WOW!!! Favour Amaechi Foundation Targets 1,000 Girls For Free Distribution Of Sanitary Towels With Road Walk Today

As an effort to alleviate menstrual poverty among the girls child, a non-governmental organisation, Favour Amaechi Foundation has commenced efforts to reach out to 1,000 girls with sanitary pads.

Tagged 'Pad Up A Girl Child' the foundation has set aside December 11, 2021 as a day for road walk to raise awareness on importance of sanitary pad in the health of the girl child.

The road walk against menstrual poverty is expected to commence at 9:am from the main gate of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo State.

It will also feature menstrual education and distribution of feminine products to 1,000 girls.

Founder of the NGO, Favour Amaechi, one of the winners of Face of Democracy Nigeria Beauty Pageant in a chat with newsmen expressed concern over poor hygienic conditions under which the girl child manages her menstrual flow on the account of unavailability of sanitary pads.

This she attributed to increasing cost of the essential sanitary item which according to her is unaffordable to young ladies in the primary and secondary schools.

The 22-year-old Ezinihitte, Mbaise Imo State born graduate of Federal Polytechnic Nekede therefore solicits support towards this project.

According to her, plans are ongoing to set up hygiene dock in targeted primary and secondary schools in Imo to increase access to sanitary pads among the pupils.

Abuja Biggest Skincare Brand, Goldenlitz Organics and Spa marked the end of 2021 with Mega Event.

Matthias Ezeaku Ejiofor On The Run, Declared Wanted Over Defamation Of Prophet Fufeyin's Character

Despite his efforts to help humanity through physical interventions and divine healings which God offers to individuals through him, one Mr. Matthias Ezeaku Ejiofor is on a futile assignment to tarnish the image of a popular man of God, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin.

It is not clear however why Mr. Ezeaku has embarked on such unpopular assignment, there are feelers however that it is borne out of sheer wickedness and desperate attempts to provoke God's anointed one.

Prophet Fufeyin, a man of God with proven anointing has since been appealed by the Christian community globally not to pronounce a course on Mr. Ezeaku.

Mr. Matthias Ezeaku Ejiofor who is currently on the run is wanted for defaming the character of the man of God.

Mr. Ezeaku had in a viral video called Prophet Fufeyin fake pastor with a strong heart, warning him to stop making people believe that he performs miracles.

He accused the cleric of using people who are not sick to create the impression that he performs miracles.

The wanted Mr. Ezeaku had in the defamatory video queried why Prophet Fufeyin gives celebrities money instead of healing them as he claims.

Mr. Ezeaku further claimed that his foundation, Igbos Love Themselves has cured over 5,000 persons who are still alive.

Despite his unverified claims, he has been begging individuals to help him in making video against the cleric since he has remained a lone voice in this journey.

Recall the Prophet Fufeyin a philanthropist has affected the lives of many by giving them cash for various purposes, including medication, business and foreign trips.

Responding to Mr. Ezeaku's allegation, a man who gave his name as Prophet Ojenamuo Ojenamadu took a swipe at him, calling him an anti Christ.

He insisted that Prophet Fufeyin has demonstrated that he is a man of God who has God's anointing.

Prophet Ojenamuo Ojenamadu further showed a clip where one Ms Ejika Blessing Ubi, a student of Biotechnology Department of Ebonyi State University claimed that she was cured of sickness which had all parts of her body rotten by Prophet Fufeyin.

She said before she came to Mercy City, she could not do things on her own before God used Prophet Fufeyin to heal her there.

She had also come back for a testimony where the man of God gave her the sum of N300,000.

A popular actress, Chinwe Owoh also attested to what God has been using Prophet Fufeyin to accomplish, describing him as a gift to mankind.

She further took a swipe at Mr. Ezeaku, describing him as insane for calling the cleric 'fake'.

A Nigerian-American medical doctor, Princess Dr. Mercy Uwakwe has called for the arrest of everyone that has a hand in the incident that led to the death of Sylvester Oromoni, a student of Dowen College Lagos, including members of the management.

Princess Uwakwe, an Abia born philanthropist was reacting to the shutting down of the school by Lagos state government.

On a social media post on Saturday she accused the management of the school of concealing necessary information before young Mr. Oromoni later died.

She said, "Dear Lagos State Government,
"Now Dowen College is in indefinite shutdown, I request all parties involved in the incidents that led to the death of late Sylvester Oromoni be arrested. This includes the school management of Dowen College who concealed the necessary information & details on young Sylvester's demise."

The 12-year-old student of Dowen College, Lagos was said to have died from the injuries he sustained from being bullied in the school by other students.

Family and friends of late Sylvester Oromoni on Saturday celebrated his first posthumous birthday.

Late Sylvester Oromoni, who was in JSS 2, was also allegedly forced to drink a substance by his fellow students. He died on Tuesday.

However, reacting to his birthday, his father said: “We will celebrate his birthday on the 4th of December (Saturday). Please, tell Nigerians to join us”.

"Review Of Nigeria Fire Safety Policy Will Advance Economic Development" - CG Liman


Controller General, Federal Fire Service Dr. Alhaji Liman, has expressed urgency to review the Operational Standard and Procedure of the National Fire Safety Code currently in operation by the service. Stating that the current document is obsolete and not in tune with global practice.

Liman, stated this, on Wednesday while addressing participants at a -3-day Convention retreat on the review of Nigeria’s fire policy in Minna, Niger state.
He stressed the need for States and the Federal Government to understand their roles and obligations in the business of fire safety enforcement and compliance.
While highlighting that the review of the said document will engender development of Nigeria’s economy.

The CG hinted that the Service had existed without a fire policy plan which was highly unprofessional, hence the need for the establishment and review of the obsolete document.

“In the absence of a fire policy the FG, State and everyone could be seen as just doing what they feel like doing without knowing if we are being professional or not” He added.

Adding that States must know their role and this policy review will enable them to be guided during enforcement,” he said.

He further stressed that the convention was aimed at reviewing the nation’s fire safety code, standard operating procedure, rules and regulations on disciplinary act.

He said that some of the adjustments in the documents will help improve the level of discipline of officers in the Service thereby increasing productivity.

He also said some aspect of the document under review when concluded will strengthen enforcement and penalty for defaulters of the national fire safety code.

Liman who appreciated the presence of some retired senior officers of the Service who are part of the review committee told them that they are part of the review because he acknowledged their knowledge, expertise and unquantifiable experience which can not be left untapped.

The Controller General in his closing remarks hinted that a final draft of the reviewed documents will be scrutinized by a five man committee in Abuja before final submission to the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
