Rodwave: At the point, both the president, the governors and the national assembly members should come on national television and tender an apology to the entire country before things get out of control.
They should be human enough to say "we are sorry for failing you"
Anything to take the people out of the street excluding the use of force should be done now not tommorow.
The arrogance of few that managed to smuggle themselves into political positions is the reason why we are where we are today. Seconded by me |

Career › Re: Mechanical Engineering Or Computer Science? by akoko11: 3:40pm On Oct 17, 2018 |
Gauss15: I'd need a candid advice on this nairalanders. I'm a 300L mechanical engineering student but after my 200L, I noticed I was no more drawn to mechanical engineering as I'd have to do some courses I've no interest in.
So far, the only courses I've come to really like in mechanical engineering is mechanics, strength of material and machine designs. Reason being that I want to major in robotics.
I've had thoughts of switching to electrical and electronics engineering because of my interest in embedded systems. But, it'd take me back to 200l and I'd have to spend extra 2yrs in school. But I thought of borrowing some courses from Elect and then switching over to computer science as I've been into programming that it makes me drop my mechanical engineering's textbooks too often.
Because I had lost some money last year and my detachment from mechanical engineering, I had dropped from 1st class to 2.1 which stands at impeding my chance of getting a scholarship to further my studies in Robotics. I will not be able to come up to a first class unless I borrow tons of courses. Being that scholarships are highly competitive, I'm considering switching to computer science because it harbours my love for programming and electronics. I'm 25, and considering that I'd drop down to 200L as opposed to the 400l I'm heading towards, I was supposed to graduate by '20 but I'd be graduating by '21 if I change to computer science which is just a year difference. By then, I'd be 28.
Am I making the right choice? I really don't have the passion for mechanical again. I need some pieces of advice and possible outcomes of my decision. in my own candid opinion, I will advise you switch to EEE. M&E rule the industry |

oviepuege: Keep quiet. B lying there. Ogareki power plant is a scam. How many mega watts is it generating. Den how many oil company is in warri again. Oil coy n nnpc rather work from benin instead. Delta cast. Anambra is far far better. Yet no oil . Imagine if anambra had oil.
I am urobo. I stay in Asaba. Delta na tufia. I think u lack manners, some one is presenting fact u sat in dry land capital called asaba spewing trash. When last did u visit oghareki, warri, sapele, ughelli etc. U need to see how oil companies are coming to oghareki, very soon oghareki will be a hub of oil companies second to warri in delta state. U can visit google to know the industrial strength of delta state. Do u know egtl in Delta state! if u are opportune to work there just for one month ur life will change forever. Asaba is mainly a civil servants city, I didn't even mentioned any of her industries, pls don't come here to expose ur ignorance. By God's grace wen the delta gas city is completed delta state will explode in terms of industrial development. Take a look at the internal generated revenue, u will see that delta has always be third not until last year Ogun over took us. This is not far from the fact that our government is not improving on wat is on ground, if not delta state would have pass this level. Soon I will post a more comprehensive list of Delta industries. |
