NCSA 2015: A Promise Kept
The organizers of the Nigeria Customer Service Awards (NCSA) made a bold statement on the importance of excellent customer service with this year’s edition of the award held at Four Point By Sheraton in Lekki area of Lagos this October.

 The event which coincided with this year’s International Customer Service Week was a an assemblage of who’s who in the customer service industry in Nigeria.  

The well-attended award which is in its third year was described by convener, Dr. Ilias Aliyu, a customer service expert and consultant, as “the culmination of an eventful year of planning and resource mobilization”. It had courier giant, DHL and one of Nigeria’s e-commerce platform, Konga.com as sponsors with Mr. Allwell Nwankwo, author of two books on customer service, and Professor S. F. BrIisibe,  a professor of medicine in the Niger Delta University, Bayelsa State, as speakers.



 They both provided key insights into the current state of customer service in Nigeria and suggested ways of improving on it including for organizations to look into customer satisfaction and not just profit making. 

Part of the event’s highlight was the presentation of the seven professionals of different backgrounds as Nigeria Customer Service Ambassadors representing the six geopolitical region of Nigeria and Africa. 

They include Oluwaseun Okegbemiro (South-west), Barr.Anyiam Uju Jessy (South-east), and Engr,Ebenezer Isokariari (JNR) (South-south). Other are Bulus Ladidi Lilian (North-cenral), AbdulAzeez Dikko (North-west) and Nkechi Okoroafor representing Africa. The idea behind the ambassadors according to Aliyu is to give a “boost and face to customer service in Nigeria”

Also at the event the “Mystery Shopping Report” was also launched which contains the technical evaluation of findings from secret investigations of customer service delivery in branches of nominated companies for NCSA 2015 across sectors in Nigeria. Ilias described it as “a high-value report supported with video and data evidence”. 

According to Dr. Ilias “this is in our bid to preserve a truly transparent ratings system, tradition of sharing the details of the nomination and vetting processes, and also promised an improvement towards future events” 

Some of the award winners include  Konga.com as most supportive customer service company in Nigeria, Phase 3 Telecoms as Best Customer Service Network Management Company in Nigeria, Inspiration FM as Best Radio Station in Nigeria and Fortis Microfinance as Best Customer Service Microfinance Bank in Nigeria. 

Others include Globacom as Best Customer Service in Telecom, Diamond Bank as Best Customer Service Bank, Dana Air as Best Customer Service(Local Airline), and DHL as Best Customer Service Courier Company and Wakanow.com as Best in Hotel Booking  and Ticketing,Nairaland Best in online media, Smile was Best Customer Service Company in Internet Service Provision, Aso Savings and Loans PLC is the Best Customer Mortgage Bank Company  in Nigeria 2015, and CHI limited as Best Customer Service (Beverage) company in Nigeria 2015. Also Shoprite was award the Best Customer Service Departmental Store in Nigeria,  while kia is Best in Automobile and Jumia.com, Best in E-Commerce.

According to Ilias the next years edition of NCSA is going to also hold during the International Customer Service week in October.

According to information made available, Mr Churchill who recently got married to controversial Nollywood star Tonto- Dikeh was once entangled in  marriage Web with  ‎Bimbo Coker which lasted for about 5 months. It was disclosed that the brief union was bedeviled with challenges of infidelity and street girl attitude from the estranged wife as she was alleged to be nothing close to a wife material.

 The business mogul from Abeokuta and son of one of Nig‎eria's most influencial personality considered her disposition on unbearable, which prompted him to call a family meeting and also returned back to the church were the wedding was done to dissolve the marriage about 2 years and 7 months ago and both parties went their seperate ways with new relationships.

The attack on social media from the frustrated Bimbo started when Tonto Dikeh posted parts of Mr X body and eventually his ‎full pictures. This singular act angered the ex-wife and she resorted to calling the Nollywood actress names like husband snatcher, evil lady and others while Churchill was refered as ritualist, cocaine dealer, fraudstar etc on Tonto's instagram page just to drag their names to the mud.

 

Alexreports disclosed from inside source that Churchill first m‎et Tonto in a Church in Lagos  after which they became friends but not intimate. In the course of their friendship they discovered themselves after over a year of doing business together as close friends.

Churchill who ‎is the CEO of Big Church Group Limited and Big Church Entertainment hinted that Tonto Dikeh his wife is not what people think she is, though she has a mind of her own. He further stressed that one fact that can not be taken away from her is that she is God fearing and prayerful. It was beautiful and colourful sight to behold has over 5 thousand rotarians, volunteers, celebrities, and guests took a 2km walk from the old parade ground in Abuja yesterday, 24th October to mark the World Polio Day. 
The Rotary District Governor Dr Mike Omotosho who addressed the mammoth crowd thanked everyone who took out time to come and support the event and also those that have been in constant support in the course at eradicating of polio in Nigeria, he noted also that the Nigerian experience had shown that battling polio is not only about vaccinations, but also waging a complex war of logistics and winning over the hearts and minds of the people.

Nigeria has brought the world one major step closer to being polio free.

The event follow later in the evening with the Inter-state Parasoccer Competition.

Rotary Ambassador Sanni Danja who was present at the occasion called on other celebrities in Nigeria to also come out and support this notable course.

Recently the reigning Queen of Aso World 2015, Her Majesty Queen Jessica Anyasi paid a courtesy visit to the Corps Marshall and CEO of Federal Road Safety Corps Mr Boboye Oyeyemi to Present ASO OUTSTANDING AWARD 2015 and Also discuss about her pet project on OPERATION EMBER MONTH CAMPAIGN.

 The project is designed to sensitize the public and drivers on how to obey the traffic rules during this EMBER MONTH period. ‎The project will take place in garages and parks around the country to reduce the rate of accident in Nigeria. 

Her Majesty will also taKe her campaign to schools where she will launch road safety clubs as well as go on radio and TV stations, including using Bill boards to sensitize the society. She was received at the road safety headquarter by Mr A.K Hassan Deputy Corps Marshall in charge of Special Marshall and Partnership, who promise the full support of the Corps for the pet project of the Queen of Aso World 2015. 

The Queen and her entourage were shown round the facilities Of FRSC Head Quarters. The sensitization campaign comes up on Tuesday November 12th 2015 at Jabi Motor Park, Abuja and  other garages around Nigeria‎ follow on a later date.

Beauty Of Africa Queen, Reigning Miss Tourism International - Rita Onyinye Oguebie Received At Ministry Of Culture & Tourism As She Prepares For World Contest.

As the countdown continues to the grand Finale of Miss Tourism International World finals holding in Vietnam this November, the Nigeria representative and delegate, reigning Miss Tourism International, Her Majesty Q‎ueen Rita Onyinye Oguebie is not leaving any stone unturned to ensure she makes her country proud.

The Anambra state born beauty queen who has been making consultations and visitations in preparation for the all important world beauty battle was yesterday received at the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation ‎by Mrs Grace Isu Gekpe, the director of Entertainment and creative service and one of the Ministry's directors

Speaking to the Q‎ueen and her team, the Mrs Isu Gekpe said the ministry are already a partner to the organisation and will give her the necessary support to ensure she projects Nigeria flags at the International contest with a head held high. Though, the permanent secretery was not disposed at the time of the visit but a new date was fixed to host her majesty before the trip.

The 21st edition of Miss Tourism International World finals which is holding at Vietnam will be hosting about 70 contestants from different countries and Q‎ueen Rita is expected to put up an impressive performance at the big international stage.

With the lanky beauty for the visit at the ministry was Mohammed Saad- event manager, AlexReport- the media Publicist of the brand and others. Though the President of Beauty Of Africa International, Mr. Danial Opuene was unavoidably indisposed as he was off for an official assignment. ‎ Rita is to leave Nigeria on the 14th of November.
