I have advised my sons never to take or invite their spouses overseas. In the same vein, i have told my son-inlaw behind to avoid making that costly mistake. |
One thing is more important than all these; the welfare of the Nigerian people. About 75 percent of us are living in abject poverty. |
The position of the first lady should be ceremonial and not official as it is not provided for in our constitution. |
The government has failed to pay attention to security of life and property in nigeria. That is why these hoodlums have taken over almost everywhere in the country. The inaction of the authorities has emboldened the criminals. |
There are too many rogues in this country. Nigeria needs an urgent clean up to prevent worst disasters. |
Promises mean nothing in nigeria. It is a way of buying time to steal and go. It is our culture and character. |
You fool some people some times but you cant fool all the people all the time.. The day of reckoning is near. |
What concerns Nigeria with that information. Another campaign of poor "shoe-less" boy. We will not fall for that this time. |
To move this country forward, we must bypass religion and tribe in choosing our leaders. I will also suggest that our electoral laws should be amended to stop politicians from using religion and tribe in their campaign language. |
Nigerians behave cheap when it comes to personal health. They prefer spending money on socials. Most of us dont take advice on health seriously. Ignorance, tradition and modern religious doctrines dont seem to help matters. Many hate to visit the doctor for checks. |
Nigeria was just lucky regarding ebola. We have never addressed any issue with collective determination due to greed and personal aggrandizement. I hope the virus will not be deliberately imported into the country by those who may want to make millions through it. |
I am the most popular Nigerian, potentially. |
Nigerians are best in doing the worst things. Shame on our so called leaders. |
Outright ban may be counter productive now. It is good to restrict okada to designated routes considered safe. The government can then ensure strict compliance by punishing violators. |
Good development. But how many years jail term for corrupt politicians and public officials? May be 20 years to life imprisonment. |
Every nigerian is equal under the nigerian law. He should present himself as ordered. |
Religion is the slave master of africans in general and nigerians in particular. As long as we continue embracing religion , we are destined for eventual destruction. Rigorous reorientation is needed to librate our people from religious slavery. |
"Dying after brief illness". Sounds like a disgrace to the giant of Africa. |
The laziness of Nigerian youths is a reflection of the physical and mental laziness of the entire society. Nigerians should not expect good living conditions until they stand up to question the status quo. There is too much aparthy in the country. |
It is hard to find a genuine man of God in Nigeria. Most of them are self-styled, self-called and self-imposed. They lie, cheat, exploit and steal by style. They have turned themselves to gods-of-men by lording it over their followers. |
The sources may have been heavily bribed to exclude Nigeria from the lists. Bribe is an instrument we use so well in this country. Words alone will not change our situation. Only action will . |
This judgement is welcome. Lagos state judiciary has relative stability and independence. |
The expression is not biblical. It was derived from various wise sayings of old philosophers. However, Prophet Muhammed (PBOH) says in the holy quran 13:11 that you should " TIE YOUR CAMEL FIRST, THEN PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD and give regards to worldly causes " This means that personal efforts must fail before you will call on God for support. |
The devil is the ruler of this world. No sensible person should trust any of these self-styled men of god. They are doing more work for the devil and their worldly apetites |
It is high time Nigerians, especially the youths started analysing issues on merit rather than sentiments. Our fathers and forefathers made the same mistakes which has brought us to where we are today. Let us for once leave out tribal, ethnic and religious considerations in our quest to proffer solution to the myriad of problems plaguing Nigeria. |
In the last three matches played , the eagles would have done better without a coach by using individual skills.Keshi was a minus to the team. |
Like men, Nigerian ladies/women still hold this ugly traditional belief that being fat or big-bellied is a measure of good living. Some yoruba proverbs encourage people to carry big bellies.. Even praise singers give them more recognition at parties. Aggressive reorientation is urgently needed. |
Super falcons would have performed better than these shameless eagles and their clueless keshi. |
Keshi has conspired with his chosen players to disgrace nigeria. Nigerians should also unite and disgrace keshi and his boys. The coach should be sacked and the players should be banned from playing for this country henceforth. |
Keshi and his players have conspired to disgrace nigeria. Nigerians should also unite and disgrace the players and the rebellious coach |
It is not keshi"s fault. It is the opposition that is working against the eagles!!!! Let us blame the opposition, and not keshi !!!! Honestly, the coach has outlived his usefulness. |
