That's the problem...Law is not emotions..
Only the affected polling units or wards where PDP have been able to provide convincing evidences and witnesses will be affected.

The question is, do you think there is ample time for PDP to present all of their witnesses at the affected unitshuh
No mind the kid

All the tribunal needs to do is to order that the result should be recounted as uploaded on the IREV at the various polling units.

There was no direct call. The crux of the matter is about their defection and legitimacy.
Read the judgments again sir. Even in the appeal court judgment that quashed the order freezing rivers accounts, it agreed that the state has no budget. Fubara is sure of bruises at the apex.... His refusal to obey the appeal court judgment to re-present the budget to the 27 is already counting against him

Appeal court didn't look at the legitimacy of the State House of Assembly.
They indirectly did by legitimizing Amaewhule. They also ruled on the legality of the budget and 4 members. Fubara will take a major blow at the apex court

Politics › Re: PDP Accepts Court Verdict, Recognises Fubara Faction As Rivers Executives by Akpakomiza2: 10:32pm On Jan 18, 2025
IfnobeGod20:
You know the problem of some of you, you always think based on what you're fed with in your WhatsApp group.

It is a well known fact, no matter how stupid a court judgement is, all parties involved must obeyed them. If you think it was unnecessary for PDP to obey the order of the SHC that was first ordered and also re-ordered but you want they to obey an order that was given after the SHC order had been given. Then, you know nothing about law at all.

For the avoidance of doubt. It was the same SHC that ordered that APC should not conduct congress in the same Rivers state in 2018 and this caused the state APC not to field any candidate in the general elections of 2019. Obedience to the order of the court is sacrosanct and not what you must do when it is convenient for you.

Secondly, it was wrong for Wike's camp to have gone to shop for FHC order when an order has been given by the SHC. The best was for them to go and appeal the order, instead of procuring another.

Thirdly, the case is a state case that involves conduction of state congress of a party, hence, it is within the purview of the SHC too. Again, the SHC and FHC are courts of coordinate jurisdiction, as one is not superior to another.
If the case was conduction of the national congress, then, the SHC has no jurisdiction over it.

Fourthly, the law doesn't give absolute power to NWC to do and undo and go against the court order. The ruling wasn't about the substantive suit but an order that all parties need to be obeyed before the substantive suit is heard. Stop confusing yourself on the issue please. The substantive suit wasn't heard yet, it was just contempt of court order instituted and ruled on.
In the end, fubara faction will lose out at the higher courts and status quo remains. Worst still, the nwc will reconnect another primaries which will still favour wike. It is a waste.
Politics › Re: PDP Accepts Court Verdict, Recognises Fubara Faction As Rivers Executives by Akpakomiza2: 12:17pm On Jan 18, 2025
IfnobeGod20:
Which Appeal please?
Do you know the meat of the case? After the court had ordered them not to conduct primary yet, asked them to allow status quo to remain, PDP fragrantly disobeyed the order and went to conduct the congress and the petitioner went back to court to raise an issue of contempt to court order and the court in her wisdom said you cannot breached the order of the court and go Scot free.

Now, are you saying, the appeal court would tell PDP they have done the right thing by disobeying the lower court order? Please teach me something I don't know.
A federal high court gave them the go ahead to conduct Congress sir and in this kinds of cases, the federal high court has more jurisdiction being that nwc is from Abuja. Besides, the supreme court has always insisted that internal matters of the party are non justiciable and the decisions of the nwc is final. So in the end, the fubara faction will lose this sir as the original decision of the court was to conduct Congress in rivers. Fubara cannot win beyond the rivers high court

Politics › We Are Not Part Of Southern Kaduna, Lere Forum Declares by Akpakomiza2(op): 6:03pm On Jan 10, 2025
The Lere Local Government Unity Associations Forum has condemned the inclusion of its representatives in a programme booklet from the recently held Southern Kaduna Festival 2024 in Kafanchan.

The forum described the action as misleading and a deliberate attempt to misrepresent the status of Lere Local Government as part of Southern Kaduna.

Addressing a press conference in Kaduna on Tuesday, the forum, chaired by Barr. Nasiru Bello Dembo, expressed dissatisfaction with the event organisers, including the Southern Kaduna Community Development Associations (DDAs Forum), Southern Kaduna Leadership Council, and Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU).

The forum alleged that the labelling of Hon. Munir Ahmed Mohammed, Hon. Munira S. Tanimu, Hon. Gatari Idris Bashir, and Hon. Jafaru Ahmed as members from Southern Kaduna was intentional and aimed at achieving hidden motives.

In a statement jointly signed by the chairman and the secretary, Mal. Ahmad S. Idris, the forum clarified that Lere Local Government, constitutionally, politically, culturally, and traditionally, does not share affiliations with Southern Kaduna.

“The inclusion of our Honourable Members as representatives of Southern Kaduna is a gross misrepresentation of the facts. By the provisions of Sections 71 and 72 of the 1999 Constitution as amended, Lere Local Government is part of the Kaduna North Senatorial District, alongside Ikara, Kubau, Makarfi, Kudan, Soba, Sabon Gari, and Zaria local governments. It is misleading and mischievous to associate us with Southern Kaduna,” the forum stated.

The forum highlighted previous resolutions and memoranda, including one submitted in 2002 and another in April 2024, which affirmed Lere’s stance against being classified as part of Southern Kaduna or included in the agitation for the creation of Gurara State.

“We have made our position clear on several occasions. Lere Local Government will not associate itself with Southern Kaduna or be part of any agitation for Gurara State. These assertions are contrary to the wishes of our people and do not align with our historical, cultural, or political affiliations,” the statement added.

The forum accused the organisers of violating constitutional provisions by undermining the legitimate interests of others. Citing Section 24 (c) and (d) of the 1999 Constitution, the forum urged the organisers to respect the dignity and rights of citizens and avoid actions that could undermine peace and unity.

While calling for an end to the misrepresentation, the forum encouraged the organisers to propagate peace within their district and adhere to constitutional provisions for state creation rather than resorting to what it described as “backdoor tactics.”

“We urge the organisers to desist from labelling our Honourable Members as representatives of Southern Kaduna and to follow due process in their advocacy. We remain committed to peaceful coexistence and unity in Kaduna State,” the forum concluded.
