The reigning Most Beautiful Model In Nigeria Miss Jennifer Obi has reacted over increasing stories of scam in the Modeling industry. She made his known yesterday at a modeling seminar programme held in Bayalsa state

According her, the rate at which young ladies and guys fall victims to this ‎modeling scam is heartbreaking as this has created negative image for the industry. This unpleasant situation then to scare prospective models away from achieving their modeling ambitions. Even most parents are no longer comfortable with any modeling ambition of their children.

" Besides sad stories I hear about modeling scams, a friend of mine recounted recently how she was made to register with an agency that promised and stated all she would benefit but unfortunately she ended spending as their supposed model...No job was given after over 2 years with them”

The Anambra state born beauty Queen ‎advised the models at the event to make much inquiries and check out past records before signing in for any agency as many men use this platform not only to dupe girls but harrass them sexually.

Queen Jennifer Obi's project has been on the campaign against Indecent dress and promoting Nigeria indegenious dress culture, has a written book and shared copies to some higher institutions and modeling agencies across the federation.

Most Beautiful Model In Nigeria contest and African Designers Concert was held June last year at the prestigious Sheraton Hotels Abuja with this 2016 edition to commence in March.

As a way of reaching out to aged ‎to show love and care, the reigning Miss Coal City Nigeria Queen Ugoji Catherinemary Nneamaka over the weekend visited St. Paul's Home To the Elderly in Enugu with gifts and food stuffs

The undergraduate of Godfrey Okoye University embarked on this course as part of her project which deals on Charity.

Speaking to the cordinator, the beauty queen‎ said the Old are still part of the society and very important too as they are not only blessing to humanity but reservoir of knowledge and history. She further stressed on the need for the government to look into the welfare of Old as they give attention to the physically challenged in Nigeria.

Queen Nneamaka also donated ‎cash and some other items like adult pampers, toiletries, beverages, etc‎. She also commended her Director Mr. Darlington Ajaero who she said even though he has been in USA for diaspora projects, he has been instrumental to some of her activities and courtesy visits in Nigeria.

Ghanaian actress and producer Zynnell Zuh recently visited some TV stations in Abuja ahead of the Nigerian premiere of her movie "Anniversary"

The beautiful screen goddess who was in company of her Nigerian publicist Alexreports was warmly received at Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) ‎as she was interviewed as a Celebrity Guest on Entertainment Half Hour and NTA 24 Channels.

Responding to ques‎tions from the presenter Tobechukwu Jideowon, the actress said the Anniversary is a must-watch movie  which will hold the viewers or fans spellbound till the last action. The much anticipated movie according to her is starring A'list stars like Juliet Ibrahim, Gideon Okeke, Ebube Nwagbo‎ and ofcourse herself.

On her other passion aside movie, the ravishingly beautiful actress said "I love music, fashion and movies. I'm not a party animal but I like to hang out with friends when time and work permit...am also in my Law School"

The soft-spoken actress was also received at Abuja's first entertainment station, Peoples Television where she discussed extensively about herself and the movie premiere that is scheduled to hold in Lagos in March.‎ 

From 2010 till date, she has featured in several movies like Adams Apple, Single Six, Wanna Be, Deadline, Haram, Just Married, Seduction, Cheaters Vacation, Scam, Shampaign etc.  Zynell as she is fondly called by friends and close associates, has held the industry spellbound with her acting prowess.

In Ghana today, one actress that has become a crowd magnet and a face to reckon with is Zynell Lydia Zuh, not because she is beautiful but the fact that she is an actress with a different attitude.

Zynnell who‎ has produced award winning movies like "When Love Comes Around" Love Regardless, is Co - producing "Anniversary" with Gregory Onuda this time.

One of Etisalat top shots David Onyeke Ameh over the weekend hosted friends and family to his house in Abuja to celebrate his child's naming ceremony.


It was indeed a moment well spent in wining and dining with prominent Telecommunication personalities. David who we would say ported from  MTN some years ago to Etisalat has risen to the post of Head, Regional Sales North 1 Nigeria‎.

The Ahmadu Bello University graduate who has won several awards and pulled in collosal revenue for the telecommunication giant- Etisalat, marked the arrival and celebration of his third child and only daughter with great joy and‎ excitement. Already with two boys, Mr Ameh named his first daughter Avniel Iganya Ameh.

While speaking to cross section of media houses around, Mrs Joy Onyeka Ameh,the wife thanked all her family members and friends who came‎ to celebrate with them. She further thanked God for granting them this third child which they said they truly desired.

As a diehard sales expert, David Ameh has raked in much revenue for Etisalat, no wonder he is regarded as a young sales executive whose height is yet to be determined.

The soft spoken beauty also buttressed on her first class from University of Brighton in United Kingdom recently. " to get to level or achieve your object you need to work hard and be focussed. You need to avoid distraction so as to take your vision serious"  

Chichi Mbagwu further commended the ex-president Dr. Goodluck Jonathan for his bravery and spirit of sportsmanship in accepting defeat during the last general election. " I was not in Nigeria during the election but I was updated of the process‎ from social media and my mother who was in Nigeria as at the time...as the biggest black nation in the world massive attention was focussed on the outcome of the election which a lot of people felt it would break Nigeria. Jonathan was courageous to give in and accept defeat, placed Nigeria on the crest of Nations that are democratically inclined..I must have to commend President Buhari for his fight against corruption, Nigerians in diaspora were proud of the image and impression the election created for the nation abroad"

The group secretary General Comrade Martins Abebe who presented the award plague  in a conclusion statement, took the entire gathering down memory lane, through the humble background of Pa Arthur Uzoma Okowa, who as a son from a polygamous home, despite the diverse odds against him at the time, still struggled through school and sojourned as a teacher at Akumazi Umuocha, before proceeding to Oza. Pa Okowa didn't stop there, but also taught in many schools in the old Bendel division to the extent of attaining the status of "Adult Education Organiser" in Ika North-East LGA. Furthermore, Pa Okowa, subsequently impacted his knowledge on intending teachers at Onicha Olona Teachers Training College, before piloting the opening of a new teachers College at Owa Oyibo.

Pa Arthur Uzoma Okowa, in his response, said that he feels overwhelmed and his eyes are filled with tears of joy due to this honour done to him. Pa Okowa further said that this award is coming on the heels of a similar award given to him by the Nigerian Union Teachers (NUT) few months back. He lamented at the fallen standard of education in the country today which he attributes to the cancellation of previous teachers training methods, the poor reforms in the education syllabus which has excluded allotted time for vocational\technical training, and the new status of exam malpractice as a socially accepted norm.

The epoch making occasion had in attendance among others,chief S.E otonekwu,the Eribo of Idumusah,comr Ogbe Collins the chairman of the National Association of Nigeria Student(JCC delta axis) Justice Nwatukele.
Pa ARTHUR UZOMA OKOWA is the father of the Executive Governor of Delta State.
