Afam4eva: Did they give him the Aluu treatment? Why do jungle people like jungle justice so much?
I'm sure you are not blind and must have read that they handed him to police. He was busted, beaten and handed over to the proper authority. This aint aluu's barbaric jungle justice. He was.nt burnt alive There is a huge difference.
Fashion › Re: Annie's Wedding Dress By Timi Ejiwunmi by Akshow: 4:10pm On Mar 25, 2013
The dress is nice, but the setting of the pictures reek of the "wannabe" mentality.

Posing in a European-styled house, in a country outside home, in a setting that doesn't contain a single element representing your African roots... With Indian hair extensions.

I swear, Africans want to be everything BUT African.

In all... I think the picture reeks of a cultural inferiority complex.
guy park well well abeg. Your criticism would have made sense if this is the only weddin they did. They had a trad marriage for cryin out loud! You want her to wear George or ibibio beads on the weddin gown jus to prove African ni? Free the girl Abi. She don do trado for her village i no know Wetin you want make she do again to prove she is African.

Timehin: Another tribal war!huh

But seriously nls is there a trophy for bigotry and ethnic jingoism? Cos i couldn't really fathom why so much hatred/competition amongst yoruba & igbos on almost every thread.

And some nls always pushed it to the edge of bitterness/madness!
my dear that is the result of ashebe's last book. Yeah i know tribalism has always been on Nairaland but it took a New dimension wit the publication of that crippled senile embittered moda phucker's book. The yorubas rightly feel insulted and the Igbos like their ashebe feel they can blame their woes for startin a war they are not equipped and prepared to fight on yorubas. Believe me the Nairaland tribalism was not vengeful and personal like this until ashebe's book of lies.

Ms Nas: Lemme break it down for you...

Ojukwu is a man who started an inconclusive war that led to the butchering of countless of his people. He couldn't even win the war even after sacrificing igbo lifes. That's an icon? Smh

Charles Oputa: charly boy is an icon? My Lord. Its like saying 'Denrele Edun is an icon. You have misplaced priorities.

P.N Okeke: isn't he the man that wrote that my secondary school Physics textbook? And he wasn't the sole author o, there were like 2 or 3 of them. My dear, countless authors are abound in the SW. Maybe that's why majority of the publishing houses are situated in Lagos and Ibadan. Cements our intellectual status.

Chico Ejiro: being a film-maker makes one an icon? Lmfaooo!

Chioma Ajunwa: I give u props for this a bit. But wasn't she disgraced and banned for life for drug use? Is that worthy of emulation?

Chike obi: who's this?
gbam.! End of discussion.

for your left mind you don mention people be that o. In a tribe of millions, who claim to be superior, if this is all you can come up with, then i advice you bury your head in shame. I can't even start mentionin that of yorubas, because that will be shallow and silly of me. Douchebag!
Celebrities › Re: Wole Soyinka And Daughter Moremi In 1963 (Picture) by Akshow: 12:10pm On Mar 24, 2013
Ms Nas: My GOD!!! Who sent you to school? Cos if the person sees the kind of sentences you write he/she will bury their heads in shame. No punctuations, no full stops, incorrect grammar, bad use of adjectives.....the list is inexhaustible. Yet, you talk about being an intellectual. FYI, yorubas have always been the intellectuals of Nigeria, so if u can't live with that? Too bad for you.
I have lots of igbo friends and trust me, they are nowhere as vile and hate denigrated towards the yoruba people as you are. So madam or mister....its time to look inwards and see that you are your own problem, not the yorubas. Stop hating so you might live long.
And if I'm right... U live in Lagos right? You hate yorubas so much but you can't seem to leave our lands for us and go bad to your erosion and famine ridden lands. Sad Irony bruh.
my dear dont mind the senseless fool. Jus ignore him. It may take time but a petulant child must surely go to sleep.

ziccoit: I'm not a tribalism or bigot but, I must say this;

The Igbo outlook on issues concerning the matters outside the spare of their knowledge is always weak and surprisingly inane in every sense of the words. They always claim victim at every available opportunity that you would be left wondering how such gene enters their DNA cluster. Igbo is the only tribe not loved by 'Yoruba' and 'aboki'. They are the one being killed by bombs in the North even when the statistics revealed otherwise. They are the one being marginalised even when their sons&daughters are rulling and milking us dry.

You need to read the above comment again to understand what I'm saying.

Sorry o. It is only I need to say something here.
three gbosa for u my brother. U mind the fool? we all know who the Nobel prize winner is so there is no bases for comparison. rip prof ashebe even though u dissed Soyinka and yorubas blaming all ur woes on them as if u are not responsible for ur own fooooooolishness.
