chocolateme: I checked ur moniker. If the owner of nairaland bearing same name had reasoned the way u just did, then he wouldn't have come this far. To think that you are a man makes the injury worse with more salt added to it. In a hurry to sound relevant, u disgraced yourself. You asked a question "hope u are referring to Ghana?" Yet added insult to it without getting an answer to it yet "before you start to spill trash" The word "this country" and the country of the subject matter is synonymous in chocolateme's comment. So how did u bring in the word " Nigeria" to it? Plus your insult. You are really a very juvenile delinquent. You just quote people without thinking, rushing to metr out insults to someone that doesn't know your moniker, you just think this forum is a playground for everybody. You have not even uttered your personal opinion on the horrific thread, yet you are fast enough to bring in your sense of tribalism and ethnic differences. You better focus on your studies child. The Niger Delta environmental destruction and ecological devastation is going east. The militants must be trying to show that they are truly one.

agabusta: Oil exports on course despite militants’ attacks
By Omoh Gabriel, Business Editor, with agency reports
The figures are significant, particularly as the government announced a 30-day ceasefire with militants yesterday that could forestall further attacks on oil sites. “It was the gains from small fields that offset declines from others,” said James Davis, head of crude supply at FGE Energy. “The disruptions in the fields that were out was pretty much what we expected. What we didn’t expect was the marginal increases in other fields.” Reuters data showed total exports in May at roughly 1.67 million bpd, down from 1.77 million bpd in April, and also a rise in exports of grades including Bonga, Agbami, Antan, Amenam, Okwori that helped offset the losses. The figures remain sustantially below the close to 2 million bpd Nigeria has exprted in the best of times. Still, they suggest that many industry observers, for example the “secondary sources” polled by OPEC that pegged Nigeria’s May production at around 1.4 million bpd, were overly pessimistic about its ability to keep pumping.

doublewisdom: Make them leave the guy joor. Many Nigerians are even looking for countries to flee to. Olo.do Buhari has scattered Nigeria. Who was d President when d whole story happened... No b GEJ? Ojady: One requires no phd in picking holes with his story...however the point is, he has lived in Europe for more than 3 years, that is long enough to socially adapt to life there and not Nigeria where daily everything deteriorates from worst to the deepest throes of hell. Whether he is Eze or Keita or Siyabonga, is not the issue... The real issue is he is 'BLACK' made worse by the fact that he is 'NIGERIAN BLACK' - the most despised and highly suspected specie of black in the Universe. Go to Europe, India, USA, when the wrong things perpetrated by the less than 25% of Nigerians are reported, non-Africans and even Africans are like "its a Nigerian" or "Nigeria is involved". We, unfortunate to be associated with such a disreputable toga, comfort ourselves by saying 'na yellowbar', 'na African jews' when the bottomline of the report is to keep the bad name tainted forever and deny the immense positive contributions of the remaining 75%. It is little wonder that every opportunity we have to leave, we seize it...by the book or not, it is just a reaffirmation that man regardless of race will seek safety, security and self actualization, regardless if he is Nigerian, Zulu, Creole, Mulatto, White or Asian...anywhere he thinks he can...back then the Irish, Japanese, British etc migrated to Africa, Africans did not draft laws to shut them out or make life unbearable, now when the tables are turned, they cry wolf In conclusion, if he were white, he would have been left alone, if he had went the family way he might have been left alone, if he were South African, he might be preferred BUT he told the truth, I am afraid for my mental, physical, emotional, future life should i return...that is basis enough...he is first a human being, with a right to life and choice to live anywhere except he has committed a crime. #wakeupNigeriansthehateforyouisreal |
