One of the innovative and delightful Beauty Queens in Nigeria, Her Majesty Queen Ayo Michealson has been decorated with the "Most Outstanding Pageant Queen of the Year". She received the distinguished Award during the recently held Democracy Heroes Award at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja on the 16th of October, 2019.

During an interaction with our correspondent, Queen Ayo expressed appreciation and gratitude to Democracy Heroes Award, noting that the recognition and honour would rreinforce her interest to remain undauntedly focused on promoting pageantry and role modelling for younger generations.

In a post via her Instagram handle, The 2018 Face of Democracy Queen thanked Face of Democracy Nigeria Organization and its organisers, King Fajag and Vivian Lam. She thanked the both of them for giving her the platform to establish her relevance and impacts in the society, thereby extending her iconic role in encouraging youths in the right part through doing the right things.

Queen Ayobami Ewaoluwa Michaelson won the 2018/2019 Face of Democracy Nigeria Pageant and since then, she has continue to engage timely and proactive developmental projects that has plausibly enhanced the nations' growth.

Queen Ayo has embarked on quite a number of projects including the recent project with FIRS, which recorded the publishing of a book on taxation called "11 wonders of Taxation". We also did a couple of outreach programs for orphans, homeless persons and IDPs. In furtherance of her awareness programs, she also gave some lectures on the importance of Democracy and good governance. It also included a lecture on skill acquisition program on female youth empowerment.

Queen Ayo is currently working on a project called the "back to school" initiative with the first lady of kwara state Mrs. Olufolake Abdulrazaq, Kogi state first lady Mrs. Rashida Bello and the FCT minister of state Mrs. Ramattu Tijjani Aliyu, to provide essential educational materials to students in rural areas.

Young Udokwu Adiamond Speaks On Her Motivation As Nigeria- Africa Award Winning Model (Photos)


Anambra-born award winning Model and fashionista Ms. Udokwu Adiamond shares her experience and motivation in the modeling industry. She spoke with Abujapress during an exclusive interview yesterday. According to Udokwu who is currently under the management of Royalty Models Connect, she told journalists that she had never dreamt of becoming of Model, but fortunately the industry has been quite interesting and resourceful.

Haven joined modelling in 2017 via a Facebook advert, her grace and pace in the industry has remained luminated and quite sporadic. She noted that her interests in modelling increased when she took up a jobs and contracts for modelling agencies who used her for facial shoot, photo shoots, run-way displays and other modeling-related activities.

In 2019, early this year, Ms. Adiamond was decorated as the Most Fashionable Model of the Year at the South Eastern Fashion Show and Awards(SEFSA) held in Nigeria. She has worked with top rated modelling labels and brands which includes Zarah Model, RMC and other reknowned modeling agency across Nigeria.

The young, vibrant and prospective role model is keen at encouraging young girls, through her motivational engagements that will inspire them to be determined, courageous, persistent, enthusiatic and most profoundly dedicated to self-believe without giving up.

In her concluding words, Udokwu Adiamond also encouraged youngsters , especially girls to be creative and ensure to make the best out of any situation and experience they are faced with, noting that our plans may be different from what destiny holds for us in the future. She says, "our plans don't work the way its planned in life, but we have to stay focussed no matter. I actually thought I was going to become something else in life, but thank God for everything and he is the major reason I am into this today".

Soccer Stars Project Confirms 22 Grassroot Players From Akwa Ibom, Set For Abuja Screening (Photos/Video)

The ongoing Soccer Stars Project for the scouting of soccer talents in Nigeria has continued to identify several talents across states in Nigeria. In Akwa Ibom State, the 60goals Soccer Star Project held a 3day scouting and screening exercise, which commenced 7th to 9th of October, under the supervision of Ukraine National Team Coach, Oleg Dzuiba.

The 3days exercise witnessed the overwhelming turnout of soccer talents who participated in the screening exercise. On day one(1), 320 football player participated, but 22players who performed outstandingly well were selected, on day two(2) 532 soccer talents participated, and 24 was selected.

But on day three(3), which was the final screening of those who have already been shortlisted on day 1and2, 22players finally made the list of the 60goals soccer stars project, who will sponsor and promoted across international clubs in the world.

The exercise was well conducted and the players appreciated 60Goals soccer stars project representative for considering Akwa Ibom state as a hub to identify and scout for soccer talents. Noting that even though some of them were not selected, they are still quite thankful because at least about 22 of them had already been shortlisted to join other reknowned world stars across the world.

Some of the institutions and personalities that assisted the successful hosting of the 3days exercise in Akwa Ibom state are Hon. Nse Essien and the management and staff of Ibom Hotel who supported in resources and other gestures to the success of the project in the state. The National Coordinator and Fifa Intermidiary agent, Ms Jane Ndubuisi thanked the host Hon. Nse Essien and specially Coach Oleg Dzuiba, for their suportive and supervisory contributions in helping to improve soccer talents in Nigeria.

Ahead of the 5th state screening exercise scheduled to hold in Abuja at Area 3 football pitch on Wednesday 23rd to Friday 25th October, 2019 by 12:00 noon, 60Goals soccer Stars Project with Ned Nwoko has invited experienced international coach
Guazzoli Gianfranco from Italy to Join the screening coaches to select the best grassroot talents that will commence camping with other selected players across the 5 states where the screening held.

Though some players from other states screening by soccer stars project had already confirmed deals from international clubs enhanced by foreign partnerships across clubs in Europe.
