Get qualified messed the recruitment up for some folks, They never contacted most folks after the mail from Rainoil, notifying applicants of a supposed mail for subsequent stages of the Graduate trainee recruitment.

When i noticed it was Get qualified handling the second phase of the recruitment process (Just like GCC in this case) I did a quick check on my existent profile with get qualified, created during my WEMA Bank graduate trainee recruitment application, i found it still active, also found the Rainoil recruitment on my job applications but no link to proceed with Rainoil's recruitment test.
I did a mail to Get qualified, copied the recruiter (Rainoil) but got no feedback. It got so bad, Rainoil took the recruitment contract from get qualified (after tons of complaint mails from applicants), but never resolved anything for us the affected applicants.

Painfully the recruitment process continued for the favoured few who weren't affected by Get qualified 's blunder.

Good day nairalanders, I had to use a new moniker.
I was married for 5years, blessed with 2 children, we dated for 1year before we got married. At a point in the marriage, domestic violence became a regular occurrence, after which he would apologize. I wouldn't say I noticed this aspect of him while dating. Of course I know I'm not perfect, but I tried my best to be the best wife to him and mother to the children.

To the main issue, there were a lot of issues that made me leave his house, he wasn't providing for his home, he works and earn well, so money wasn't his problem, I work also so I wasn't totally depending on him for everything, he hardly wants to have sex with me, I am neat as well, keeps late night, and he hits me severally. I left his house with my kids, after he hit me and left me in a pool of blood, this happened about 4months ago, but till now he hasn't called to find out about our whereabouts or to even know why I left.

I loved him so much that I endured a lot of things, but things kept getting worse,i had to leave. It's 4 months I left but only his elder brother has called once to find out what happened.
I am actually surprised he can stay this long without thinking about where his family are, probably that was what he wanted.
I never wished for my children to experience this, they keep asking me where's daddy?

Was I wrong to have left?
What necessary actions do you think I can take for him to be involved in his children's life?

N.B: both families have been involved in settling issues resulting from domestic violence severally.
He grew up with his father as his parents were separated due to some issues, leaving him and his siblings while he was barely 2years old due.

Most women are like that, women love comfort.. but if she married you with understanding... married you because she wants you and not because she's in love with the idea of marriage or of a man improving her life, then she wouldn't frustrate you when there's no money.


See, let me tell you the truth, when a woman is fixated on a man's financial capacity, it is because she doesn't see enough other qualities in him that she'd have wanted in her man. So the money just has to be there as a compensation.

I have a very unpopular opinion on this. I feel men get more desperate than women about this whole marriage thing.

Most men, they lose their one true love, the yin to their yang in their younger years... because they always feel they are never ready... they are chasing what nobody has asked them to chase.

And then one day, they wake up and realise "well, it's about time." Ironically, they still haven't acquired so much... matter of fact, they have lost more in terms of finances and emotional investments in the wrong people.

But somehow, they suddenly realise they need to get married. And at that very point, the good girls become scarce... the ones who fit perfectly... their preferred kind of woman. When the desired is not available, the available becomes the desired. So it is that men settle... marrying people they may never have otherwise married if they had decided a lot earlier.

Everything is planning. If you find a woman that's down for you regardless of your financial standing, best you make good use of the blessing. Y'all can delay having children for as long as it takes to be more financially capable. I mean, if you can date someone for 2/3 years without once knocking her up, why can't you be disciplined that way in marriage, too?

With unity of direction and hardwork, everything soon falls in place.

But no. You want to make all the money that you will still not make. And by that time the small money that you have will still not be good enough for most of the women that are available. Because they are the ones all out for "what financial improvement can you bring to my life?"

My first interview was during my internship, 2016. It was in an oil company in lagos. I wore one dead suit (coat), i knew as soon as i got in that i don f*ck up. The receptionist dey look me like say i shit for body. This made me super nervous. I actually wore a parachute, forced on me by my parents. They said i looked smart in it. I be engineer, wetin concern me with tuck-in?
As i entered the interview room, based on my zero confidence, i turned around to lock the door before proceeding to take my seat without greeting anybody. As soon as i sat down, the insults started.

I con stand up again, dey say i'm sorry sir, i'm sorry ma. They just tell me to just go back that they are down with me. Mehn, na so interview take end o. As soon as i came out of the room, i saw guys on corporate, without suit. . I just dey curse everyone that contributed to my downfall.

I later learnt that you should not turn around to close a door when u walk in. Close it whilst facing front. I did not get the job obviously.
