ludd2018:It's like they have used lies to swear for you people. How many times in the history of Nigeria, have the Yorubas allied with the Fulani compared to you ibos?? Guy, the records are there for anyone that cares to know the truth concerning this. Even your own leaders have attested to it and it is on record. Yorubas supported GEJ to the Presidency in 2011 and when he showed himself to be incompetent, they supported a Fulani candidate (for the first time in Nigerian political history that more Yorubas would support a Northerner in any presidential election), and even at that, the margin of victory for Buhari in the SW was comparatively low, which demonstrated that a very significant number of Yorubas still voted for GEJ in that 2015. Meanwhile, ibos have allied far more times than Yorubas with the Northern political establishment, while Yorubas became synonymous with playing opposition. 1960- Ibo aligned with the North to become Ceremonial Governor-GeneralSo you see that you are a liar. Elections didn't start holding in 2015 Mr. man. Maybe you should go back and read the history of igbo-Northern alliances because there's a long history of prior ibo-fulani alliances. Ibos only supported GEJ in 2015 for selfish reasons, hence their continued bitterness about GEJ's loss, even long after Jonathan and the Ijaws have since moved on. So much so that an APC candidate even won the last governorship election in GEJ's state before the supreme court upturned the victory. You people should take it easy with the bold-faced lies, Ok?? Liars are liable to rot in hell fire. https://img.techpowerup.org/200902/img-20200902-222352.jpg |
Op, what exactly do you mean by 'scorned in Nigeria'? Why are you ibos like this for God's sake?? Is it Yoruba people that are governors in iboland? Or are the hausas the ones in your ibo states assemblies? Or na Fulani dey represent ona for house of reps and senate? So what exactly do you all want? Are there no ibo ministers in this administration occupying the SE quota? Have ibos not been elected into political offices in Lagos? Have ibos not been appointed into Lagos government at various times in the past and present? Would you be feeling this same way if Peter Obi was the current VP under another Fulani Aboki in the person of Atiku Abubakar? Are ibos not trading in peace in every nook and cranny of Nigeria that you are claiming that they are 'scorned in Nigeria'? Must an iboman lord himself over other Nigerians for you people to be happy in this country? Or is it until other tribes in Nigeria elect ibos as governors in their various states before you people feel you are getting your dues? Are ibos the only Nigerians occupying high positions in foreign countries that you people are resorting to this cheap and emotional blackmail? If this is an attempt to blackmail others to cede the presidency to you guys, then you are the biggest jokers. There are many other tribes that are yet to taste the presidency as well all across Nigeria, and they are not going about threatening or blackmailing the rest of the country as a result. Make una rest, ok? |
You people should adopt Tinubu as your candidate. Just dash him an igbo middle-name (like y'all gave GEJ 'Azikiwe'), and everybody will be happy. He's detribalized and will carry everybody along. lexy2014:Here is what Amaechi the govt. Representative said: https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/406420-amaechi-explains-sovereignty-clause-in-500m-chinese-railway-loan.html “I told them at that meeting, that these loans are not given to us, they are paid directly to the contractor. Once we sign that the job has been done, they pay the contractor. And this has never been done before. So what is critical is that the projects are being done. Or, are they trying to rubbish the fact that there is a railway from Abuja-Kaduna?I hope you guys will free me after this. I am allergic to stupid people. |
Saintp:Gerrarahia. China loans are paid directly to the contractor (whom happen to be Chinese),executing the projects they are earmarked for, while Nigeria pays a small fraction as its own counterpart funding. Some of you are so ignorant of facts of the subject matter but politics has messed up your minds. Na una sabi. |
muller101:Yimu. If na so e easy China go don take over America because America owes more debt to China than any other country. How much money Nigeria don borrow wey una dey make noise? Those that don't want the loans for deve make dem allow the rest wey wan collet am collet am. Debt is a viable instrument of financing as long as it is used for what it is meant for. Every big corporation and billionaire has taken on debt. Your business can never expand and grow exponentially without debt. You people should stop these political scare tactics over this debt matter. |
In my experience Glo still has the best data plans. |
They should first make sure that the Lagos - Ibadan standard gauge rail as well as other SW projects are completed before they start their political loan battles. Una wan develop with big and impactful infrastructural projects, yet una no get money and una still dey argue over loan money wey the terms still dey reasonable. Na ona sabi. lexy2014:Here is what Amaechi the govt. Bobrisky is just a cross dresser, that Nigga ain't gay anything. Heard Tonto is his fucck buddy. Say e dey lash am steady. Oloshi ni Bobrisky. This beggy beggy by igbo elite and politicians must stop. Igbos are fond of accusing other tribes of not being as competitive as them. Yet, we are seeing igbo leaders begging upandan to be given the Presidency on a platter/given a free pass. Even in the entire SE PDP there seems not to be one single igbo politician with enough guts to even hint at throwing his hat in the ring at this point. Even if na to pretend sef. It's like the politicians have already resigned to support another Northerner without even putting up a fight in the same PDP (these are the same people that shout upandan, calling others 'cowards' for not committing political kamakazee, or for not fighting 'Godfatherism'). And I find that very strange because even abroad igbos run for office, yet they seem so afraid of competing against the likes of Atiku and Tambuwal under the same PDP they are the biggest loyalists and promoters of. Abi na so dem fear Fulani reach?? Where is that igbo fighting spirit that they make noise and thump their chest about all over cyberspace It is indeed very strange.Ndigbo what is happening?? |
Godons1:Thas right. |
Godons1:.. FFK is destined to rule Biafra. One day that dream shall come true. Chukwu Okike Obama shall see to it. |
Coldie:Adoko bitters. |
Erica towtow don hear am for this Tiv boy hand/preek, as e jus dey pummel dat free ibo pusszy. Odikwa risky. ![]() |
I think the Op might be right. In the entire SE PDP there seems not to be one single igbo politician with enough guts to even hint at throwing his hat in the ring at this point. tayo4ng:Yimu. Preek wey Bob still dey use fvck girls including Tonto Dike steady. Confam. |
I see Tambuwal's moves as another sleek attempt by PDP to deny ibo people a chance of flying the party ticket in 2023. If Atiku gets the ticket he may likely pick another ibo as his VP. But if Tambuwal gets it, he may likely pick Wike or a Yoruba person as his vice. |
Artistic masterpiece. |
beejaay:Let's forget about Kano for a minute brah since Kano is not their constituency. Why hasn't Peter Obi commented on the Ipob vs. Dss matter?? I recall how igbos/ipobs always come here to drag and blackmail Tinubu and Osinbajo for not 'speaking' whenever any thing happens in the SW. Na una turn to tell us why una messiah Peter Obi is conspicuously silent concerning what happened to ipobs in Enugu. What is good for Tinubu/Osinbajo is also good for ibo leaders. |
Sanchez01:Just imagine that. Yet his fanboys on Nairaland would have us think he's the best thing since sliced bread when he's just an empty suit. Smh. |
Is it the same Peter Obi that is yet to comment on the ipobs vs. Dss clash that recently took place in Enugu that you are expecting to talk about this? Una go wait tire. Both Peter and Atiku are hypocrites. |
Another one. The other day it was one of them in Ibadan, now another one has been caught in Delta. I hope this is not turning into another industry in that region. ![]() |
Forumobserver12:I don't buy that. How often does on hear of success stories of non-igbos in igboland? Very rarely if at all. That suggests that igbo society is hostile towards outsiders making progress in its midst. |
Oyinbo people don crase finish. Smh. |
Op is right. Igbos need to show the kind of liberalism that other races are showing their people all over the world. Igboland is still the most clannish and homogeneous part of Nigeria while igbos are everywhere in Nigeria living freely. Igbos should make others feel welcome as stakeholders and success stories in igboland. |
Yeessssss!!! Oju ti ti won ooo. ![]() |
Even Peteru Obi has yet to condemn the murder of the ipobians. Something isn't right. |
It is indeed very strange.
