Properties › Re: Construction Of Two Unit Semi Detached Two Bedroom Flat, Ogidi, Anambra State by aleem50(m): 2:41pm On Dec 02, 2015 |
abdulwastecx: Ok sir... We are developing a building model that will pay more emphasis on the strength of the building. What we have been able to do was to introduce ten column per flat to make the house more rigid. this is necessary when you look at the strength of the block we generally use in our building construction.
Thee columns were spaced with minimum distance of 3.6m to help carry the intended concrete facial ( parapet ) and roofing load. The columns were also reinforced with minimum diameter of steel to reduce cost.
From cost perspective, its not out of place to reinforced the building with about N 76,000 in other to avoid any structural failure in the future, considering the fact much more will be spend on the finishing phase.
Here is a simple breakdown of the column: 1.footing with size of 600mm x 600mm only need 8nr of 600mm bar total number of footings = 20 nr of bar required = 20 x 8 x 0.6/12 = 8 bars cost of Y12 @ N1,100 = N8,800
columns of 3.75m high 20 nr of column with four bars per column number of bar required = 20 x 4 x 4/12 =27bars cost of bar = N1,100 x 27 = N29,700
Links of 750mm length spaced @ 400mm center to center Number required = 3/0.4 x 20 x 0.75/12 = 10Y10 bars Y bar is N900/br = N9,000
Binding wire = N2,000
Total amount on materials = N48,500
Workmanship = N25,000
Transport = N 2,500
Total =N75,500 sir, you didn't put into consideration the length of the bars when calculating for the number of bars required. Pls how did you come about your own calculation? |

kahal29: In the light of the new development. I think Yahaya bello should replace Audu since he came second in the primaries to avoid any legal loophole the other parties might want to exploit. For the Igala's they already have a minister in the person of ocholi who happens to come from the same Dekina LGA with wada, the okuns have the deputy in the person of faleke while the Ebira's will now be allowed to produce the Governor. I think this will balance things in the state. In addittion, to appease the Igala's the more maybe they should also be allowed to produce the speaker while the okun's will produce the deputy speaker of the house of assembly. make sense |

SonOfEl: And you think your barber friend will tell you anything Biafra? He told YOU WHAT YOU WANTED TO HEAR. Simple. However, the issue of IGBOS leaving their businesses to move east is uncalled for. Don't we have businesses in Benin rep, Ghana, south Africa, Gabon, Kenya, etc? The point is, once Biafra is achieved, Nigeria becomes a neighbouring country whereby IGBOS can still run businesses legitimately. ITS NO BIG DEAL. he didn't just told me what I wanted to hear I swear, this guy can speak yoruba fluently, I can judge from his emotion. Just forget about biafra, It can never happen, go and face your business and strive for how u gonna make it in life.My barber friend even told me to the point that you Igbos are not unite, that there is always division among you guys, that you guys never wish one another well by claiming I am superior than you are and vice versa and if in the long run biafra is actualized, there will still be internal crisis. I once lived in saki, oyo state for good two years and I can tell you that I met more than enough Igbos doing business there and they have built houses and properties there because they can't do good things in their homeland because of hatred within their family, that's why most Igbos have properties outside their region. NB :Saki is 3hrs journey from Ibadan which is the nearest city in oyo state to SE. |

Igbos are just too confused set of people, I am gonna keep saying this. My Barber is Igbo, I asked him yesterday night that Bros what can you say about this biafra of a thing, he replied me that he don't have business with biafra that should he leave his business and investment here in Ibadan and go back to the east because of those selfish protesters? We spoke deeply yesterday and from his reaction, I can say categorically that all those people protesting are being sponsored just to frustrate buhari government, when hunger beat them wella, they will return back to their business. |

There are more than 300 tribes in Nigeria and one sophisticated tribe is claiming a place is a no man's land, and you think you guys are your right senses at all? Do you know how many towns, cities that you gonna pass-through and the risk you put your life to before you got to Lagos to sell gala and lacasera in the hold up? #madman |

I don't want to comment but still I must comment. This rating is totall rubbish, it is the handiwork of biafra to demote the west. Let me even assume that it is true, the whole of oyo state in terms of population, land area is much more bigger than three SE States combine meaning the Labour force in oyo state takes most of the IGR and allocation with reference to payment of salaries. Whether you people like it or not, SW is the most developed region in Nigeria, SE is the least developed. Because with all these ur index of a thing, your leaders have nothing to show for it. IGBOS----the most confused set of people in the universe with landlocked area and without without clear cut direction. |
