Nigerian Model and actress Namia Roberts is a young go getter who continues to take the industry by storm with her impressive achievements at the young age of 21.   

MODELLING[i][/i]  ‎
Being born and raised in Nigeria she made her debut in modelling at the tender age of 15 after she opened the TON fashion show in 2012. In 2013 shortly after relocating to England she walked the in Ecowas fashion week 2013 as well as  London fashion week 2013.  In the later years she has gone on to work with top photographers and videographers in major cities like Lagos, London, Dubai, ibiza... to list a few.  In 2015 she got her big break after modelling for stylist Christina Cantisano, which landed her, her first cover in blab magazine, she also featured in a campaign for El-Mario fashion house and starred in the star view hotels billboard campaign and not long after Namia landed herself an ambassadorship deal and is currently the celebrity ambassador for star view Palace hotel Abuja. Later that year Namia  was also made the face of Reflection salon and spa, a luxury unisex beauty hub based in abuja.            

ACTING                                
In 2016 Namia made her debut in the Nigerian film industry playing alongside talented actor Tope Tedala and Kiki omelli in "The happyness limited" which ‎was directed by the Award winning Imoh Umoren. Later that year she played a lead role in the yet to be released “Damsel” alongside Bobby Obodo and Gbenga Titiloye.  In 2017 she landed a role in her first cinema film “Played” in which she played the character of  Courtney alongside veteran actor Jide kosoko.and other top Nollywood actors such as Angela Okorie.  Shortly after she also played a lead role in the award winning “Thin Line”. Where she worked alongside many acclaimed and fast rising actors such as Nonso Odogu,Efe irele, Ben lugo Toui, to list a few.  The talented entertainer is currently the face of crystal brains empire, under which she has been able to fulfil her Philanthropy dreams. Her numerous projects such as  raising funds and providing basic amenities for IDP's in Abuja and raising funds for terminally ill children across Nigeria earned her, her nomination for POSITIVE ROLE MODEL AGE in the national diversity awards 2015.  She recently launched her “Pink Power” foundation which is a foundation concerned with providing the basic needs, rights and protection for the girl child. With her flawless acting, eccentric personality and gorgeous face Namia plays in a league of her own.  Known for her famous phrase "Who says the sky is the limit when they are foot prints on the moon" this young go getter is certainly one to watch out for.

Queen Catherinemary Nneamaka, the Computer Science graduate who emerged  from Godfrey Okoye University with a first class and also as the overall BEST GRADUATING STUDENT 2017, had her convocation ceremony on the 10th of February. 

The intelligent beauty queen who hails from  Anambra state has been on top of her academic game from her formative years. She attended Rose Bethel Primary school. Anambra State and further proceeded to Loretto Special Science school, Adazi-Nnukwu, Anambra State. She graduated as one of the best students from Her secondary school; Loretto Special Science school, Adazi-Nnukwu, Anambra with 9 A's (Distinction).

Queen Nneamake whose ambition is to specialize in Artificial Intelligence dabbled into the pageant industry with the emergence as Queen of her University, Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu in Nigeria at age 17 in 2014. The hardworking lady went ahead to win the Miss Coal City Nigeria Beauty Pageant in 2015 at age 18, becoming the reigning MISS COAL CITY NIGERIA till date.

At her convocation ceremony she gave her valedictory speech titled “THE ROMANTIC FACE OF PROGRAMMING“ where she explained her fascination with programming, urging all women to embrace the beauty of programming and computing and to give it a go.

She was awarded tons of prizes by the University for being the Overall best graduating student for the 2017 graduands, Best in her faculty (Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences), Best in her department (Department of Computer and Mathematics) and Best in her program (Computer Science).

In her speech, she thanked the university for the opportunity given to her, her parents, siblings, family, friends and students from her alma matter, Loretto Special Science School who were there present for the convocation ceremony.‎

An interline agreement has been reached between one of Nigeria's leading airlines Dana Air and Asky airline, Africa’s regional power house, in Lagos yesterday.


Dana Air’s strategic route and fleet expansion program also received a major boost, with the signing of an aircraft partnership agreement with the airline to add some new generation aircraft to its fleet

Speaking during a brief signing ceremony at Dana Air’s Corporate Head office in Lagos, the Group Managing Director of Dana Air, Jacky Hathiramani said, ‘we have taken a bold step towards achieving our strategic route and fleet expansion program. With this partnership, we shall be adding some brand new aircraft to our fleet soon.’’

‘We have also had advanced talks with some other notable aircraft manufacturers and very soon, some of aircraft outside the country on maintenance will also be arriving. This is part of our desire to provide options for our guests who have also been requesting us to consider some under-served cities in Nigeria. We want to assure our guests of our commitment towards providing safe, reliable, affordable and world-class air transport services in Nigeria.’’

#TheGreenestLoveofAll campaign is Sahara Group’s first ever photography competition.

According to a statement made availble to us it said on the back of a successful#GoGreenforValentine internal campaign they have embarked on, they are also proud to extend the theme of love to span the rest of February.

"Here at Sahara Group, we believe the greatest love of all begins with the world we inhabit and our concern for her sustainable well-being. Our planet is the cradle of all known lifeforms and the foundation for every human experience conceivable so it feels right to bring our natural environment to the very centre of our February love theme. Why wait until Earth Day April 22, when we should recognize, celebrate and preserve our planet every day of every month?

It also explained that the Instagram photo competition is designed to reinforce the importance of capturing moments that celebrate the people, places and things which best depict the promotion or violation of environmental consciousness and eco-friendly sustainable practices.

The City of Uyo witnessed a spectacular event which stands out on its own and will definitely go down in the annals of history. It was the traditional wedding ceremony between Abuja Based Hospitality practitioner , Mr Omoaefe Ejere‎ and his lovely hearthrob.

The Delta state born Grand Cubana General Manger met his wife Aniekeme Inyang about‎ a year ago. The union was indeed ordained in heaven and this was evident in the apparent show of love and commitment which the couple displayed towards each other on their day. 

In truth,it was beautiful,exciting,thrilling and fun filled on that prestigious day- 15th Febuary in Uyo, Akwa ibom State where Mr ‎Omoaefe‎ officially quits bachalorhood into a blissful matrimony with the woman after his heart. The event can be best described as the wedding of the year as no expense was spared in making it a joyful and memorable day for the couple and their guests. 

The groom looked handsome and dashing in his choice of white lace traditional attire while the bride was looking gorgeous and radiant as ever in her princess white lace and blue scarf with both of them on a colourful blue wrapper. 

Omoaefe‎ with fulfilled mind and a sense of accomplishment thanked all those that found time to grace his occasion especially his boss, executive chairman of Cubana Group of Companies and Klint D Drunk and Victor Osuagwu who spiced up the event with their rib cracking jokes.

Love has many components and every component contributes to the whole. It is not that love should be subdivided into tiny morsels but is more that love goes well beyond simply being around someone else. It involves respect, consideration, going out of your way to do something that is not normally called for or expected, it is those times when you take the other's hand as you walk to the grocery store, or that little hug as you greet new friends. 

It also involves the willingness to compromise, to give in when you really know that it doesn't really matter in the long run, or that you arrange for a special dinner or that you provide the warmth and understanding that is needed at times of frustration, sorrow or pain. 

Sharing and Caring
It is the sharing of all things that indicate that love is about a partnership where no one is better than the other, or more respected than the other. It means that you demonstrate caring not just for the eyes of others when they look but that caring is the way you are just because you care all the time. This expression of love does not wait for love to be offered in like kind nor does it need a particular incident or circumstance to come bursting forth.

The expression of love to another is not reserved for a single day or for a special event or occasion like an anniversary for a birthday. The celebration of love is more about how you live each day with the one you love and care for.

Lagos, Nigeria — Controversy is trailing the disappearance of $100,000 from the coffers of Nigeria's examination board. The exam board alleges that a clerk in Benue State has blamed a snake for swallowing the missing money. The money was supposed to be remitted to the agency.


Fabian Benjamin, spokesman of the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board, told CNN that a staffer confessed to auditors a snake had "swallowed" the missing money. "She confessed that she had the money, kept it in a vault in the office but a snake came and swallowed the money," Benjamin told CNN.
"The staff and others in her category that are found culpable have been suspended and will be handed over to appropriate authorities," he added.

The clerk, identified as Philomena Chiesche, denied the allegations, saying the exam board invented the story about the snake. She also accused the exam board of turning her in to authorities, who she claims still haven't questioned her about the missing funds.

"I did not say any money was swallowed by a snake. Nobody questioned me about that case. I am just a clerk and I serve under directors who are accounting officers. I wonder why they are personalizing the case?" the clerk told CNN.

Social media erupted at the nature of the allegations. A Twitter account has been made for the snake. Nigeria's Economic and Financial Crimes Commission tweeted that the agency's national symbol, the eagle, shows no mercy for "money-swallowing snakes."

The Acting Chairman of the newly registered Justice Must Prevail Party (JMPP), Dr. Olusegun Ijagbemi, has said that the party will fight impunity in the mismanagement of national wealth and assets. He said from 2019, any politician that steals government money will die.

Speaking at the party headquarters in Abuja, he said that, after JMPP must have taken over the government in 2019, natural resources and treasures shall become the ‘’forbidden tree’’, to the people in authority. He said: *“Our nation has established a new covenant with the Almighty through the twelve (12) pillars of Oath of righteousness to kill all violators which is what will establish fear of God upon all the leaders in our nation, and there would be an all-round rest in Nigeria.”* Dr. Ijagbemi said that it works like *"magun"* which Nigerians place on wives to fight adultery, without any chance of remedy.

Ijagbemi said JMPP is a divinely established revolutionary party, with answers delivered by the Almighty to all national problems. He added: *“All JMPP members are expected to be leaders not politicians. He said that politicians pollute the nation with their stolen money to draw the nation backwards while leaders lead with integrity and uprightness to move the nation forward.*

Ijagbemi said JMPP is built on divine revolution, which is devoid of bloodshed. He stressed: *“This kind of revolution has perfect justice and judgement. It shall and must totally wipe out corruption and injustice completely, as well as prevent them from existing anymore in Nigeria*. This is the revolution that JMPP is determined to embark upon throughout the nation. It is a revolution of peace, love, unity, transparency, accountability, growth and development.

“This revolution must involve everyone, from the President to the lowest level of leadership. All shall be involved in the barefooted Oath with all the 12 Pillars of the Oath, which are all connected to the three ordinances that lead to the judgement of death, if violated.

Ijagbemi, the national president of Ikoyi-Obele Development Association (IDA), Ijumu, Kogi State is a former public servant who possesses the attributes of a selfless and responsible leadership. In all his public conducts either as civil servant, community leader and religious leader, Ijagbemi, upheld the principles of honesty, decency, transparency, team work, humility, loyalty, kindness, integrity, diligence, hard work, commitment to the cause of the down trodden, dedication to duty, discipline and total love for educational advancement.

Ijagbemi said: “I also truly realised that God has blessed me with leadership qualities with a well known mantra of turning impossibilities to possibilities. Being the first born of seven children, the Almighty used me to transform the life of my family from extreme poverty to remarkable affluence. “From my younger days, the Almighty endowed me with leadership qualities and consistently trained and tested me in leadership positions throughout my educational, work and church life, presiding over affairs at several stages whenever I find myself, up till date.”

Dr. Ijagbemi, a retired diplomat with stints at the United Nations and African Union, is a gentleman and completely detribalised Nigerian who has cultivated lasting friendship with people of proven character from the length and breadth of the country and beyond. Between December, 1994 to 31st December, 1996 Dr. Ijagbemi was posted to the Nigeria High Commission, Nairobi Kenya as the Consular Officer/Liaison Officer to the United Nations office, Nairobi. Between 1997 to 2003, Dr Ijagbemi held the responsibility being Nigeria’s Focal Point on Terrorism to African Union for managing efficient exchange of information on terrorism. He was instrumental to the design of AU Counter Terrorism data collection instrument and the establishment of Counter Terrorism Research Center in Algiers in 2003.

He is a young man with a towering height who has never hidden the fact that he is at all times ready to identify with the yearnings and aspirations of all Nigerians, this he demonstrated by supporting the educational advancement of those who are not even related to him by offering them scholarships locally and abroad apart from providing educational materials to educational institutions without attaching any reward for the gesture.

An alumnus of Nigeria’s premier university, University of Ibadan, Dr Ijagbemi bagged his first degree in B.sc Hons Geography with second class upper Division in July 1981. His quest for more knowledge took him back to the University of Ibadan for his Master’s degree in Information Science (MInfSc), this he achieved in September, 2001. He later proceeded to the University of Bucharest, Romania where he bagged his PhD in Geography, with a First Class Distinction in 2007.

Dr. Ijagbemi further remarked that everything that is happening now in Nigeria, is for the Almighty’s purpose in 2019. The Standards Organization of Nigeria [SON], yesterday, warns that most domestic hazards associated with electrical and electronic equipment are caused by substandard electrical equipment. 
It also said most of road mishaps in the country are caused when road users purchase and use fake and substandard tyres.

SON consultants, Dr Michael Mlahaga Iorbee of the Department of Vocational and Technical Education, Benue State University, Makurdi, and Engr. Emmanuel Okolo of Michelin Tyre Services Company Ltd, respectively, made this disclosure during the stakeholders’ workshop on Reduction of Substandard Products in Nigeria for South-South zone held at Prof. Eyo Ita House, Calabar, Cross River State capital.

Iorbee, while delivering paper on the topic: Impacts of Substandard Products, Case Study of Electrical Products and Appliances, stated that “electricity is a good servant but a bad master, and can give you all the service, but once a single equipment is substandard it disrupts the whole system.”
“Despite the efforts by the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to ensure that the Nigerian market is free from substandard electrical products, the menace still persists at an alarming rate, and I want Nigerians to beware of this trend,” he lamented.

“Test and close examination of many conductors show that the cables do not conform to the requirements of the Electrical Safety Standard AS/NLS/500. The plastic insulation and sheating becomes brittle within a short period of time and cracks exposing the conducting material and potentially causing electrical shocks, short circuit and fire outbreak.”
Delivering lecture on the topic, Impact of Substandard Products, Case Study of Passenger Vehicle Tyres, the Engr Okolo, revealed that 35 percent of motoring and road accidents in Nigerians are caused by fake and substandard tyres, and went on to educate participants at the workshop on how to differentiate between a genuine and substandard tyre.

In his speech at the event, the Director General of SON, Osita Aboloma, represented by the Regional Coordinator of SON (South South), Mr. Papanye Don Pedro, disclosed that SON has introduced another measure called Product Authentication Mark (PAM) to help bring to the barest minimum the influx and production of substandard goods into the Nigerian market.
He said, “PAM will complement other measures already in place such as Nigerian Quality Mark (NIS), Nigerian Quality Awards (NGA), SONCAP, MANCAP, etc.”

He said the organization’s battle against the menace of substandard products was a never-ending one because those he described as “unscrupulous individuals” kept innovating when it came to manufacturing and importing substandard products.
“Substandard products harm our economy: they close genuine businesses and investments, cripple industries and lead to job losses. They also weaken competitive advantage,” he said.

The state Coordinator of SON, Cross River State, Mr Emmanuel Ogbuji, said SON would soon embark on aggressive clampdown on firms and premises indulging in substandard products in the state.

The Acting Chairman of Justice Must Prevail Party (JMPP), a political association recently registered as a full-fledged political party with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Dr. Olusegun Ijagbemi, has revealed that *when the party takes over the Government across the length and breadth of Nigeria, the people will rejoice.*

Dr. Ijagbemi said that era of impunity in the mismanagement of Nigeria’s national wealth and assets would come to an end in 2019. *He said that from 2019, any politician that steals government money from one naira upwards would die in the hands of the Almighty*. This revolution must involve everyone, from the President to the lowest level of leadership. *All shall be involved in the barefooted Oath with all the Twelve (12) Pillars of the Oath, which are all connected to the three ordinances that lead to the judgement of death, if violated*. He said that *it works like ‘magun’* used in Nigeria to prevent fornication against married women. 

Speaking with journalists at the party Headquarters on Friday 9th February, 2018, Dr Ijagbemi said that, after JMPP must have taken over the government in 2019, all Nigeria’s natural resources and national treasures shall become untouchable to all the people in authority because our nation has established a new covenant with the Almighty through the twelve (12) pillars of Oath of righteousness to kill all violators which is what will establish fear of the Almighty upon all the leaders in our nation, and there would be an all-round rest in Nigeria.

He said that JMPP is a divinely established revolutionary party consisting of Christians and Muslims that fear the Almighty, with answers delivered by the Almighty to all national problems and questions. He said that the Almighty in His mercy showed a vision to a young man, who fears Him from the South East of Nigeria, in the house of his Muslim friend, in Kebbi State the Northern part of the country. *The vision came written in gold: “JMPP”, which was further explained as “JUSTICE MUST PREVAIL PARTY” with instruction to include Christians and Muslims.* The vision directed that JMPP must raise a godly Government which must ensure justice, fear of God, truth, righteousness, peaceful co-existence, and unity that would restore Nigeria back to the original purpose of God, to be the leader-country in Africa. *He said that Nigeria, under JMPP will restore the dignity of all blacks from the pains and shame of corruption, injustice and slavery.*

Other instructions include that the party should raise visionary and righteous leaders who must eschew injustice, inequity and irresponsiveness to ensure fear of Almighty God's discipline, compliance to constitutionalism and enforcement of the rule of law for the promotion of peace, unity and the wellbeing of Nigeria and Nigerians. The party is also to note that corruption separates nations from our Creator. 

He said that JMPP shall use the effective family concept as natural human laboratory to teach Nigerians the national values through formal and informal education. The party's core value is to enthrone democratic and egalitarian society where justice, equity, religious tolerance, peace and unity reign supreme through the instrumentality of effective mentoring, selfless service, altruism, responsiveness, “ethical leadership”, accountability, transparency, dignity of labour, patriotism, industry, nationalism, integrity, hospitality, humility, righteousness, rigor of institutional/systemic compliance to the Oath of Office, the Constitution(s) and the rules of law.
