Justwise, can u pls clarify this issue of submitting TRANSCRIPT for the visa application. I thought the transcript is usually sent to the school along with all other documents and after the school review they will give an unconditional offer to go ahead with the application. is it a must to submit transcript when making application to the embassy? I thought all doc to be submitted will be clearly stated on the CAS AND there are times when submission of transacript (Only Certificate is written) is not stated. i do believe this question needs clarification as a lot of people will be confused along this line rgds |
@ inspired, this is way too expensive o, is the gear box new? If Yes, is it possible to get price for a good TOKUNBO gear box with warranty? As for the stabilizer linkages, is that the last price. i really need it for my car but don't know it'll be that on the high side. Pls clarify this thank u |
Engine capacity for the babyboy 2000 model is 2.3-liter 4-cylinder while that of Honda Accord 2004 model is 2.4-liter 4-cylinder |

WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
@ JUSTWISE, Though the company is not the sponsor, i believe a letter of introduction (not sposor letter) submitted along with the application infer that the applicant is working and has some source of income which might play a big part on the statement of account where inflow can be traced to salary especially if the applicant make use of salary account. I know a lot of people that did that and got their VISA without hitch |
@ amune 1, letter of introduction by your present employer is a plus and good for you when making your application |
To butress what JUSTWISE said about laminated certificate, my brother that submitted his application today asked them at the VISA collection centre about THEIR VIEW on laminated certificate, they just told to submit and assured him that there is no cause for alarm, on enquiry, he discovered that almost everybody there submitting application have at least 1 of their documents laminated. I don't think anybody's application can be denied on that basis |
@ persist, all banks have a format for printing statement for embassy purpose, i also know that 90% of banks do back it up with letter. My brother just printed his statement from GTB yesterday and the bank gave him a letter stating when he opened the account and that the account has always been active & co. There is no qualms about the sheet used in printing the statement so far there is an authorized signatory on it by the bank. Giggsy has really addressed the issue with submission in the best possible way He's submitting his application today and i do hope to give update from time to time on it. wish u all the best |
@ sammytope, the 28 days start counting from the day the balance in your account hit the benchmark 5,400 pounds which is approx N1.3M as u've stated. You may deposit more into the account and even make withdrawal (this has no effect on the start day), just make sure the balance do no fall below the 5400 POUNDS at any time during the 28 days |
@ justwise, u are da man. u hit the nail on the head on all the issues raised. More grace to your elbow for the concise and useful info u'r dishing on this forum on a daily basis. |
@ Segbas, below are the link to the 2 forms needed for the tier 4 PBS application http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/en/docs/1903073/vaf9 http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/en/docs/1903073/PBSappendix8generalstudent you may some info and guide on this link http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/studyingintheuk/quickguideforstudent/adultstudents/applyingforanadultstudentvisa/ |
@ jikajika, I want to believe from your post above that u’ve paid the tuition fee fully and the b/c in your dad’s account is still way above the £5,400. Your dad can transact business on the account within the 28 days but not at any time must the balance be below £5,400. The documents you need for the VISA application will be clearly stated on the CAS, I’ll advise you check carefully and follow it to the letters and not include any other irrelevant documents when submitting. Like in the case of my brother, this is the quote in the CAS doc “Hello Sir, Please find attached, scanned CAS Statement confirming your place on our next course. The letter does not need to be sent to the Embassy as they have already been sent all your details on line. When contacting the Embassy please quote the CAS number shown on your letter” As rgds the name issue on your birth certificate, I don’t think there is any big deal on that as u’ve been using the same certificate for all your applications and there is every tendency that the DOB would have been clearly stated on one of your associated certificate (NECO, WASC ETC). I wish u all the best |
I don't think accommodation is a big deal at the mo, pay the school fee fully / part payment, have your maintainace fee + b/c of school fee ready (if u've not paid fully) and submit your application. Accomodation can always be sorted out when you get there. |
@ Vie, thanks for the prompt response, the info is well stated. i do hope a lot of people on this forum will find it useful |
Can somebody share more light on this issue of laminated certificate? My brother will be making his UK student application in some wks time and has this issue, he has contacted the school with the view of getting another certificate but they are not willing to grant his request. Can he go ahead to submit the certificate like that? if not, what should be done. Another question is this, when making UK Student application, how many months statement of account should be attached with the application (Assuming the applicant is working and not a student) 10Q U |
RUGGEDMAN IS a big fool, he's too engrossed and concerned about the whole thing. 9ce didn't mention his name in the track at all. To me, it's like he's feeling guilty and the guilty conscience is pushing him to do stupid things like recording a phone conversation and sending it out without 9CE consent, dat's it totally uncalled 4 |
@ UJU, what a Response!!!!!!!! the main question is how did she get trapped? |
there is a place @ OREGUN, IKEJA Lagos, it's very close to CHRIST EMBASSY CHURCH |
Thank you, will ask my brother to mail them on it. I'll get back to you rgds |
@ Justwise thanks for the prompt response, there is a place in the form that makes one to clarify whether the city is in INNER LONDON BOROUGH or OUTER LONDON BOROUGH. From my enquiry, EALING falls under outer London Borough. Pls check this site to confirm my claim http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_borough EXTRACTS FROM THE FORM 6.9 Extension application (following a course of six months or more and completed less than four months ago) Put a cross (X) in the relevant box to confirm your primary site of study. See the Tier 4 Policy Guidance for an explanation of the Inner London Boroughs and how to assess your primary site of study. Inside the Inner London Boroughs Go to Question 6.10 Outside the Inner London Boroughs Go to Question 6.11 6.10 You must have £800 per month to cover >>>>>>>>>>>>>maintenance in the UK (up to a maximum of 2 months). See the Tier 4 Policy Guidance for a full explanation of maintenancecharges. 6.11 You must have £600 per month to cover maintenance in the UK (up to a maximum of 2 months). See the Tier 4 Policy Guidance for a full explanation of maintenance charges. |

thank you guys, i'll check the form and get back to u ASAP |
@ just wise, thank you. IN conclusion, as a sponsor, i'll be responsible for the maintainance fee but if i get what u are saying right, the GBP7,200 should still be in my brother's (applicant) acct while he submit his statement and at the same time my own statement for the VISA application to let the BHC know the source of the inflow i've learnt a lot, i'm very grateful. i'll keep intouch with you as the whole thing unfold rgds |
@ justwise, thank you for the prompt response, i'll appreciate if you help me answer the question posted below. my monthly salary is in the redion of 150K while i do receive quarterly allowance of 195K. He's my elder brother and we share the same surname. who will pay for ur course fees? Who will pay for your travel to the UK? Who will pay for your expenses such as accommodation and food? Please provide details of your financial sponsor(s). >>>> If you are funding yourself state ‘Self funding’ and go to 8.41. pls help provide answer to this question, by the way, will he choose SELF FUNDING AND SPONSOR? thank you, GOD bless u real good |
@ justwise & all. Sequel to your advise on my mail thread above, my brother has resulted to raise the maintainance fee of GBP7,200 in his account BTW today & tomorrow and also to leave it for a min of 28 days as suggested. My question is this; he's working and on monthly salary of 45K. he has struggled to pay the school fees fully, now if he get the maintainance fee in his account won't they suspect that he just look for the money else where and put for the purpose of securing the STUDENT VISA COS there is no activity (transaction) on the account apart from the steady salary income. pls enlighten me. i work in a bank with a good salary, can i then act as a sponsor for him. I KNOW He's to submit his statement for the VISA application. Acting as a sponsor, am i to print my statement too with all required docs? i just don't want him to make any mistake abt this application that's y am a bit inquisitive. YOUR detailed input / explanation will be of help thank you, i await your response |
thank you for the response JUSTWISE, i didn't see the post initially. @ lad1000, thank you |
Justwise, kindly respond to my request. thank you |
