Their presence recently at Sofa Lounge was based on exclusive hosting by the club as more celebrities are expected to always grace the lounge every weekend for their teeming fans to interface and dance with them.

It was a memorable occasion recently in Abuja as the second edition of Face Of Culture in Nigeria took centre stage at the prestigious Sheraton hotels and towers. The culturally oriented event had alot of entertaining display that thrilled the audience at the coronation and award night.

Kogi state born Susan Eniolorunda emerged Face Of Culture In Nigeria 2015 in a keenly contested pageant competition while other winners are Miss Julianah Adinoyi, -Face Of Culture Diaspora, Miss Jennifer Okechukwu -Face Of Culture Africa, Miss Carmelita Akieh - Face Of Culture In Nigeria Ambassador, Miss Edit Mba -FOCIN SouthWest, Miss Anita George _ FOCIN South South, Miss Sophia Chukwudi - FOCIN SouthEast, Miss Chinenye Andrew- FOCIN NorthWEst and Miss Emmanuela Ememe - FOCIN NorthEast

‎It was memorable day for immediate past Miss Imo State Queen, Samantha Ubani as she was honoured at the recent Lagos Fashion Award.

The Imo State University graduate who was very popular during her reign in Imo state and beyond was awarded  Fashion Outstanding Beauty Q‎ueen Of The Year at the colourful and star-studded event held ‎recently.

The light-skinned beauty queen is already preparing for her NYSC this month, though still nursing plans for an international contest. She is expected to make a guest appearance tomorrow at the Miss Nigeria International in Lagos.

The 2015 Nigeria Customer service Awards(NCSA) is scheduled to hold on October 8th at four points by Sheraton Lagos.

The Annual Awards which evaluates the standard of service delivery of companies in 32 sectors of the Nigerian economy, According to the coordinator, Ilias Aliyu, the companies evaluated for the Awards were scrutinized through four criteria's. The first criterion was the Nomination of companies by customers/consumers.

The NCSA website provided the platform for customers to nominate their favorite brands as well as a dedicated short code 20822 was made open on 1st of January, 2015 for nomination in which huge amounts of company nominations were recorded. Company Nomination closed on September 10th 2015.

Secondly, NCSA also collected feed back of customers who stated how the nominated companies had treated them in their desire for superlative experiences. Thirdly, NCSA reviewed the relationship between management and staff of organisations nominated. This review was carried out to ascertain how employees collaborate with management in delivering quality service experiences to customers. lastly, the mystery shopping of nominated companies was carried out.

The Mystery shopping was carried out to identify companies that were more consistent in delivering quality service experiences to customers. The final assessment of companies and report compilation is carried out by seasoned service process consultants. A quality report covering the assessment criteria(nomination, customer feedback, employee evaluation and mystery shopping) of how winners emerged will be made available to winners in each category the top three most nominated companies from different sectors are

Nigerians can now speak up about bad and good service experiences through the Ambassadors. The Ambassadors will seek compensation for bad services meted out to aggrieved customers. The ambassadors above all will work hard to reconciling unhappy customers with defaulting companies. The Ambassadors will also give out a quality service seal to companies that have excelled in service delivery.

The GOOD SERVICE IS HERE (GSIH) seal signifies that quality service is assured in the receiving company. DHL and KONGA.COM place premium value on excellent service delivery and want other companies in Nigeria to follow suit,this is why they have put their weight behind the success of the yearly Nigeria Customer Service Awards.

NCSA encourages companies to go beyond lips service and offer quality services to customers. In celebrating companies that excel in service delivery, NCSA is also calling on Nigerians to attend a summit with the title: "service delivery in the 21st century", which will take place on October 8th at four points by sheraton lagos .

It was indeed an electrifying performance from Abuja based fast rising comedian Chuks D General on Sunday at the MC AMANA -Dis-speakable Me event where he thrilled the audience with his spontaneous rib-cracking jokes.

The Delta state born radio presenter obviously stole the star-studded show with his comical prophetic revelations towards the audience that kept the crowd in laughing mood all through his presentations.

King of Comedian - Ali Baba could not resist the young man's creativity in a high profile show that had the likes of Tuface, Danny Wilson, MC Galaxy, Top politicians and celebrated personalities.

According to Ali " I am very impressed with his spontaneous presentations, you know a great comedian when you hear him crack jokes with situations around him... I am proud of him and I see him going places"

The first historical beach pageant was held recently in Okrika Rivers State where about 30 contestants represented different state at the 2015 Queen Of Peace Nigeria.

Comrade Ateke Tom who is the grand Patron of the pageant championed the hosting of the event at his private beach pulling high profile artists like KCee, Harrysong and others.

The very uniq‎ue event which attracted top personalities, Nollywood stars and showbiz entrepreneurs saw the emergence of 20 year old Patience Okia from Rivers State as Queen Of Peace Nigeria 2015. The Winner who is to represent Nigeria at the Finals of Queen of Peace Africa holding in Namibia in October was also given a brand new car and 1 Million cash prize.

Abuja's popular PR specialist Alex Nwankwo recently buried his father who died months ago. It was indeed a painful sight to behold as ceremony took centre stage at him hometown in Anambra state.

Late Chief Engr. GNC Nwankwo was a known titled man who lived a good life as a crusader of peace. He was an ex- biafrian Soldier and a cabinet member of Eze Igbo Abuja.

 ‎The burial attracted several high chief, traditional rulers including masquerades and other personalities.

The burial service and interment was held at his compound which caused a lot tears and wailing.  ‎He died at the age of 74 years after a brief illness.

‎There was a fire incident yesterday at the popular Jevinik Restaurant, Lagos street in Garki 2, Abuja. Immediate cause of the fire which razed most of the property inside the 2 storey building was not known but the Federal fire service, according to eye witnesses arrived on time. Took them about 4 trucks to contain the flame.

Speaking with the head of marketing Mr victor, he said the fire was likely caused by an electric fault which spread across the building very fast. Another eye witness identified as Papie T who was at the Restaurant ‎said it started with smoke while he was eating before people inside took to their heels.

Mr Elechi Collins, the PRO of ‎Federal Fire service commended his men for the response to the unfortunate incident. He said they were able to put the fire out in less than one hour.
