Politics › Re: Angry South Africans Hand Over List Of Demands To Nigeria's SA Ambassador (PICS) by akintunde63: 2:10pm On Sep 24, 2020 |
YEBOmadiba: Groups of protesters have demanded more stringent immigration laws while marching through South Africa's capital city of Pretoria directing their anger at African immigrants.
Under the banner of #PutSouthAfricansFirst, small groups of people marched from Church Square to the Nigerian Embassy.
They said government has failed to put South Africans first and have called for the mass deportation of illegal immigrants as well as the revoking of grants and other state benefits.
Various organisations including South Africa First and “Only One SA” have handed over a memorandum of demands at the Nigerian Embassy following a march through the Pretoria CBD.
Action for change’s Nandi Gachwari said their demands were clear.
“We demand an end to human trafficking in Pretoria and, broadly, South Africa; the deportation of all illegal immigrants; the exposure of corruption in flawed Home Affairs processes that grant citizenship to undeserving foreign nationals.”
High Commissioner Kabiru Bala said while he accepted the memorandum, it was unfair that only Nigerians should be blamed for South Africa’s social and economic ills.
The organisations vowed to return to the streets if their demands were not met.
https://ewn.co.za/2020/09/23/unfair-that-nigerians-blamed-for-sa-s-social-ills-says-high-commissioner-bala Last year it was this same South Africa, later this year it was Ghana, followed by Congo. This worst is yet to come! Our dear country is gradually becoming a laughing stock among the comity of Nations, & there's nothing we could do about it |

My boss dosent like me...I can perceive my colleague see me as incompetent hence I don't have their respect
But then it pay this bills...that's the only motivation for me

I want to resign...
Just thinking out loud Don't quit without a solid plan in place; you could get another job first, or have enough savings, before you resign. |

CTOBY: Hello to all, Please I have a question and would love to get a reply as well as proof to the answer. I have a first cousin in Saskatchewan who is willing to provide information for me to apply under SINP. There is a situation, he has a single (unmarried) brother you wants to enroll or participate in Express entry. He is not eligible for SINP due to occupation in demand and education not related to work experience.
Can my cousin provide information for me as a connection in SINP and at the same time can his brother gets points for EE as well apply for FSW?.
The brothers EE point is quite low even with points from his brother and an extremely good IELTS result. Yes, you can get some points from your cousin under SINP, his brother can enter EE Pool also, and even get some points there, from his bro in Canada |

Politics › Re: Oyo Approves Issuance Of ₦100B Bond For Iseyin-Ogbomoso Road, Ibadan Airport by akintunde63: 6:37pm On Jul 22, 2020 |
techmo:

Audio Makinde
40billion loan from UBA and FirstBank in just a year without anything to show for it... Absolutely nothing innuagurated
Another 100 billion loan in form of bonds with interest
Oyo State Federal Allocation 3 billion , IGR 2.7 billion
I trust PDP people to hail him as usual, after all Ikpeazu also has massive supporters... Ask them simple question of showing any ongoing projects valued at 40 billion they start blabing
*Anyways I like his Tax proposer... All houses are already being captured and stickers placed to identify them for "building tax" you either pay or get your house locked
*All cormercial Drivers and motorcycle riders now pay Makinde Tax daily and Thug Auxillary Levy
*Announcements have being made that all artisans , shop owners, and traders would be served 7 days to pay Tax or face conciquences
when Banks and creditors start deducting 80% of the Allocation, civil servants would understand the calamity about to befall them, when you are made to pay different tax you may think of holding Makinde accountable
. This looks suspicious, because: 1. Ibadan airport is owned by the FG 2. There's no such thing as Ogbomoso-Iseyin Road. There's federal road from Ogbomoso to Oyo, then a state road from Oyo to Iseyin. |

Education › Re: What Course Can Someone With This WAEC Result Study? by akintunde63: 2:17pm On Jun 25, 2020 |
Renerd: What can I study with this result.(pics attached below).
Actually, while in school I know what I was doing, I did take those subject for the purpose of studying medicine, because I love it so I purposely drop anything relating to engineering.
But after my secondary education, I had no opportunity to further my education ( being an orphan), therefore I took to hustling, and after some year, I'm now preparing to further my education. But I discovered that i cannot continue with medicine, due to the nature of my work, I won't be opportune to combine the stress of my job with the demands of studying medicine, so I am thinking of diverting.
But the problem involved is that, my result is only good for medicine, and can't be use for engineering, considering jamb requirements, therefore educationalist in the house, what course do you suggest I go for, with this result apart from medicine. (picture attached below)
Fynestboi, richiez, pls help include in featured post This person can study anything he wants. It's a fine result |

dre11: https://m.guardian.ng/news/wto-dg-president-buharis-tactical-change-and-egypts-ambush/ In the end, politics, be it local or global, is a game of interest. Some say, in politics, there's no permanent enemies or friends, but only permanent interest (s). Well, I disagree with them, because interests also change. What you find favorable at a particular time may not be a good option at another time. For example, the US wants the AfDB president, Akinwumi Adesina, a Nigerian, out by all means, whereas in the case of WTO, they want a Nigerian in, for their own interests. In conclusion, just as friends and enemies do change, interest also change. |

No
But I saw this on the first page
ayusco85: Please I need to make a decision btw ICES, IQAS and WES? Pls the experienced ones shld advice which one is better, cheaper and faster. Hope I got the acronym correct.
ECA is becoming a big issue with the addition of WAEC/NECO for Nigerian certificates by WES, so it's important to understand the pros and cons of WES, ICES & IQAS.
WES vs ICES vs IQAS
WES evaluates WAEC/NECO before degree certs issued by Nigerian institutions can be evaluated while ICES & IQAS dont require such.
WES verifies your transcript/WAEC/NECO by sending mail or email to your school that sent them the transcript and wait for your school to respond before evaluation is completed while ICES & IQAS require ONLY your school to send your transcript and no verification is required.
WES requires your school to send your transcript by post/courier while ICES requires your transcript to be sent by post/courier or via official email of your school and IQAS demands for your transcript to be sent by post.
WES charges $200 for all documents submitted plus additional $7 for standard delivery or $85 intl & $25 for local; ICES charges $200 per document and additional $75 for intl delivery or $26 for local; while IQAS charges $200 for all documents submitted plus $15 & $75 for local and intl deliveries respectively.
WES minimum processing time is 20 business days when all documents are recieved and verification email replied; ICES is 10 weeks (some got their ECA report within 4-5 weeks) and IQAS is 12 weeks.
WES & IQAS send soft & hard copies of the evaluated document while ICES sends only hard copy with a charge of $75 for intl delivery & $26 for local.
NOTE
WES favours OND/HND certs & evaluates it as 2 or more certs. It also favours nurses with BSc cert.
WES doesnt favour LLB but favours LLM cert.
IQAS favours both LLB & LLM certs & nurses without BSc. (Quote) ( Wes is the fastest. |
