Crime / Millitary Storms Niger Delta Region Of Nigeria...this Is Why by akpamfet: 10:31pm On Apr 24, 2016

– President Muhammadu Buhari Buhari had earlier warned those behind unlawful activities in the region to either desist from any criminal acts or be ready to be treated like terrorists

– Gen. Gabriel Olanisakin, the chief of defence staff, said that the military forces would deal with pipeline vandals, oil thieves, kidnappers, cultists operating in the region

The team was led by the chief of defence staff, Gen. Gabriel Olanisakin.

In response to President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive military chiefs have stormed the Niger Delta region to secure the area from economic sabotage and other acts of criminality.

This Day reports that the service chiefs were in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state, on Saturday, April 23, during an operational visit to the headquarters of the Operation Pulo Sheld.

The team was led by the chief of defence staff, Gen. Gabriel Olanisakin, who was accompanied by chief of naval staff, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ette Ibas.

Speaking during the inspection tour, Olonisakin expressed his assurance that the Nigerian military forces would deal with pipeline vandals, oil thieves, kidnappers, cultists operating in the Niger Delta region.

“The visit followed the strategic directive of the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, President Muhammad Buhari, to deal with identified Delta,” he said.

But if you ask me, knowing what's on ground. The Army was supposed to have secured a certain perimeter prior to calling in the Air force in order to mitigate or restrict Boko Haram fighters from escaping and infiltrating the civilian communities within. Because, as would pose other security issues. As the place gets bombarded the Air force should have been able to relay their directions to the ground forces so as to make more significant progress by laying ambush for the fleeing Boko Haram members that are now very vulnerable ...

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Tottenham Hotspur Vs Manchester United (3 - 0) On 10th April 2016 by akpamfet: 3:59pm On Apr 10, 2016
seydam21:
Match Preview

Louis van Gaal has hailed the achievements of
Mauricio Pochettino as Manchester United prepare
to visit Barclays Premier League title-challengers
Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Spurs go into the match at White Hart Lane this
weekend as genuine contenders for English
football's biggest prize. United, meanwhile, are in
race for the top four- they are fifth, one point behind
local rivals Manchester City with seven matches of
the league season remaining.

"I think that they have a very good squad and I have
said this also last year," Van Gaal said. "He has
made a team of this squad, a team that presses
high with a good positional game and they score a
lot of goals.

"They also have a lot of clean sheets though, which
show they are a well-organised and structured
team. I think you can give credit to Mauricio
Pochettino."

Pochettino has not only won admirers for his team's
style of play and sustained assault on the
championship but also for bringing through a core of
home-grown talent, headlined by Harry Kane and
Dele Alli, along with Eric Dier, Danny Rose and
Ryan Mason.

Speaking at his pre-match media conference on
Friday, Pochettino agreed with suggestions the
clutch of domestic talent could aspire to match the
achievements of United's 'Class of 92', a crop
including David Beckham, Paul Scholes and Gary
Neville which fired the Red Devils to more than a
decade of dominance under Sir Alex Ferguson.

"Yes, why not?" he said. "This is something we
decided on. We need to give them time to work hard
so they can improve. But I think we have showed so
far [the] quality in the team."

The match will come too soon for Wayne Rooney to
be involved as the United captain continues his
recovery from a knee injury with the club's
Under-21s. Ashley Young and Phil Jones, while
lacking sharpness, are back in selection contention.
Nabil Bentaleb (knee) is Tottenham's only confirmed
absentee, with Clinton N'Jie and Jan Vertonghen
(both knee) doubtful to return.

Tottenham Hotspur (from): Lloris, McGee, Vorm,
Alderweireld, Davies, Dier, Rose, Trippier,
Vertonghen, Walker, Wimmer, Alli, Carroll, Chadli,
Dembele, Eriksen, Lamela, Mason, Onomah, Son,
Winks, Kane, N'Jie.

Manchester United (from): De Gea, Romero,
Borthwick-Jackson, Darmian, Jones, McNair, Rojo,
Smalling, Valencia, Varela, Blind, Fosu-Mensah,
Carrick, Fellaini, Herrera, Januzaj, Lingard, Mata,
Pereira, Schneiderlin, Young, Depay, Martial,
Rashford.

Education / Re: PROVE to show that Making First class In UNI Is Harder Than Distinction In POLY by akpamfet: 12:12pm On Mar 23, 2016
[quote author=Ezegozie post=42519597]It is harder to make firstclass in University than to make Distinction in Politechnics.
Here is my Mathematical Prove.

For University to make first class, you must get atleast 4.5 GPA out of possible 5.
That is 4.5/5

To make distinction in Politechnic, you must get atleast 3.5 GPA out of possible 4.
That is 3.5/4.

HENCE
4-------------3.5 (For Politechnics)

5/4 * 3.5 = 4.375 (Equivalent For University)

CONCLUSION
3.5/4 GPA (politechnic)
is equivalent
To 4.375/5 GPA (University)

But if you get 4.375 in University which is equivalent of 3.5 in politechnic, You will not make first class because what is needed from you is atleast 4.5GPA.

So with this mathematical prove above, I hereby conclude that its harder to make first class in university than to make distinction in Politechnics.

Hope you understand my Prove?
[/quote

I get u my broda...4.5 out of 5 is 90% (for uni)
3.5 out of 4 is 87.5% (for poly)
So, they are the min. Scores u must attain for a first class or distinction... But hw that one go take benefit my pocket? undecided
