Also send a mail to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca They reply to that faster than CSE. No need to attach any document in the mail. But while raising CSE, just your marriage certificate should be uploaded. No need to send other documents via CSE. When they reply you and request for documents, new document holders will be created in your profile where you are to upload those other documents including the marriage certificate you uploaded during CSE. |

DereI: Abeg explain this one well for me like ABC...
So you mean, once AOR has been gotten, then we can marry and notify them? Would they still be able to add him into the application? Will it reduce my initial CRS? Abeg explain gimme, my eyes dey screen!!! Abbylee: Good morning guys,
Remember I asked some questions on behalf of my fiancee in the last thread. Someone suggested us getting married first and adding me to his application as a dependant before he submits.
I have a couple of questions please...
1. For my fiancee: Please how does one go about getting a new passport if the old one is lost, especially after ITA has been received? How does one notify CIC and at what point? Note that E-Application will due for submission first week in November.
2. For me: Can i claim points for my NYSC experience? I was posted to a school, but i never went there, I worked elsewhere which is where i am till date, total of 3 yrs in September including the NYSC experience. Can this fly? The company won't have any issue giving me a reference letter saying i worked for 3 yrs(NYSC included). Must my NYSC details be requested for at any point?
3. Which approach is better/faster, more efficient, more everything lol? - We are not sure how quickly we can do court wedding (you know how dramatic parents can be) before the deadline for his application or should we apply separately? I have done my WES and plan to take the belts next month. Is adding me after he submits his application more complicated?
Thanks a lot guys!!! Let me share my timeline to show you my experience: AOR: June 29 Medical passed & UCI assigned: July 18 IP1: July 18 NA2: Aug 01 Got married: Aug 03 Notified IRCC: Aug 04 ADR for Spouse medicals, PCC, marriage cert, proof of relationship, schedule A, travel history, additional family info, payment reciept for PR application & RPRF: Aug 08 Submitted ADR: Aug 14 Spouse added to application & assigned UCI: Aug 15 IP2: Aug 16 Awaiting PPR |

You should get married after he submits!!! If you get married before he submits he'll need to reject the ITA cos his points will have to be re-calculated which will come below his current CRS Abbylee: Good morning guys,

Your current account with Zenith might be better. GTB will most likely not give you the letter in IRCC format on a savings account. olajide21: Hello House, I operate Current account with Zenith Bank and a Savings account with GTB. Which Bank would you suggest my PoF should be domicile? The bank with a proven record of cooperation i mean. |

You surely do have a good heart and I like your spirit bro...keep it up!!! Blackbuddy: Hi, I moved to the GTA in June 2015 and settled in Mississauga. I came with my whole family and my wife and I (bankers) started the job hunt also attending the excellent newcomers training with Acess Employment. After 3 months, my wife got several job offers in her field and accepted an offer from a multinational conglomerate which was bought over by America's largest bank and she's doing very well there, even training other new employees now. I got my own break after 6 months as I was focused on finding a job equal or higher than my last position in Nigeria. I got several job offers as well from top banks and finally decided to accept an offer from a top 5 bank in a senior position. A lot of people here who follow Canadavisa forum know my story and I'm a good example of favour and determination.
Don't let anyone tell you that settling in Ontario, Toronto or any big city for that matter was a mistake. There are Nigerians who came before us doing very well and many more will come behind and do just as well. Remember, the battle is fought, won or lost in the mind first of all and then the physical manifestation follows. Sure there may be those who are satisfied with playing in smaller ponds but there are also others who take the plunge and swim in big waters. Abraham left a small, humble beginning for great adversity to claim a big destiny, not the other way round. Same for when Joshua led the chosen into the midst of giants and they prevailed. It's never about the size of the dog going to fight but the size of the fight in the dog. If you decide to go to a smaller city and start over, it's good and fine as it's your journey in life. If you decide to stake your claim here and get your prize as God is doing it for those of us here, that's also fine. You can send me a private message to share some further support and maybe connect you with other successful Nigerians/Canadians on ground here so you learn and gain from them. It wont cost me anything to lift you up, it only glorifies God. |
