insecurity in Nigeria.. The political will to deal decisively with the herders is what the APC political class lack. Every Nigerian has right to leave where he or she pleases. NO-one has any right whatsoever to trespass on another person's property or Land and if you must rear any form of bird, goat, cow or even fish farming.. Get a land, You can rent or buy a land, build a ranch. PERIOD!!! Do your biznez and make your money.. Most people from the SouthEast, go as far as to neighboring states to buy or rent lands that they will farm cassava for a season or two and even more.. This is been practiced by most individuals that are in Garri business. It is NOT hard..
It's just that the political class apply tribe and religion when making laws because they believe some certain tribe or region won't vote for them if they seek reelection.
For the sake of Almighty GOD.. Cows are definitely NOT the citizens of this great country.
Na Sen Babangida make sense pass. He said freedom of movement of people and their property is constitutional right, which not be impeded, however, the criminality behind the herdsmen operation is what should be isolated and addressed.
I agree with him. Herding of cattle in itself is not a problem, but killing people and destroying their farms must not be tolerated under wherever guise.
Interesting15: Marriage is one of God's core strategies to empower us to become all He has destined us to be with great ease. In other words, you are primarily aiming to marry a lady not for sex or childbearing or companionship sake, but the most important thing is that she will play a unique and pivotal role in helping you fulfill destiny (becoming all God has destined you to be) with great ease.
Remember, in Genesis, when God was done shaping a destiny for Adam in the garden of Eden, He planned a wife for him too: And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” Genesis 2:18.
God was also saying, "It is not good that man should try running his race of destiny alone". Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. [10] For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
So, when God said "It is not good that man should try running his race of destiny alone", He brought about an instant solution: "I will make a helper (the job of a helper is to make things easier for you)."
God was saying, "The woman I will give him will help him run the race of destiny to make it easier for him."
All that mattered wasn't about her body or about her curves (or about any physical thing we prioritize today). It was all about the fact that the woman, Eve, has a divine configuration to help Adam fulfill destiny with ease.
Now, it should be noted that if God will trust a man with a correct woman who will help him in his journey to destiny, then that man too must have the capacity to help the woman fulfill destiny.
To attract a correct woman, you must be a correct man too. In the context of our conversations here (about marriage), a correct lady is a lady God has configured to help you fulfill your destiny as your wife.
For a woman to have such a configuration, she must be:
1. Genuinely saved 2. Submitted to the Holy Spirit 3. Have started running with destiny
In my book "Getting A Correct Lady To Say Yes To Your Marriage Proposal", I drew a full portrait of who a correct lady is in full details, and one of the things you will discover is that it has nothing to do with physical features (curves, shapes, height, etc).
Remember, don't jump at just any woman when it comes to choosing a life partner, but make sure the lady you will go for has what it takes to be an adequate helper for your destiny actualization.
But then, to attract a correct woman, you must be a correct man too (have the right configurations to help her fulfill destiny also).
One of my best friends who is expected to get married this year just called me for hours with regards to his plans.
He met this babe 2 years ago and things were going fine. I even know the girl as a nice lady and very homely. I don chop her food, she cooks well. Both of them attend RCCG church. My friend is a casual member while his fiance is a serious member and doesn't miss weekly services.
So my friend to take his relationship more seriously decided to visit his fiancé's family so they know him. Before then, the fiancé had told him that her father is a former Baptist but has stopped being religious and sometimes does traditional practices. On the day of him visiting her home, he was welcomed even bought gifts for the dad and mum. But he said his spirit was very uncomfortable in that house.
There was an standing portrait of the father on white with beads and regalia to show he is Ogboni. Also in the house, there were a few funny looking art works which looks occult. My friend played cool, the father even asked of his church and he told him. The father proudly said he is a traditional man. After the meeting, the next day he asked his girlfriend if her father is an ROF member and she said yes that she told him before that he is a traditional man.
But my friend is showing signs of doubts. He told me he loves the girl, but that he wants nothing to do with anything occultic in this life till he dies. His family may not agree but even if he insist to have his way because of love, he wants to be sure it will not end in regret.
I told him what really matters is the heart of the person he is marrying. My guy said yes but family background matters. Foundation matters, which is true.
House, what do you think?
Yes, he should go on and marry her, so they can use his dumb, empty skull 💀 for their next sacrifice.
Trevor125: Please is abortion a very terrible sin?? Someone daughter is pregnant, but I'm not sure if the pregnancy is mine....🤔🤔🤔🤔😕i have been having sleepless nights.. 😭😭💔

You no try bro! 1k CD would have saved you all this stress!
The deed is done anyways, wish you best as you navigate your way out of this quagmire.
You think you could gaslight people who seek quality/timely service and value for their money, all in the name of “he’s our national carrier/support indigenous carrier”? Nonsense!
Some don’t care so much about the price difference, but more about quality and timeliness. Do you think I’d forgo a 50 million deal because of 1million naira difference?
Business isn’t about emotions, and if AirPeace really wants to compete with others, they must up their game.
Making a sound decision is more than emotions, it’s more than patronising an airline because it’s owned by a fellow countryman.
They accused Aboki FX of being the one behind Naira manipulation back then, they banned him, but it got even worse. Now it’s the turn of Binance and others.
KingintheNorth: Hi Guys. I am posting for a friend who doesn't want to be named but he seriously needs your advice and possible suggestions on this matter.
He is the only son and has a sister , his father is also still alive .the problem is his mother, she keep borrowing money in hundreds of thousands and expecting the son to repay those loans. She wouldn't even inform him before taking loans, he only gets to know about it when the loan sharks come knocking. He has been paying back loans that have run into
millions for the mother for the past 6 years. The painful part is when you ask her what she is using those monies for, she will always say she doesn't know or does not remember. Each time after promising not to take loans anymore ,before you know it she will take another one. The son usually pay her monthly upkeep money so she is not lacking anything.
Right now she is in serious brand new debt and she's running to the son for rescue and he is fed up. He can't abandon the mother and also can't keep paying back loans he doesn't know anything about.
Elzazzi: I will try and make this brief and please ignore the errors.
I was with my close friend yesterday evening. While we were chilling together, a call came in on his phone. it was his cousin that called telling what had happened and also seeking his advice. Now this is what happened, this his cousin has been dating this lady for about a year I think and he has already proposed to her and even took her to his parents and siblings. He also visited the lady family and did some introduction. Now April this year has been chosen for the wedding ceremony proper and a date has been fixed. This is where trouble started.
If your friend is still asking what to do, means he wants to proceed to marry her. It also depends on whether she told him her past or not.
My friend cousin created a WhatsApp group for his wedding ceremony, he added all his friends and some of his classmates to this group so they can join hands and make his wedding day memorable. He posted his wedding IV to the group and some pictures of him and the lady, one of his old time classmate recognized her and immediately called him for a private meeting for urgent discussions.
He visited him the next day and this guy told him everything about his fiancée. How she used to be a stripper in Lagos clubs years back and how he and his friends had wild 3some with her. She used to base in Lagos as a call girl but relocated to Abuja and that’s where she met my friend cousin. After all these revelation this guy was in deep pain as he had already gone far with the weeding preparations. Of course his old time classmate advised him not to marry her, but this guy loves her so much and he is in a big dilemma of what to do next. As he thinking of leaving the country and go start life with her elsewhere.
Can such past truly be overlooked?
After my friend explained everything to me, I was just short of words but of course I advised he shouldn’t marry her. What advice would you give him in such a situation my fellow Nlanders ?
It’s common sense and simple logic! If an App/Fintech would offer me say 1300 Naira to a $, how then would I, as a rational person, go for an option that offers less, say official bank rate of 750 to $?
Why/how for heaven’s sake, will any country be celebrating installation of street lights in 2024! Street lights o!
The psyche of the citizens is so damaged that everyone here seems to be singing her praise. This shows how well the weaponisation of poverty has worked, and still working, in Africa.
We’re not celebrating the launch of autonomous vehicles/trains, maglev trains ftom Calabar to Sokoto or Bayelsa to Zamfara, 50,000 megawatts gas-fired power plant, 10,000 vehicle charging highway…

For some days now I have been on a serious dilemma whether to resign from my federal government job that pays me above N200k for my current position and migrate to the UK or stay in naija and set up a business to augment my salary. I will be 34 years next year, I feel traveling to the uk for studies next year September will delay my chances of getting married, as I have planned not exceeding 34 years without getting married.
I belong to the school of thought that believes can make it in Nigeria despite all odds. However, considering the economic realities of the country, I have recently contemplating of japa and maybe get a Nigerian lady for marriage after my studies.
Please I earnestly need matured advice from you guys to know how to start the coming year.
Couple of years back, I was in this situation - had a job in NG, same age bracket…I chose to travel. Let me add that other than marrying later than I’d have liked, I have no regrets
Let’s hear your beautiful stories on how you proposed to your spouse! This could help someone who’s confused.
We were in the room together, asked her to help grab my toothbrush from the bathroom (I knew it wasn’t there) by the time she came out, I was holding the ring 💍 and asked her to marry me. She said „”what we’re expecting before?” 😀😀
Instead of waiting endlessly for a dialysis machine, wish he had built good quality health facilities in his state and the outcome might have been different.
Smile4mee01: I have been abroad for a while now and i am curious to know why some of our ladies decline dating or marrying fellow Nigerians in the diaspora. I have tried to date a few any they are often quick to assume i am after them for their papers while i just prefer my own, someone who understands my culture and where i have come from. Even when i try to date the ones that don't have paper, regular work visa holders like me. They seem to want to be with the guys that have papers.
The answer is simple: there’s little or no “benefits” they’d gain from one another, for instance, when a guy needs a girl for papers or vice versa, of what good will a Naija girl /boy be?
Also, when i am old, i would like to return to Nigeria. Marrying outside would make that transition very difficult.
I study other races, Immigrant groups from India and Asia. they work together well, and don't have these difficulty.
Should i give up on being with a Nigerian or keep trying ?
RIVERS1stson: This is exactly six after ebonyi airport was commissioned, but shockingly no Nigerian airline has agreed to venture into that route with commercial passengers. Checks revealed that ebonyi airport is an unviable route for airlines, that’s why no airline has tried to land there.
Ebonyi is a state with the poorest indigenes in the southern Nigeria. Poverty rate in ebonyi is over 80%.
Ebonyi has a comparative advantage in rice farming but there’s no major rice mill in the state . Some analysts had proffered that the billions borrowed to build the airport would have been channeled into developing rice mills to create employment for the army of unemployed in ebonyi state.
That colour is enough for airlines and passengers to ditch the airport!
