Jennifer Ephraim Foundation Flags-Off 500 Widows Feeding Project As Founder Marks Birthday Today

The "Feeding Nigeria Widows: 500 At A Time", outreach, was flagged off yesterday, the 22nd of August 2020 by Jennifer Ephraim's Foundation ahead of the Founder's birthday today.

During the "Feeding Nigeria Widows" Project, the Team of Jennifer Ephraim's Foundation visited IDP camps and distributed lots of food items and relief materials to widows, ageing population and challenged persons. As the Governorship Elections in Ondo state draws close, the ruling All Progressive Congress has constituted the National Campaign Council for the election and has appointed formidable Partisans who will lead the party to victory in the forthcoming elections scheduled for the 10th of October 2020. Few days ago, the Federal Capital Territory Administration-FCTA has demolished over 134 houses in Apo Akpmajenya Community to allow for the construction of a major road network in the area. Many Residents has lamented over the demolition as it has left many homeless, especially as properties worth over millions where destroyed.

Residents have continue to lament on the hopeless conditions they are faced with, especially with the recent Covid19 lockdown. Some Residents of Apo Akpmajenya Community told our Reporters that the Administration of FCTA did not notify them before the demolition exercise, as they had to scamper around not knowing where to go with their families and properties, some of which are destroyed.

The demolition exercise was coordinated by the Chairman, FCT Ministerial Task Force on City Sanitation, Mr Ikharo Attah. Speaking on behalf of the Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, he noted that the activity is desirous of safeguarding the fidelity of the Abuja Master Plan. Ikharo stated that the Administration satisfied all the requirements of the law before carrying out the exercise.

Deputy Director, Planning and Resettlement in the Department of Resettlement and Compensation, Malam Nasir Suleiman, disclosed that 131 houses and 169 plots were given for compensation to the members of the affected Akpmajenya indigenous community, which was inline with legal considerations before the demolition.

Prince Ishola Foundation Earmarks N500Million To Fund Education For Orphans, Less Previledged In Nigeria


A non governmental organisation in Nigeria has launched an educational scholarship scheme to support the academic attainments of orphans and underprivileged children across Nigeria. The Scholarship Scheme was launched by Prince Ishola Foundation during its humanitarian visit to HOPE TO SURVIVAL ORPHANAGE at Gishiri, Abuja, few yesterday.

During the visit and reach-out exercise to the Orphanage Home, Prince Ishola, the Founder and President of Prince Ishola Foundation, Prince Ishola Abiodun Olatunbosun officially Unveiled the Prince Ishola Foundation Scholarship Scheme as he earmarked 500million naira to Fund the educational requirements for Orphans and less privileged children across Nigeria.

Prince Ishola Foundation distributed lots of relief materials including books, academic material, food stuffs and other aides to support the Orphanage home, giving children hope and a sense of belonging. Speaking during the visit, Prince Ishola Abiodun assured the kids that they won't be forgotten and that he would do everything possible to continually invest in the educational needs of underprivileged children in Nigeria.
