I don't think You are grasped with the realties on ground. Peter have every evidence to get the election cancelled after the day light robbery INEC called election. The process that produced Tinubu was marred by vicious irregularities and was bluntly condemned by local and international election observers. This question you asked means you don't know anything about politics and grassroot politics. Obi was like an independent candidates and people overwhelmingly voted for him. Now the Governor and House of Assembly Election is a grassroot election and the people are familiar with their candidates and they voted along that line not based on party sentiment.

It was totally disappointed at the level of tribalism and bigotry displayed by the Yorubas in this election. The lessons of this election should serve as a very interesting lesson to Ndi Igbo. It has clearly revealed whom your true friends and whom your worst enemies are. I have heard a lot of vituperation, some which centered on the fact that Igbos want to take over Lagos. For goodness sake how can Igbos take over Lagos when the LP candidate is more Lagosian than many of the self acclaimed Lagosians. What the Igbos really wanted was a fair Environment devoid of thuggery and corruption, a good environment for their business to thrive. But some tribal and hate filled Yoruba interpreted it as a call for Ndi Igbo to take over Lagos.

When it comes to the Diary of a Yourba man he sets in tribe and religion over competence and qualification. An action that is quite injurious to Nigeria's democracy. Take a look and the Northern Christians and North Central , they have consistently displayed that they can be trusted and Reliable in a true friendship and political alignment and I think Igbos should now know whom their friends are.

Furthermore Igbos should start rethinking how they can speedily start relocating their business down South East and some part of South South where hostilities are at zero level.
