Akpakomiza again. Well this one no be Edo politics.

Like already mentioned, all those who coalesced against GEJ are getting the reward in kind. Nobody ever thought this coalition would come or. Here we are today, with many previously silent political bigwigs waking up to join.

Others long got their rewards with their losses. Next is the baba himself. Why not go and appease GEJ first? Maybe there something deeper about him that we need to know.
Tinubu is not a political weakling like Gej. Tinubu didn't gangup against Gej after all they were never in the same party. Same Tinubu supported Gej in 2011.

Edo politics is very difficult to predict so if you get it right, you can get Nigeria. After Tinubu wins again, you will still come and debate erroneously about 2031 elections so what's the point

What about Tinubu himself? Is he not the master of making coalitions and switching parties?

If you do not have information, why continue the Atiku story as if others are saints? While they remain in one party, they sponsor candidates from other parties. Where did the word “placeholder” originate from?

Tinubu was in the AD party when he joined forces with the then APP to support Olu Falae in 1999.
In 2003, the odds were heavy against AD’s control in the SW. PDP was like a tsunami that swept AD away. Tinubu agreed with Obasanjo’s second term to secure his own seat as the state governor. He joined the coalition with Obasanjo for his own survival. His party -AD- agreed to support Obasanjo, a fellow Yoruba man to remain in power. He was very lucky, as it backfired against AD in the SW. They did not reckon that OBJ and Atiku had targeted to sweep AD out of power in the entire SW. I remember vividly how on election day, BAT was on the streets moving to secure polling booths. He was the only AD governor who escaped the political tsunami. Bisi Onabanjo, Niyi Adebayo, etc were naive and swept out of power. I recall Atiku saying the he simply allowed Tinubu to remain as governor in 2003, out of friendship. He nearly removed Tinubu!

Crisis between BAT and others in AD on one hand and Tinubu and Afenifere on the other hand, caused Tinubu to move on from AD to form AC, another party. It meant that Tinubu decamped from AD. Those of you who say he never decamped from a party live in illusion. Atiku was having issues with OBJ over his ambition. Tinubu teamed up with the same Atiku in 2006 to give Atiku the Presidential ticket. BAT needed a platform to project himself on the national level, as AD was known as a regional party. Atiku contested in 2007 on the platform of AC and lost to Yaradua. AC transformed to ACN. The next elections came up in 2011. ACN brought up Nuhu Ribadu as the candidate. While Ribadu was the candidate of his own party, the same BAT supported GEJ against his own party’s candidate. Recently, Jonathan’s wife told us how BAT supported her husband in 2011 against Ribadu and Buhari. The same master planner finally teamed up against GEJ in 2014. He formed a coalition with elements of PDP, chief among them was the same Rotimi Amaechi, El Rufai, etc. They all including Atiku were members of PDP at some points. He brought others from APGA, ANPP and baba go slow. They all formed the coalition to remove the then sitting GEJ.

Can we not see that everyone who joined forces against GEJ are getting the same measure of issues that they set up. BAT set up a coalition to remove him. Now a coalition has been set up to remove BAT himself. Just as GEJ was not allowed to serve out his second term, the coalition now is set up to stop BAT from having his second term.

What goes around, comes around everyone!
Tinubu will still defeat Atiku again starting from the North

Again, I agree with you. The truth is that, barring any unforeseen circumstances, Tinubu will complete his eight-year tenure as President of Nigeria. You see the newly formed ADC—it will never work, head or tail; Tinubu still wins! Whether Atiku emerges as the party flag bearer or Peter Obi does (though I strongly doubt this), there will always be some obstacle preventing either of them from defeating Tinubu. As for Peter Obi, he has no chance—the North will never accept the emergence of an Igbo President of Nigeria. This may sound harsh, but it’s the truth. Let’s wait and see.
The only thing that can stop Tinubu is eve Atiku and obi pair and kwankwaso join them or Gej contests or buhari publicly endorses the coalition or most APC governors and stakeholders up north join coalition

Excuse me bro, do not live is self denial and illusion.
You seem to deliberately distort history. Tinubu told us the story himself several times. At his now very famous “emi lo kan” declaration in Ogun state, he repeated it. He said that Buhari contested several times and failed. He said that he went personally to Buhari and asked him not to lose hope. He said that he had studied the political barometer and done the arithmetics - borrowing from his friend Okadigbo - and concluded that if he could bring his northern votes, they would add to the Southwest votes, receive the little that they could from the SS and SE for victory. Buhari was not in control of Kano and Adamawa. Those were the jobs of Kwakwanso and Atiku. Were where you then?

You see Atiku and Obi teaming up and yet you are talking about one attempting to go it alone. Are you daydreaming? We do not expect such to happen, especially with the time so short.

We are not talking of 2015 and beyond. You called them expired, but forgot to tell us that Buhari had completely lost hope and surrendered. Tinubu relief on the anger in the land against PDP and GEJ. He saw the opportunity and capitalized on the disgruntled elements within PDP and the rest. You call Amaechi expired, yet forget the incidences of bombing and heavy shooting credited to Wike’s camp during the election to secure his victory, suppressing opponents with killings to secure victory. The Presidential elections in Rivers state always saw PDP with over one million votes. With all the so called Wike’s “war chest”, in 2023, APC scored less than 300k votes. What do you call that?

If Buhari was not expired, what makes you address Atiku as expired? If Buhari by your assumption is still relevant, what makes you think that Atiku is irrelevant? If Tinubu could beg Buhari to bring his northern votes as of 2011 to 2014, what more you think that Atiku cannot take his 2023 votes to 2027? By the way, what make you think that Obi has not retained his political base?

Politics as we always know involves patience, calculation, rest and watching out when to move. Those you called expired are bidding their time, as they know that their time will come again. Tinubu after he left the governor’s sit did not give up. He took his time, calculated, formed another coalition as he always does and won in 2014. Maybe if Ganduje joins the coalition after his recent hounding of by APC, you will call him expired too. Maybe if Kwakwanso decamps to APC, as speculated, you will not term him “expired”. Apart from Tinubu and noisy Wike, please mention others who are assert such influence within their states, not to talk of the federal level.

The same way Tinubu set up a coalition that was termed solid, you now find a re-emerging opposition. If you say such names as found in that list as expired, then you are simply deceiving yourself.

What I perceive is fear in you and an attempt to cover up your very clear fear.
You haven't countered what I said. I never said atiku or obi is expired. I am saying Amaechi and other politicians with the coalition are irrelevant and expired.obi will always clear SE, Atiku will win most of NE but that's that. That both are collaborating doesn't mean both will end up together.vthey only way they threaten Tinubu is they pair. Once only one contest, it is Uhuru for them. Even if they pair, I still see many obidients abandoning obi but them pairing on a ticket is the best...

When I said Buhari clears core north, I didn't say he won every state there. I meant he wins most votes in totality. Buhari has always gotten bloc in Kano sir even while losing though he struggles in Adamawa so recheck your records. How Wike delivers rivers is immaterial as far as he delivers.amechi attempted to use violence in 2019 but still failed to tell you he lacks capacity...

If obi contest alone against Tinubu, he will lose even with Atiku backing. If Atiku does same, he will still lose. 2023 clearly shows the north doesn't rate him and will never. Kwankwaso at least can deliver his Kano. Apart from amechi, what is the electoral relevance of Ikimi, Oyegun, David Mark,Osunbor? Why Tinubu and apc will keep winning is because in every state he has powerful politicians with popularity that can attract votes, protect and even create votes esp in rural areas. Tinubu has dependable allies, how many does obi and atiku have?

Even in 2015, APC put up a fierce fight everywhere. Can the coalition do that? They clearly do not have the capacity.

Lol. Look at Rivers, Pleatue, Borno, even Lagos.

Up till date, the copies of form EC8A has not been released for Lagos.

The legal team of Obi didnt see it, the INEC REC refused to release it, that is the problem with this system.

Atiku dont need all the North to support him, SS/SE and part of NC were for Atiku. He also got a chunck from that North, aside from the abysmal performance of Buhari

Atiku? We're talking about Buhari here, remember?

The APC is a coalition of different political parties formed to wrest power from Goodluck Jonathan—a Southerner. It's therefore only natural that there are more Northerners in the APC, as it were. The objective was to return power to the North.

In the same way, you'll see more Northerners in the newly formed ADC because the sole objective of that coalition is also to return power to the North. This is why Peter Obi, or anyone from the South, won't emerge as the party’s presidential candidate—note it down somewhere.
That is why I said Tinubu will complete his tenure

Anytime the President makes a speech without reading from a teleprompter, I always wonder why sane people gathered and voted for him.

PBAT is the only President in my adult life that won an election and people didn't jubilate on a large scale, infact people wore gloomy faces.

Can we talk about another topic pls.
In national elections, almost is good. If you can't win, get good votes in rival bases. In 2023 Tinubu cleared north central and with him giving northern Christians more appointments and projects, he will get more votes. Atiku won Taraba but Tinubu got 25%, Gombe is for atiku. El rufai is irrelevant. He lost kaduna state. He rigged the Guber election. He won as governor because of buhari popularity... Kwankwaso will align with Tinubu so Kano bloc votes is for Tinubu. Akpakomiza my friend, wake up and refresh your memory.

Buhari was termed expired after he lost to GEJ in 2011. Atiku was termed as expired from 2003 when OBJ benched him and he lost to Yaradua in 2007. El Rufai was termed as noting when he was benched. Amaechi was termed as caged by Wike in 2014. The mentioned and others formed a coalition like this, to unseat a sitting President Goodluck Jonathan.

They were termed expired and irrelevant, including your Tinubu. Can you please tell us how it happened?
You are still misapprehending the whole thing. Buhari had absolute control of NE/NW so he was never expired sir. Even if you bring buhari back now to contest, he will disgrace tinubu.el rufai is actually expired sir, he became governor through buhari popularity. Amechi is actually expired, he was fighting Wike with federal might from 2015 but still failed woefully. In 2015, as a sitting governor , he was completely humiliated to tell you how useless he is. Samuel nwanosike dominates his LGA.
The people that formed APC in 2013 where formidable, highly popular and superior to PDP. Can you say same for ADC? Apart from Atiku and obi, who can deliver his constituency? Atiku is not even sure of winning his north. Almost all the people in ADC are politically irrelevant and expired. They cannot deliver sir. But to be honest, if Atiku and obi pair, it will threaten Tinubu. If only one contests, walkover. Please be factual. Edo elections was even difficult
