Topman7: THIS IS YOUR INFERIORITY COMPLEX AND IGNORANCE TALKING.
AFRICAN-AMERICANS BUILT AMERICA.
THEY WERE NOT JUST THERE AS UNSKILLED LABOUR.
THEY LEFT AFRICA WITH SKILLS IN IRON WORKING, TEXTILES, ARCHITECTURE, LEADERSHIP, AND MORE, WITHOUT WHICH THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO USA TODAY.
A QUICK RUN-DOWN BY AI:
.......
African slaves brought a wide array of skills and knowledge that were instrumental in the development of America across various sectors, including agriculture, architecture, craftsmanship, and cultural traditions. Here's a breakdown:
1. Agricultural Expertise
Rice Cultivation: Africans from the Senegambia and Sierra Leone regions, known as the "Rice Coast," were highly skilled in rice farming. They introduced advanced irrigation techniques, such as dike and sluice systems, which became crucial in establishing rice plantations in the Carolinas and Georgia.
Indigo and Cotton Farming: African slaves contributed their knowledge of planting, harvesting, and processing indigo and cotton, which became major economic drivers in the South. Livestock Management: Many African slaves were experienced in animal husbandry, contributing to the care, breeding, and management of cattle and other livestock.
2. Ironworking and Metalwork African blacksmiths were highly skilled in forging tools, weapons, and agricultural implements. This expertise was critical in plantation economies and frontier development. Blacksmithing skills also played a role in maintaining plantation machinery and tools, ensuring the smooth functioning of agricultural operations.
3. Architectural and Construction Skills Brickmaking and Masonry: African slaves brought knowledge of brickmaking, masonry, and construction techniques that shaped the infrastructure of the colonies, including plantation homes, public buildings, and urban centers.
Carpentry: Skilled African carpenters helped build homes, barns, and other structures. Their craftsmanship was evident in the intricate woodwork of the period.
4. Textile Production African women were skilled in weaving, spinning, and dyeing fabrics, contributing to the domestic textile industry. Techniques for natural dyes, such as indigo, were rooted in African traditions and widely adopted in the colonies.
5. Medicine and Herbal Knowledge African slaves introduced traditional medicinal practices and herbal remedies, some of which were integrated into colonial medicine. Knowledge of healing herbs, such as okra and kola nuts, had both culinary and medicinal applications.
6. Cultural Contributions Music and Dance: African rhythms, instruments, and styles laid the foundation for American musical genres such as blues, jazz, and gospel. Cuisine: African culinary knowledge introduced staples like okra, black-eyed peas, and gumbo to American diets. Oral Traditions: Storytelling and oral history traditions enriched American folklore and literary culture.
7. Leadership and Resistance Skills Organizational Knowledge: Africans often organized covert networks to resist enslavement, such as escape routes, maroon societies, and uprisings.
Military Skills:
Some African slaves had experience as warriors in their homelands, which they utilized in revolts and resistance efforts.
8. Engineering and Water Management Knowledge of canal building and water management, particularly from West Africa, contributed to the development of irrigation systems in plantation agriculture.
9. Mining and Metallurgy Africans brought expertise in mining precious metals and minerals, skills they had developed in African mining industries such as gold and iron extraction.
The forced migration of Africans to the Americas was a tragic and inhumane process, but the knowledge, labor, and cultural contributions of enslaved Africans played a pivotal role in shaping the economic, social, and cultural foundations of the United States. Their legacy continues to influence American society today.
............
.....Source: AI ChatGPT You using America as your case study. I'm referring to the Western Nations as a whole. No doubt Africans were and still are skillful but yet the Whites could get us to sell our kind to slavery. Why couldn't it have been the other way around if we were so knowledgeable? |

IF YOU HAD A WORKING BRAIN IN YOUR SELF HATING HEAD, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT BLACK PEOPLE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR A LARGE NUMBER OF INVENTIONS AND INNOVATIONS THAT YOUR BRAINWASHED, IGNORANT HEAD ATTRIBUTES TO “WHITE PEOPLE”.
SIMPLE GOOGLE SEARCH TO LEARN ABOUT BLACK INVENTIONS IS TOO MUCH FOR YOU.
JUST LAST WEEK I LEARNED THAT AN AFRICAN AMERICAN CO-INVENTED AND HOLDS 3 of the 9 patents for the invention of the PERSONAL COMPUTER you are all using today.
That an AFRICAN American co-invented the CELLPHONE.
That an AFRICAN American invented the traffic lights the ENTIRE WORLD uses today.
An AFRICAN American invented refrigerated trucking and transportation, which enabled perishable goods to be transported across vast distances for the first time in modern history, transforming global trade!
AN AFRICAN AMERICAN invented the technology that makes an elevator door open and shut automatically.
Prior to that people had to open and shut the door manually!
An AFRICAN American woman, Patrica Bath, invented the technology that uses laser beams to treat eye cataracts, which has saved MILLIONS OF PEOPLE worldwide from blindness.
ON AND ON IT GOES, YET YOU BRAINWASHED IDIOTS TILL TODAY STILL THINK “OYINBO” DID EVERYTHING.
BLASTED CRETINS.
SO IRRITATING. 😠 Take it easy man. Did these African Americans live in Africa to achieve these feats? They lived in a working economic and social environment built by the "Oyinbos" to achieve these. Invariably the Whites did it. |

Evolution is the most stupid theory ever, even those who started the mess knows they are stupid I'm not a creature brah but a product of evolution. Which is more stupid, Evolution or a story of a creator that can't be proven? |

IamSainted: Evolution is nonsense. A sham belief with no meaningful purpose. The big bang is too fallaciously ridiculous to be believed. The complexity of life and the constant and unchanging laws of nature made evolution rubbishy. Life begets life. Life can't start from nothingness. Lack of fossiliferous evidence is the nail on the coffin of evolution.
The workings of your brain only? How about the accurate prophecy of future events - in dreams - that came to pass? Like promotion, loss, breakthrough, death, clear revelations that are too apparent. There are signs of evolution everywhere but we choose simply to discredit. Prophecy of future events? Lol come on brah. |

You don't need any ogbanje spiritual stories to believe in spirituality; the spirit world is as real as the physical one. You are a proof that spirituality exists. 1. Nothing special about the "first man" (if it can be proven that is), it's simply evolution. 2. Nothing special about dreams too. It's simply your brain working while your body seemingly rest. |

Beautiful write-up Op. Anybody who has gotten to this point in life will tend to appreciate Science and scientist. Nevertheless I stand to be challenged that 90% of human deaths has a human to blame. From road accidents, to negligence, to gang wars and taking undue risk without considering the safety factor. The words "safety first" if heeded will reduce deaths drastically. Back to Science, scientist are working tirelessly to find workarounds to tackle deadly sicknesses and anti-aging. Now imagine life when they eventually do. Wish we had a group on probably WhatsApp where we can share knowledge on issues like these. |

Ladies and Gentlemen, We Desperately need to take this Matter of Our Eternity very Serious.
Everyone as a Matter of Urgency need to Do the Needful Immediately, without Wasting time, so as Ensure we do not go to Hell.
The Needful is to Surrender All to JESUS Christ, Come into a Genuie relationship with Him and Begin to Live for Him. donnie: I'm not sure you're familiar with the story about how angelic beings took wives of the daughters of men giving birth to strange beings and giants.
This corruption was the reason for the flood of Noah. But then it continued even till this day. The fallen angels lost their bodies after the flood and became evil spirits. Today, bodies controlled by artificial intelligence are being created by men so these spirit beings can inhabit and operate freely on earth.
Where did I say Satan is dead? Neanderthals are the result of this corruption... this mixture. They weren't the fallen angels themselves but are the offspring from mixing with humans. Today every white person has the neanderthal genes in them. Strange beings and Giants seriously? You seen an evil spirit before? Come on mate |
Foreign Affairs › Re: 'New Type Of Early Human' Found In Israel by albreezy4eva: 7:02pm On Jun 25, 2021 |
donnie: Those beings are NOT connected to modern humans, they are not your ancestors. The number or years man has been in earth might be in the tens of thousands (60,000) or even hundreds of thousands (600,000), regardless... but those creatures are from fathers that are not of this world, but are fallen angels. If you say they are fallen angels and that's their remains, are you then implying "Satan" is dead as he's also a fallen angel? |
Science/Technology › Re: This Animal Survived 24,000 Years Frozen In The Siberian Permafrost (Photos) by albreezy4eva: 9:28pm On Jun 08, 2021 |
peggywebbs: Hello, everything and anything can be debunked. There are rules and yes rules change. Man evolves, everything about our planet changes, there are no set rules.
We can only study, analyze, but someone in some generation will see something that was missed. Even if it means building on an established fact, it would still change.
Science changes it is why its referred to as many discovery. Scientific research cannot end because it leads to more and more questions. However, we need to understand where we are being manipulated and when facts are actually stated. We can only do this if we are ready to think and use our heads. I wonder when Nigeria will focus more on research. I am not a scientist, I'm a researcher.. I'm curious.
After I argue with you and probably get some insults from some about being dumb I'm going back to learn. Infact I'm looking up carbon dating now...but that doesn't mean I'll believe the earth is 4.8billion years. It could be more it could be less but I certainly have no capacity to know and I won't let someone who is also not sure tell me what to believe. Scientific laws don't change. Innovations are only made from these laws. I'll still use the law of gravity as an example, whatever goes up within the Earth's gravitational pull comes back down. Science used this law and calculated what amount of speed is needed to break away from this pull and space shuttles were invented. The beauty of science is it uses what's available in nature and builds on it. Religion along with other factors has been a blindfold to Africa and it's high time we start learning more about the world around us and work out how to make it more conducive for us all rather than leaning on sentiments. |
Science/Technology › Re: This Animal Survived 24,000 Years Frozen In The Siberian Permafrost (Photos) by albreezy4eva: 8:53pm On Jun 08, 2021 |
peggywebbs: I'm pointing out the imperfections of science. When people argue about science most atheists on nairaland are quick to assume the person a religious fanatic of some sort.
My argument is strictly that whoever dated that organism 24,000 is just up with another theory and it can't be taken for a fact.
There are so many things we don't know about our planet. Some people act like they do but then someone comes up and debunks it.
Science is a discovery of accuracy of facts, which makes it subject to change. But some people take it as law. They confuse innovation with science meanwhile they are two different concepts. The purpose of science is to inquire, or find out the reason why something has happened, it is still a guess work but they try to get as close to the possible reason.
In this way many scientists have exploited many people who are not ready to think or ask questions. Once they say some gibberish we are quick to accept like some people are doing with this 24,000 years animal.
People asked logical questions because they couldn't see anything and then they quickly pounced on them talking about going to read a book. For bleeps sake someone wrote that book probably while they were on their sixth glass of brandy. Science is to know the why and how. There are scientific laws that from generation to generation can't be debunked. These laws have gone through series of proofs before it became law. A typical example is law of gravity. Science is advancing and we need to get our mindsets right to appreciate these advancements |
