MOCKING JESUS They came in their numbers, many of them half-naked, exhibiting their nudity for the whole world to see. Many more others held a cross, a symbol of Jesus' death by crucifixion, all in the bid to cover up the heinous crimes of their youths. If those Berom women in Dura Du village of Plateau state truly believe in the pristine teachings of Jesus Christ, and have an atom-size conscience, they should organize another protest, this time completely naked, in expressing regrets over their earlier shameful acts, and in absolute remorse and empathy over the murder of Brigadier-General Idris Alkali, killed in cold blood while he was passing through their village. 4 Likes 1 Share

Crime / Press Release By The Supreme Council For Shariah In Nigeria (scsn) Berom Xtains by albaniy1: 8:20pm On Oct 07, 2018 |
PRESS RELEASE BY THE SUPREME COUNCIL FOR SHARIAH IN NIGERIA (SCSN) Berom Christians: The Real Terrorists Gentlemen and ladies of the press, Today the 27th of Muharram, 1440 AH equivalent to 7th October, 2018, we are gathered here to address you on the atrocities against Muslims in the Plateau, tagged “Berom Christian: The Real Terrerists.” It is an established fact that the last two decades have witnessed the most horrific period in terms of the security of life and property of Muslims in the history of Nigeria. A conservative estimate of the cases of genocide and ethnic cleansing of Muslims across the country, especially the Middle Belt, has engulfed the lives, put at over 200,000 innocent souls, with properties worth billions of Naira destroyed. Since early 2001, the Plateau has become the most spectacular theatre of mass killings and destruction of properties by the so called “indigenous Christians”. We will not for a single moment forget the horrendous atrocities perpetrated by Christian militia on various Muslim communities at different occasions and at different partsof this country, in places like Mambila Plateau, Numan, Wase, Wukari, Kuru Jenta, Zangon Kataf, Kafanchan, Zonkwa, Kaduna, Tafawa Balewa etc. The one that stands indelible in our memory is the plight of over 100 Muslim women and children that were abducted and carted away by Christians as “booty” after the 2004 massacre in Yelwan Shendam, Plateau State. Some of them are still in captivity despite the several complaints we lodged with relevant authorities. The startling discovery of General Alkali’s car and others in the deadly pond of the Du community, has established the existence of these ponds on the Plateau where the bodies of intentionally murdered Nigeriansthat are either Muslims or Hausa-Fulanis, are wickedly dumped by the Berom Christian Terrorist. Sadly, based on the formal and informal reports of missing people along that axis,we can factually state that, this cowardly act has been going on for long. This, we come to know! The “Berom organizations” as they called themselves, under the auspices of Berom Educational and Cultural Organization (BECO), Berom Women Development Association (BEWDA) and Berom Youth Moulders Association (BYM) are clearly accomplice in this murderous act. The brazen show of shame by more than 500 Berom Christian women that protested against the search at the pond in order to stop the Army from draining it, is a strong indicator to the complicity of the whole community. The most annoying thing here, though not surprising, is yet, the clear silence oozing from the many habitual noise makers crying blue murder and ethnic cleansing. Now that the TRUTH (though knownfor long) has been unravelled, the proponents of middle belt agenda like Hassan Kukah, Jerry Gana, Jonah Jang and T. Y. Danjumawere quite, the quasi-politico-religious body (CAN) is mute as usual, the online Vuvuzelas of hypocritical conspiracy are tongue-tied,and the highly biasedconventional Nigerian media have lost their appetite for sensational headlines and deceptive leads, with the exception of few.As at today, there's no single word from Christian leaders at all levels condemning the atrocities even in principle. No press conferences, no protests, no hashtags, no televised burials. All silent. Deadly silent! Just imagine if thesedeadly ponds were found in the Hausa Plains, by now, dispatches with claims of ethnic cum religious cleansing would have woken up the United Nations, and the hypocritical media would have been hyperactive in sensational reporting. However, I. M. Alkali and many others killed and dumped by the Berom ChristianTerrorists have been profiled to be killed and their murder has been socially constructed to look normal in the scheme of things. The killer community, with the aid of tactical spinning of narrative, have constructed themselves into the boundaries of victimhood. It is sad that these atrocities have been allowed to go on for so long. It is also sad that it is taking the murder of an Army General to galvanize authorities into action over this clear act of terrorism by a whole community. Everyone is aware of the fact that Berom killer communities have been perpetrating their heinous act of killinginnocent Nigerians most especially Muslims or Muslim-looking passers-by. Even on May 25th this year, the Council paid a courtesy visit to President Muhammadu Buhari, as at the time of that meeting, killings were going on, on Abuja-Jos Road. We forwarded complains directly to him on the killings in Berom territories en-route Jos, he told us that he was briefed on the issue in the morning of that fateful day and action was taken to carve the crisis. One may be tempted to ask; where is the DSS officers and other security agencies in charge of Riyom, Barikin Ladi and Jos South Local Government Areas, where these atrocities took and are still taking place? If the authorities had been up and doing, the fate of General Alkali and many others would have been completely different. Despite the thousands of lives trapped, abducted, maimed, killed, and dishonourably dumped in ponds and wells for so long, it is now apparent that if, an Army General was not abducted, many Nigerians have the feeling that, our security agencies wouldn't have done anything regarding this dastardly act. It seems it doesn't matter to the Governments that citizens have been disappearing to the hands of syndicates of murderous communities such as that of Berom. The communities perpetrating these crimes are known, the areas are known, the community leaders are known and several cases of missing/abducted people were reported in the past, but to no avail. This Council has cried out several times formally to the Governments and via media, but to no fruition. With due respect and heartfelt condolences to the family of General Alkali, especially his aged mother, the Nigerian Governments has never showed much enthusiasm and interests in unravelling some of these mysteries until a retired General was involved. Despite this however, we still commend the efforts of the Nigerian Army in this regards, as the saying goes; better late than never. The Council would hardly believe that the Nigerian intelligence community have been unaware of the cases of those missing people, the killer Du communities and the ponds. It is a disturbing reality that, Nigeria's successive Governments have been uninterested to the plights of the Muslim citizens in this country. Perhaps that is why Nigerians ask questions on the reluctance of our security agenciesto tackle cases of urgent national security, until one of them is affected. It is important to acknowledge that any act that terrifies people also constitute terrorism. The blockage of roads and massacre of innocent people in Berom controlled territories must therefore be condemned as one of the most dastardly act of terrorism in Nigeria. Unfortunately, the one-sided Nigerian press, as usual, deliberately but shamelessly under report such macabre killings. The Council and other Muslim groups have been persistently and consistently calling for the implementation of recommendations made by several investigation committees and commissions of inquiry, but to no avail. Obviously, this is why the massacres continue unabated. As Muslims, we cannot watch, with callous indifference while thousands of Muslims are being killed. Accordingly, we are once again calling on the Federal Government to examine the recommendations in the dozens of reports and white papers on previous crisis involving the deaths of over two hundred thousand Muslims, for immediate implementation of positive steps to stem the trend. As we stated earlier, all security agencies, all traditional rulers, all political leaders, all youth leaders in dominant Berom Communities in Plateau state should be questioned, those found involved should be treated as stipulated by law. We call on the government to do as expected and fish out whoever the miscreants are, no matter how big, or connected the personality is, the state must be seen as to stopping the culture of impunity by prosecuting the criminals. We call on the government to take forensic tests of all the bodies recovered from the ponds, so they could be identified for proper funeral and compensations to their families. The recent crisis in Jos North Local Government initiated by the same Berom, may not be unconnected with diverting the attention of the military from the search in those killer ponds. The incessant killing even with the curfew in the Plateau and the arson taking place in Jos should be tackled, at all cost. The Government should remember her primary duty is to maintain the security and welfare of its citizenry. This is the purpose of government and if the government is found wanting on this, then it would be seen as failing in her responsibility. Finally, we call on all Muslims to be law abiding and live in peace with their neighbours. We pray Allah SWT in His infinite mercy to guide us aright, to make us live in peace and harmony, to expose the perpetrators of crisis in Nigeria and beyond and give us a prosperous living in our dear country Nigeria. Thank you. Nafi’u Baba Ahmad, mni. Secretary General. |
Politics / Analysis Of The Massive Financial Corruption At The Pdp Primary/national Convent by albaniy1: 1:03pm On Oct 07, 2018 |
ANALYSIS OF THE MASSIVE FINANCIAL CORRUPTION AT THE PDP PRIMARY/NATIONAL CONVENTION - A MUST READ! Written by Sirajo Sabo Gassol. There are at least 4,000 delegates participating in PDP's presidential primary election. Saraki is paying each delegate $1,000 (N350,000), that is potentially $4Million (N1.4 Billion) for delegates alone, his opening bid as at yesterday. Atiku opened his own bid at $5,000 (N1,750,000) per delegate, or $20,000,000 (N7 Billion) for all the delegates. Nyesom Wike was paying $10,000 per delegate, or $40,000,000 (N14,000,000,000) for delegates alone. These figures were part of the early bids as at yesterday. Nobody knows how much they finally paid, but some inside sources said it's been up to $15,000 (N5,250,000) per delegate. There are at least 12 aspirants contesting in this election, and by the time they're done hundreds of billions of naira must have changed hands. Only that they're not spending it in naira, they're spending it in dollars. When we told you that the recession that happened due to the hoarding of dollars and depletion of our foreign reserves and excess crude account was caused by the PDP you denied... So where did they get the dollars they're spending now from? How many of them have any private business that generates so much wealth? Or are they simply spending money belonging to poor people? What exactly are they buying that they have to spend so much? Is it only vote they're buying or our future with it? Are these the same bunch of hypocrites who like to release press statements condemning vote buying when election does not go their way but who are shamelessly buying votes right under our noses? Can we honestly expect anything good from this same characters who said they have repented and that we should forgive them their sins but who have not shown any sign of repentance at all? How exactly will they "change the change" if they have not even changed their own corrupt ways? The signs are always there, right before our very own eyes. Everything to show that the one who promises El Dorado is nothing but a fraud, but we almost always chose to ignore them because of our own prejudice and personal interests. How exactly is a Saraki, a Tambuwal, a Kwankwoso, an Atiku who is being sponsored by money stolen from poor people better than a Buhari who was voted in by the ordinary masses of Nigeria without a single dime changing hands? I trust some of you would like to remind me that when Buhari first came into power that he was sponsored by stolen money too, but you're saying that that Buhari should give way for someone better... So how exactly is the one you're supporting today better? Would you not rather stick with the "devil" you know than the wolves in sheep clothing that we all know are even far worse? If you think Buhari is bad then wait for Kwankwoso, wait for Atiku, wait for Saraki and wait for Tambuwal. These are people who have no pity for the poor. At least Buhari pities the poor, which is why he pays them NPOWER, gives their children free feeding in school, gives them conditional cash transfers, invests heavily in food production through his agric revolution, gives bailouts to state governments to pay salaries, and refused to devalue the naira... So, if you see all that and say Buhari is bad then wait for a people who have no respect for poor people. Saraki is today the Senate President, what has he done to restructure the country which is a constitutional matter? What has he done to improve the welfare of poor people? Tambuwal is today the governor of Sokoto State, should he not first transform Sokoto State before coming to ask for a bigger responsibility? When he was speaker of the House of Reps, what did he do about the restructuring he's deceiving us with today? That one called Atiku was the most powerful Vice President in Nigerian history, yet only used his powers to enrich himself and his cronies at the expense of the poor masses. Listen to them talk today, none of them says anything about corruption... Is that because corruption is dead in Nigeria or because they simply do not have the moral ground to speak against it? None of them tells us what they're going to do to strengthen institutions like the police, judiciary, INEC etc... None of them has any clearcut plan on the economy, security, restructuring, power supply, job creation, education, healthcare, restructuring. The only thing they say is "Buhari has failed, we're going to do better because he who failed woefully before have repented", even though there is no evidence to that. I just pity the gullible wailers who don't know their left from their right, this is why these people are playing them like football. Sirajo Sabo Gassol. 7th October 2018. 2 Likes 1 Share |
