If we refuse to talk, we are likely to bear the full brunt of their recklessness and wickedness. |
In this trying times when the economy is heading for serious crisis, will you support the idea of asking our political office holders to cut their salaries and allowances to support our economy in the spirit of austerity. Recently the finance minister informed nigerians to brace up for the hardships ahead and be prepared to make sacrifices. If you support this idea, suggest by what percentage you will want their emoluments slashed. Office holders - the presidency ( including principal officers) , parliament (federal and state ) , ministers, gonernors, commisioners, and all others. |
If you don't trust this poll or you doubt the rating, hit the like button. |
That rating by NOI is suspect and can therefore not be objective or reliable. In short, what is the reliability rating of NOI itself. Story for the dogs. Nairalanders can do a better assesment of nigeria's political leaders. |
Nigerians are an endangered specie all around the world, not only in malaysia. We are hated because of the attitude of the government that is incapable of using our resouces to care for the citizens. Many countries in west africa are already discussing how to disgrace nigerians in case there is crisis and we want to flee westwards. |
This is one of the numerous mistakes our authorities usually make. We polute every nigeria's decisions and actions with political reasoning. Our judgement is always beclouded by man-know-man syndrome. Keshi is being retained not because of any of the reasons highlighted but because no one wants to offend Mr. president who apparently should not have any business with the running of NFF. |
Prayer and fasting cannot bring peace to nigeria because those tools are for spiritual warfare. Israel ("God's chosen people") has never applied prayer in fighting her percieved enemies. Security of the people is a physical responsibility and not spiritual. The take of Babangida on fighting bokoharam is childish. If Nigeria would have another opportunity in future, it should realise that prevention is the best approach for combating insurgency. When youths are gainfully employed, they will have very little time to spare for criminal pursuits and they will love their country. Asking for jihad against jinad is clownish. |
Nigerian music videos and movies are not helping matters. Many people desire to physically partake in what they see in those movies and videos for personal fulfilment. |
Long throat syndrome. They want to make quick money and later venture into politics, may be. That is what you find in a society that places money above all other things. |
Emmy2019:You mean who is greater between the two ? |
Nigerian leaders are the people working hard to make nigeria collapse. The citizens are also complicit with their love for prayers and empty hopes of better future. America, or any other country for that matter cannot rubbish your country if you dont allow it. |
Smaller denominations at atm should be the least concern of the cbn now. There are numerous issues currently bothering the minds of nigerians. Such issues are rising cost of living, falling living standards, unemployment, to mention just a few. |
Prof. Soyinka, like every other nigerian is entitled to free speech. Why nigeria has turned so bad is because we prefer to suffer in silence rather than express our displeasure about government actions or inactions. Many of us erroneosly believe that good governance comes through prayers, wishful thinking and aparthy. Our past and present attitude as citizens have not helped nigeria's situation. |
I think the comparison is an insult to world politital history. |
Some of op's advice contradict the prescriptions of God for women in marriage. Ladies please beware . |
The news came up on channels tv today. This is a news our political leaders will hate to read or hear. Honesly, nigeria was never the giant of africa !! |
Lack of data collection and storage has been a major factor contributing to the ills of the nigerian societies. Our corrupt leaders have purposely downplayed this vital tool in our national life to enable many evade justice. Nigeria is currently suffering from this inaction. Anyway, kudos to Mr. Fashola for attempting to address this problem in lagos state. |
With all the blessings bestowed on nigeria by God, we would not have needed much help from America if our political leaders from independence till now have been visionary and alive to their responsibilites as true and honest custodians of our common wealth. Nigeria has always been prodigal to the extent that every nation deals with us only to be exploited. |
With their loot they buy fear , trouble, disgrace, condemnation and short life. |
daxon001:If your bp is good, you may have to see a doctor to run some tests on you. I will advise that you do that as soon as possible. It may not be as serious as you think. |
The guy Obanikoro does not appear to me to have what it takes to be a governor of lagos state. He didn't sound coordinated in the interview after his rally this morning. |
daxon001:when was the last time you checked your BP ? |
It may be good idea to marry a rich man but most ladies don't know how to cope with the problems that come with that choice. |
Doyin Okupe, like many nigerians has insulted God by asking Him to expose boko haram sponsors. This is the primary job of the government through the security agencies. We should stop trying to down-grade God in this country. |
Nigerians hate their country more than America. We lack 'charity at home' and that is why other nations are hating us. For America, i think they just want to avoid a leprous nation like Nigeria for fear of being infected with our numerous ills. |
No place in Nigeria is comparable with las vegas. In short, the whole country falls short of a county (local govt) in Vegas. |
Insurgency is like cancer which must be prevented or confronted after diagnosis and cured. When given time and space to grow, it gradually consumes its host. Nigeria ignored the signs of terrorism for too long . |
This is a difficult task for most men. But what if the wife does any of those things to the husband ? |
The prisoners escaped probably because their expectation of seeing our greedy politicians join them in prison as inmates has failed. They have left the jail to join their 'colleagues' in town; I mean the corrupt politicians who the courts have either refused to try or jail. |
Postponing the elections will fulfil the desire of a few and harm the expectations of most Nigerians. But for me , it is no-win situation considering the current politico-social-economic situation in the country. |
Since the people care about religion in our politics, it is also good for Apc to play safe in their choice of candidates. |
You've got a big job to do in order to stop her because seeing pastors is an addiction for nigerian women. One of the ways is to discredit the pastors by making her read news of atrocities committed by this group of criminals. You may print out such stories/news online for her to read. There are hundreds of such stories that may eventually heal her of that dangerous addiction. If she must attend a church, convince her to go to any of the orthodox churches - catholic, anglican, methodist etc. |
