If this is the best way to protect schools from being abused by visitors and guests to parties done in schools, I am fully in support of this laudable action. It's time for event centres, at least one built by the government, to come into fruition. |

Like someone wrote, let's go for peaceful division or work like the UAE where nations are independent but work together to form one Supra-nation. 20 Likes 3 Shares |

So sad to see. And someone was advocating for Nigeria to hand over technical management of this country to China. Out leaders and masses behavior made this possible. |

All the best for everyone who will go on to compete. I wonder if the National sports association will have this funding in their budget unless the prince is willing to take full responsibility for Nigeria's participation. |

Sad how much of the lyrics that follow these amazing beats are soul wasting and deadly. Artistes need to feed on better ideas. 1 Like |

This action of the governor raises a lot of questions that may appear like kill-joy but it is worth asking. Are these gifts given from his pocket or the state is responsible? Can the governor go beyond this lottery style of giving and give Lagosians a general gift? Will he be kind enough to carry out his duties efficiently and also protect the lives of citizens? The truth is we have reduced life to one of luck and this makes sense if it concerns two or more individuals but it is different where it concerns the governor and the people of the state. Government are not meant to give gifts but create a conducive environment for individuals to thrive. 10 Likes |

More taxes to fund budgets that are filled with fake projects and overly expensive plans. It is really bad and something will soon snap and the people will pour into the street. 9 Likes |

May be this will be of help to someone, especially a shy person who have no choice but to take up a public role. Personally, I worried a lot about how people will judge me when I was much younger and this led to shyness on my part. When I was yet a teenager, I attended a youth meeting in church. A paper bearing selected Bible verses was being passed around and I took one despite the protestations of my eldest sister. She felt I would not be able to read and share what I understood from the verse I picked. I went to the front when it got to my turn and just bowed my head while reading from the Bible. I mumbled some words which the person closest to me picked out. He/she did the explanation and one of the attendees remarked that if I said what was reported to them, I did well indeed. That was the earliest indication of the fact that I can lead the Bible study which has become second nature to me right now. Though, I was short of confidence at that time, in fact, I suffered from low self-esteem. I struggled with this state and also discovered I hate to be seen and heard. I hardly spoke loud especially when given a microphone to speak. This proved a huge flaw even in my service year and that was the time I discovered a book titled, Confidence by Alan G. McGinnis. Brilliant book which proved a much needed boost to my search for a solution on low self-esteem. It did not change the things I dislike about myself. It only gave me the much needed boost to work on myself, physically, mentally and spiritually. The thing with being an introvert is the desire to remain safe from fear and regret. The desire not to confront some certain realities but then, regret is not something anyone would want to have. If you feel you need to be in the public face to fulfil your purpose, prepare to fit in by tapping into your innate intelligence and telling without extreme self-consciousness. One thing that will help you is just letting go of thinking about yourself for the moment and focusing on your listener. Do without worrying too much about how they perceive you. Finally, don't get stuck on vices in your desire to stay within your confine. Join groups in the areas of your interest as human relationship is important. 3 Likes |

I want to enter for a writing competition and will be making use of Microsoft word. I am required to submit a title page with a picture that reflects any of the theme in the story. I will like to know if there is anyone who can help me design a photo on Microsoft word page and it must not be owned by any individual or company. I will be back to check. |

This is pathetic. Criminals are on rampage and the media keeps labelling them with strange names. |

The first and necessary hurdle is having an industralised economy. One that is largely independent of foreign influence and a much more closer relationship between countries. 2027 is not really far and the planning should continue. 2 Likes |

As people will say, every mallam with his kettle. The Nigerian government grouse with Twitter cannot be compared to what Britain is asking the sites to do. The reality is that the Nigerian government needs regulation rather than Twitter. 15 Likes 1 Share |

When his boss called Nigerian youths lazy, he never thought a day would come when their ill-conceived wish to lead the best and brightest path of the country to the grave would receive the world's attention. If there is any who can put up a defence right now, it is none of the members of the present administration. All I have to say is that may the fall not crush those who have suffered the pain of living in the giant of Africa. God bless our new beginnings 23 Likes |

This is sad. Federal government way be like sure banker is now on the brink of bankruptcy. Indeed, this does not tell well for the future. |

This is both a win-win game and a lose-lose for the Nigeria. Many youths have become entrapped in this devil's game and see no other way to make it. On the other hand, we have an EFCC that has given little to no account on how the money and property seized from Yahoo boys are used. All we have is probably a transfer of ill-gotten wealth to a group of corrupt government officials. Youths need a re-think. 11 Likes 1 Share |
