I don't know how these politicians do their calculation but it I were these two great guys I would have vied under Labour and I am hundred percent sure they will win convincingly. Ambode was a good man who really performed well as a Governor and the people of Lagos stills Loves him. He has the experience and has the political charisma to lead a State like Lagos once again. Frank Nweke is an intelligent guy and I know he will really perform.
Why these people didn't vie under Labour is what I don't know or is it because they underated Obi and the Obedient Movement?

Then it should have been for example 10 States including the FCT. In this case the FCT is a make up of the required number of states where he or she is expected to get 25% of the total vote cast. But once "and" was used it has simply joined the two separate entities together. One is the number of states he or she is supposed to score 25% the other is the FCT where he or she is expected to score 25%.

I don't really know why urchins are finding it difficult with elementary English that a primary school pupil can easily interprete. When someone says "in 5 states and FCT, in 10 States and Lagos" the interpretation is that if you meet the condition in the other five or ten you must also meet in this particular one. It is compulsory.

You dont need to get 25% in FCT to be president. FCT is considered a state in the constitution. You just need to have 25% in 24 states, including FCT or not. Then get majority vote across the nation, then you are good to go.

Even going by the screenshot you posted, it shows you dont even know what is 25% of total vote cast. If LP is having 111k votes as the leader, then the second 61k with one LGA to go. it means the total vote cast is not much.

Modified: Go and read section 299 of the Nigeria constitution which already recognise FCT as a state.

And section 134 of the constitution states that; a candidate will be declared winner of a presidential election if he has:

“(a) he has the majority of votes cast at the election; and (b) he has not less than one-quarter of the votes cast at the election in each of at least two-thirds of all the States in the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.


So it means FCT is part of that 24 state required by the constitution to get your 25%, it is not a seperate entity, it is considered a state as stated by section 299.
Simple.

You are actually wrong go back and read the law again, this time slowly or call a SAN to interprete it for You.

Now let us take a look at the people behind the rigging of the 2023 Presidential Election.

Thugs: Some of them sleep in the Motor parks, drink Kai Kai all day and wear rotten under wear for one week. They don't have future ambition all they want is to earn their daily bread through thuggery. During Election, the politician pays them peanut to highjack election materials and aid rigging of election for them.

Police Officers: They work in a worst working condition with peanut salary that can't cater for their families. Some of them can't afford a decent apartments and can't send their children to a better school. During the election they are paid peanut just to aid the rigging of the election.


Youth Corpers/INEC Adhoc Staff: Most of them are unemployed and aware that securing a decent job is nearly impossible because of the activities of corrupt politicians. The politicians buy them off with few hundreds of thousands to help them manipulate the electoral process to their favour.

Vice Chancellors/Professors/SCOPs: These are academicians who from time to time go on strike to pressure the Government to pay them adequately. When it is time to ensure a transparent electoral process to usher in the person who will work and ensure that the educational sector receives adequate attention they start collaborating with INEC to rig election for their preferred candidates.

INEC Staff : This people sees election as a time to make money and to them they don't care about who is going to win. All they want is to have more money in their pocket.


You can see the value chain of people who are involved in rigging of election and you can see clearly that it is the same citizens like you and I are the one helping the politicians to destroy their destiny.

For everyone who was involved in rigging of February 25th presidential election may You suffer till eternity. How can an old woman come out to vote her preferred candidates and you end up cancelling her vote to favour a candidate that has bribed You. You will forever live to regret and face the consequences of your actions.

The Igbos You are hating are progressing, marrying, Buying cars, buying Lands and building beautiful houses at your backyard. Just check yourself and tell me an Igbo man you are better than.
