Sixfeetbelle:God bless you for this objective submission. This is one of the negative effects of addiction to social media. A serious candidate should know that he's not writing for whatsapp audience. I find it difficult to believe that such a candidate is brilliant as you want us to believe. Meanwhile, he (I mean the boss) should have judged the guy alongside other candidates provided that such kind of error has little to do with nature of the job. |
NYSC / Re: How To Rectify A Wrong Date Of Birth On WAEC Certificate? by akumarism(m): 4:07pm On Feb 26, 2021 |
MrJoelinton: Go and get court affidavit and move on. I had similar issue, all effort to get it corrected proved abortive. I paid 10k to WAEC and they were in possession of my original certificate for more than 2 years, still they didn't get it corrected. I'm using that same WAEC certificate in conjunction with court affidavit. To the glory of God, I've gotten to the point that nobody ask about my first degree certificate again not to talk of WAEC certificate that I wrote in 1996. 2 Likes 1 Share |

This honourable is just a clown disturbing public places. This is one of the outcomes of electing people who don't have basic understanding of how just few things work in our public life. Oh he think GENCOS just give energy to distribution companies free of charge. Has he forgotten that people running businesses and the affluent too will benefit from this largess if implemented? How will poor millions in remote villages and who are not connected to the national grid benefit? The guy need to be tutored. 1 Like 1 Share |

Politics / Re: Fire Outbreak In Governor Aregbesola’s Office by akumarism(m): 8:22pm On Jul 23, 2018 |
So, governo's office is where financial transaction documents are being kept? For your information, nothing of such happened. Here is the press release; Press Release Osun Governor’s Office Catches Fire, No Document, Equipment Destroyed The Office of the Governor of the State of Osun caught fire on Monday evening. The fire incident was as a result of power surge which occurred at one of the Air Conditioners inside the office of the Governor. It is heartening to note that not a single document, or equipment was destroyed and nobody was hurt. We reiterate that every document in the governor's office is intact. It is not a serious fire outbreak. The fire mainly affected the office of the Governor alone; no other office is affected. It is regrettable that the electricity suppliers have been persistently unable to regulate the supply of power to meet the necessary standard. Many Nigerians have lost their properties to power surges and other electrical malfunctioning. We urge the electricity supplier to save this situation by conforming with the rules and regulations of electricity supply. Adelani Baderinwa Commissioner for Information and Strategy State of Osun |

There is no point been mad at d minister if the system on ground permits it, I challenge SaharaReporters to investigate other ministries and govt parastatals if d same corruption is not the order of d day. How about the presidency, can't even imagine the depth of corruption there. The fish rots from the head. Until a sovereign national conference is conducted, where every area of the constitution is discussed and Nigerians are allowed to determine how to run this country, this is just the beginning. The fact that the system permits it is, and will never be an excuse in this case. Where is your right sense of judgement? Would you have made the same comment if you or your firm had been the sole victim of this monumental fraud? Let's call a spade a spade, all those involved should face the music irrespective of religious, ethnic or political affiliation. |

Business / Sec Suspends Ecobank From Capital Market. by akumarism(m): 9:59pm On Mar 21, 2013 |
Nigeria's stock market regulator said on Thursday it had suspended Ecobank from all capital market activities because of irregularities surrounding a loan. But Ecobank said the suspension would not affect its business, because Ecobank Nigeria does not itself deal in capital markets. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said an Ecobank client Arian Capital Management, a stock broking firm, had used capital from another company without that company's permission as collateral for a loan from Ecobank. The SEC statement said Arian had taken shares belonging to Avil Services LTD and used them as collateral for an Ecobank margin loan facility without Avil's permission, withholding the shares and accruals from Avil. It had first suspended Arian as a result. "The SEC ... requested further explanation from Ecobank Nigeria Plc. This explanation is yet to come from Ecobank Nigeria Plc despite repeated demands for it," the SEC said in a statement. "The suspension will continue to be in force until the bank clears all the issues," it said. Spokeswoman for Ecobank Nigeria Adenike Laoye said the bank takes payments for retail participation in initial public offerings (IPOs), but does not deal in the secondary market. The Togo-based bank's Nigerian capital markets arm, ESL Securities Limited, does deal in the Nigerian markets but is not covered by the ban, she said. "We actually don't carry out capital market activities any more. In terms of the business it's not affecting us," she said. Laoye said the dispute concerned shares valued at 11 million naira ($69,300), and that Ecobank did not know that Arian did not own the shares. She said they had issued a cheque to the SEC to settle the amount on Thursday. Pan-African banking group Ecobank has a presence in 32 African countries and around 9.4 million customers, some 6.4 million of them in Nigeria. Its operation in Nigeria, Africa's second biggest economy, makes up the lion's share of its business. Nigeria makes up about 44 percent of assets and revenue and 35 percent of its loans. Family / Re: How Can One Overcome Language Barrier In Marriage? by akumarism(m): 8:52am On Jan 07, 2013 |
Dan abu: op, learn Ebira! its that simple!! you have been asked which language you use when conversing with your people on phone - no response yet. I have Yoruba friends and family member, you need t see how easily they switch to yoruba even if they are just two in a crowd. let not the idea of tribal majority or superiority creep into ur head or is it against the order of nature to learn Ebira? WAKE UP!. I communicate with my pple in English if she's around except for those ones that can't speak english fluently and on those rare occassions I always make sure I carry her along by avoiding those words she might not understand. I'm not saying she should abandon her mother tongue but she should put me into consideration when doing this, this is a woman I've sacrificed a lot for including relocating and my career just to make her happy. The worst of all is that I've stop visiting her family whom we stay together in the same city simply because they use to communicate in this language when visiting them. Imagine communicating in ebira language for about 90% of time spent with them. |
Family / How Can One Overcome Language Barrier In Marriage? by akumarism(m): 8:16pm On Jan 05, 2013 |
I 'm a Yoruba man married to an ebira lady, our marriage has being blessed with a kid. In recent times, I discovered that she prefers communicating on phone with her family member in her local language when these people can speak and understand yoruba and english language well and knownfully well that I don't understand ebira. Each time this happens, I always feel insecured and I've sat her down and discuss this with her on several occassions but she refuse to change. Firstly,I want to know, is this feeling of mine normal and if not, kindly advise on next line of action. Thank you. 2 Likes |
Romance / Re: Dating A Broke Man by akumarism(m): 9:05pm On Jul 26, 2012 |
The truth remains that money is an essential commodity in every relationship, it is extremely rare to see a girl that will stay when money is lacking. One of the best decision that I have ever made in life was when I made up my mind to quit relationship with a girl (or fiance) whom we were planning to get married in future. I find it difficult to believe that this girl will leave me on the road because of another man parking on the other side of the road simply because I have none then. Though I have a job then but my monthly take home cannot buy an ordinary tyre. I thank God for providing me a good job in no distant time, I was able to get another woman who loves me unditionally. |
