rottennaija:Western NGOs are basically CIA outfits. I discovered yesterday that the UK has a secret military base in Nigeria - apart from the dozens of CIA safe houses all over the country. SMH. Chinese media posted the secret British Military base. |
This lousy overrated aircraft that keeps dropping into the sea on its own due to mechanical problems, lol. Using this junk in real war would be a disaster. The same junk ran away from Iranian airspace once they discovered that Russia gave Iran radars that can detect it - to save themselves from colossal embarrassment because Iran would have captured it with EW, lol. Only F-22 raptor is alright and that as well is useless against Russians. Yesterday I was watching how Soviet soldiers manning Vietnamese AA guns shot down dozens of US B-26 bombers that were overhyped as invincible back then within a few days, lol. The same fate awaits these lousy jets. |
This is the bill and it was passed on April 27: https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/7311/text They’re bringing the war to Africa because they need the resources again. Expect another era of coups, regime change, flow of weapons, Islamists and information wars with manipulation in disguise as fighting Russia. |
uncleinans:Don’t mind them. When people in US are sabre rattling - it’s a “show of force” to them. Especially for a country that just got chased out of Afghanistan with its tail between its legs by Taliban farmers despite having $2 trillion worth of military in the country (they basically gifted Taliban $2 trillion, lol). But when Russia responds - they call it empty vessel. At least Russia has won wars and was just surgical in destroying ISIS in Syria - US is yet to win a war despite all the noise and trillions of dollars budget. |
maasoap:I don’t think they’re keeping China in line - I believe China is just buying time because it has trillions in US and European bonds they want to steal. It will just drop those bonds slowly/gradually - then act. Most people don’t know China has been under sanctions since 1991 (arms embargo and a lot of other sanctions) and that was basically what made it look inwards and become self-sufficient by producing its own things whilst mastering reverse engineering (same thing Iran has been able to do). So they’re used to sanctions having been existing under sanctions to foster the rise of China for 31 years. If they’re scared - they won’t be supporting Russia openly whilst attacking US and NATO. |
rabzy:Signing non-aggression pact doesn’t mean partnership. It means non-interference with each other as long as they stay out of each other’s lane/countries. Stalin also signed non-aggression pact with Japan despite just fighting a war in which they defeated Japan on the eve of the war. Germany-Italy-Japan were the partners during the war. And the British royal family and American Wall Street and a lot of American companies were in partnership with Hitler. Also, Stalin was Georgian - not Russian. |
sweetjohn: ![]() Bush monkey with room temperature IQ. |
Dalil8:The Great Field Marshal Zhukov - the greatest military general in history. Russo-Japan war and the defeat of Imperial Japan. 2nd world war - Stalingrad and Berlin. He also saw the future with this quote: Zhukov we liberated europe from fascism but they will never forgive us for it. That’s basically what’s happening now. But Putin is prepared for them hence he’s using limited Russian forces in Ukraine because there’s a big one happening after Ukraine.
|
sweetjohn:Brazenly dumb cunt. I don’t need Google - I’ve read the most objective books from Emeritus professors from Oxford and Cambridge universities. |
sweetjohn: ![]() Dumbest post by a mile. US didn’t even join the war until the Nazis were defeated on the eastern front by the Soviets and were marching to Berlin. The disastrous Normandy landing that’s overhyped with Nazis using allied forces as target practice until they withdrew to defend Berlin against the Soviets is what allows this asinine revisionism. The picture of the flag that was hoisted in Berlin shows who won the war
|
Burgerlomo:What would they celebrate in America when they’re yet to win any war? The last time the US fought any country close to a peer was in Korea when they faced communist China (a very poor China) and it was a defeat masked as a stalemate. And they lost in Vietnam. In the UK, despite not really winning WW2, people wear poppy to remember those who died during the war and it’s a national thing with poppy’s everywhere. Russians celebrate differently because they lost 20million people - the biggest sacrifice. So it affects every family in their country. And they do it as a national form of remembrance and patriotism (Immortal Regiment March) to say “Never Again”. |
faceland:They’re either from Siberia or areas bordering Mongolia like Buryat, Tuvan, etc. Russia is multicultural and they also have areas like Dagestan and Chechen that are populated by Muslims who look like Turks/Azeris. The guy that brutalised Canelo on Saturday, Bivol, is from the Asian part. While Khabib of UFC and Beterbiev the LHW champ in boxing are from the Turk/Azeri region. |

Long live Putin. God bless Russia! Death to imperialists and Nazis! Uraaaaaa! Op: you need to include the video of Putin marching with a picture of his dad with the “immortal regiment” march.

Great speech by the GOAT world leader in the last 50 yrs. Happy Victory Day to all Russians! Odessa and Kharkov must also be the taken, perhaps during phase 3. And salute to Russian and Donbass soldiers on the frontline. Imperialists and Nazis must be defeated! The world needs multipolarity!

https://twitter.com/ukraine66251776/status/1523608839714897921?s=21&t=HqJLr8AcUYwJ5wzrpTqC_Q Ukrainians have been posted video games and manipulated videos about Snake Island since Saturday. But the truth has now started coming out today. The second in command of their navy Colonel Ihor Bedzai was killed with tens of other Ukrainian forces when Russia shot down about 4 Ukrainian helis with troops, 4 jets and 3 TB2 drones on Snake Island this weekend. A Ukrainian attack boat was also completely destroyed. Ukrainian sources below:
|
![]() This idiot propagandist is celebrating the destruction of a landing ship that’s basically a mechanical canoe after his false claims that Russia stealth frigate was sunk was outed as a fake, lol. Well, on the same snake Island today - Russia just destroyed Ukrainian attack ship, 1 Su-24, 1 Su-27, 3 Mi-8 helis with troops and 2 TB2 drones. I guess the PR stunt and photo-op for social media propaganda didn’t end well, lol. |
Only idiots take the comedian seriously. |
That isn’t Russia’s most advanced tank - Armata T-14 is Russia’s most advanced battle tank. And apart from them showing it during one of their military parades, they have never been deployed anywhere. I don’t know why people are gloating since there’s only one T-90 that has been destroyed in 72 days of war. The best tank in the world, the German Leopard 2A7 tanks that the Turkish elite military troops used were destroyed by ISIS in Syria. About 10 of them were completely destroyed with TOW. It’s a war and tanks would get destroyed - no big deal. T-90s aren’t even that modern since it’s a Soviet era design. And they’re not really that different from T-64s, T-72s and T-80. Armata T-14s are the modern design. |

Tonypens48:It’s a necessary event as the world shifts. Someone has to do the fighting, killing and dying for a reset and that’s what’s happening in Ukraine. It’s going to happen in multiple folds - Taiwan is next. And there will be another big war in the Middle East. |
God1000:Lol, false. Too intelligent to be compared to a doofus like Trump. He’s a liberal conservative and he doesn’t even rule with an iron fist. Senile Biden and useful tool like Obama are more of a demagogue than Putin will ever be. |
Russian President Vladimir Putin didn’t always have such an estranged relationship with the West. In fact, Putin got his start in politics by working for Russia's pro-Western liberals during the 1990s. A on an often overlooked chapter in Putin's biography. In 1990, a 37-year old Putin returns to his hometown of Leningrad after working for the KGB in East Germany. Putin soon reconnects with his former law professor, Anatoly Sobchak, who had become a prominent liberal figure in Leningrad politics during the final years of USSR. In June 1991, Sobchak becomes the first democratically elected Mayor of Leningrad (though he soon changes the city’s name back to St. Petersburg). Shortly after taking office, Sobchak appoints Putin as one his deputies. Sobchak and Putin face their first major test in August 1991, when a group of communist hardliners launched a coup against Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev. Although it initially seemed that the coup would succeed, Sobchak and his team threw their weight firmly behind Gorbachev. St. Petersburg ends up becoming a major center or resistance to the coup. As a later profile in the Washington Post notes, Putin played an important role in ensuring Sobchak’s security during this crisis. In the end the coup against Gorbachev fails. The fact that Putin sided against the 1991 coup is noteworthy since many believe that the Russian president is on a mission to resurrect the USSR. Putin certainly regrets the geopolitical collapse of the USSR, but it’s also true that he sided against Soviet hardliners in 1991 The fact that Putin sided against the 1991 coup is noteworthy since many believe that the Russian president is on a mission to resurrect the USSR. Putin certainly regrets the geopolitical collapse of the USSR, but it’s also true that he sided against Soviet hardliners in 1991 Following the collapse of the Soviet Union in Dec. 1991, Putin begins courting American and European companies to St. Petersburg. Let’s look at what some Westerners who met Putin during this time period have to say about the future Russian president. One of the most interesting personal accounts was written by @EvansinAmerica, who served as U.S. Consul General in St. Petersburg from 1994-97. Evans tells a wild story of how Putin helped rescue two American investors from local mobsters. Another fascinating account is by Graham Humes, who was director of CARESBAC, a DC-based nonprofit. He also had a positive personal experience with Putin, who apparently helped him overcome Russian bureaucracy. Final testimony in Sharon Tennison, who has helped organize people-to-people diplomacy events between the US and the USSR/Russia since the 1980s. Here is what she says about her personal encounter with Putin in 1992. The main takeaway I get from these testimonies is that back in the 1990s: 1) Putin had a pretty good working relationship with the Westerners in St. Petersburg, 2) Did not have a reputation for revanchist, hardline political views. Putin did not give many interviews in the 1990s, but when he did, he echoed the standard liberal talking points of the time. Here is an interview from 1996 in which Putin warns Russians against accepting an "iron fist" in exchange for stability. Putin's time as in St. Petersburg came to an end in 1996, when Sobchak lost his re-election bid. From there, Putin moved to Moscow, where he quickly moved up the ranks before being appointed Russian President Boris Yeltsin's successor on December 31, 1999. It's important to note, however, that many of Putin's colleagues on Sobchak's team in St. Petersburg went on to join him in the Kremlin and remain in positions of power to this day. See Dmitry Medvedev, Alexei Kudrin, Viktor Zolotov, etc. This raises an obvious question: How did Putin and his associates go from being pro-Western liberals in 1990s to being completely estranged from the West in 2022? Why did their relationship with the West change so dramatically? This is a massive topic better suited for a book than a Twitter-thread, but it's a question we should be asking ourselves. Especially right now -- when tensions between Moscow and the West are at their highest since probably the Cuban Missile Crisis. Claiming that Putin has always been dead set against the West and the concept of democracy itself is the fashionable thing to say right now. But is that actually true? I think Putin's early political career paints a more complicated picture of the man. We can't change the past, but asking why Putin turned against the West is important for the future. Even if Putin is succeeded by a more pro-Western, democratically minded leader, what is to say this person won't also become disillusioned with and estranged from the West? After all, as Mark Twain is reported to have said, "History doesn't repeat itself but it often rhymes." END OF THREAD. Pretty accurate narration of events culled from Twitter: https://twitter.com/dimitriasimes/status/1521925191328219138?s=21&t=xrfcvMV9Jx0VuqwoRNHWjQ —————— Addendum: all the so-called “Russian Oligarchs” were created by the west via IMF and World Bank when they had access to Russia during Yeltsin’s era and auctioned most of Russia’s assets to a select few who’re mostly Russian Jews. Putin exiled most of them - save for a select few like Abramovich who bought into his vision of Russia’s future. And that’s why he started having friction with the western elites that run the deep states. Their plan is to have Russia weak, poor and destroyed. And Putin didn’t buy into that. I think the big fallout started after Putin gave his speech in Germany in 2007 where he scolded them. What broke the camel’s back is the anti-gay law that Putin passed. Great read for anyone interested in factual history and overview of events. |
Anyone with a brain knew it’s propaganda. That’s a modern stealth frigate that was commissioned in 2018 - not the partially blind Moskva that’s 40yrs old. They goofed when they claim it was hit by Neptune ASM, lol. Neptune missiles can’t hit that - they’ll a much more sophisticated missile (which Ukraine lacks) - to even get close to hitting. I also think Russia doesn’t do a good job in dispelling these rumours hence they linger. I guess it’s because they don’t care and only care about the battlefield. However, when it comes to public opinions - propaganda war is just as important as the battlefield. Regardless, this war has shown that a lot of modern weapons by the west gulping billions are utterly useless. And the most effective weapons on the battlefield are Soviet weapons from the 70s/80s. All the so-called “game-changers” the west keep spamming Ukraine with from Javelin/NLAW (they all keep having battery problems and have been mostly useless), US switchblade drones (zero kills and they have either inaccurate or captured with Russian EW), US Stinger manpad (most overrated manpad in history and mostly useless) and UK Starstreak manpad (1 kill in a month and mostly useless - are only effective in Twitter propaganda. This is where Russia should be fighting the propaganda war apart from dispelling rumours that aren’t true. |

Youngboss54:Great advice. That’s basically why I initially refused to engage them and I think I would go back to that. Most of the are so warped that they just parrot every propaganda they see without doing due diligence. I don’t even mind decent civil back and forth if they have a clue about what they’re parroting tbh. The ship they claimed Ukraine hit with Neptune missile is a 2018 stealth frigate. Once you see that - you know it’s almost impossible unless the Russians are super-negligent and stupid. Then once I saw the video footage - I had to laugh it off since it’s clear it’s a video game footage. This might be the worst propaganda war in history with thick fog of war. Ukrainians are getting destroyed everywhere yet there’s propaganda war that they’re winning just to keep them as cannon fodder. These people haven’t even be able to go on one offensive since they started the war despite outnumbering the Russian forces by 3:1. I actually have empathy towards Ukrainians because they’re just dying for nothing. All they army veterans from the west that went there who didn’t get killed have all ran away and it’s the same story about how it’s a machine war that’s above them and Ukrainians are getting killed mercilessly in their thousands by heavy artillery. So why not stop the war rather keep pushing these to their early graves as meat grinder for propaganda? It’s just sad. |
