I had a date with a NLer a time ago. We met somewhere on the Island. When I met her, she appeared as a tushed lady who was well fed at home, so I didn't assume she was one of those 'I never chop' kind of ladies. We talked and we had fun. When it was time for her to head home, I saw her off to the b/stop where she wld board a tricycle to where she'll get a bus heading to Ajah. she boarded, I waved, and the trike* wheeled off.



Later that night, I tried chatting her up on BBM, but she wasn't responding. Later I called her, only for her to express her disappointed that I didn't give her tfare. She said she told her mother about it, that her mother said maybe I don't have cash with me. I was dumbfounded, didn't knw what to say. I was with 25k cash, plus my two ATM cards, but just felt she may feel insulted if I brought out 3k or 4k to offer her as tfare, because she was dressed expensively. I explained to her that I misjudged her presentation. I felt she was financially comfortable enough, thus no need to take the initiative of offering her tfare. Besides, if she didn't have tfare, why didn't she tel me. She didn't say anything.
