keystone123: Well, mr 19naia. I know you have travel far and near. But I am very sure on want I am saying about what I said in my previous post that seychelles is expensive. take a look at how much they charge for their so call work permit or GOP or something. Is on the higher side compare to other countries. Also take a look at being living there for years or married their citizen they will not give that person their citizenship or issue out their citizen to anyone on that regards. Not like other countries.that what make me to say they are have a very strict law.@ keystone you are right. Seychelles have a very strict immigration law regarding permanent residence or citizenship.Getting married to them is not a guarantee irrespective of no of years you stay there. It depends on several factor top among them are your contribution to the country in terms of service you render as a professional, your contribution to the economy as regards investment and 'connections' @ op Yes to the best of my knowledge employer applied for GOP on your behalf. You do nt really need to speak or understand french to work and reside in Seychelles. If you do it will be to your advantage you will easily understand the creole language. |
@ op your prospective employer apply for gainful occupation permit on your behalf, that is private company or institution. If employed by the Seychelles government you will get exemption on arrival to cover the duration of your contract with the government. I dont really know much about marine biology but will ask someone who presently work with their transport corporation, he was in the marine industry before changing job. |
@ op if I may ask what is your profession? and what do you intend to do in Seychelles. May be I can give you some info regarding your profession and job prospect in Seychelles on this forum. |
toluene12: Most likely a case of hemophiliac, a bleeding disorder that affects mainly the male gender. Parents first notice this bleeding problem after circumcision when the bleeding fails to stop despite conventional hemostatic methods. It could also be a case of late heamorrhagic disease of the newborn. This is why this procedures are best done in designated centers and not at home. |
You dont need any agent. Emirate Airline or Ethihad Airways can serve as your sponsor. You can submit visa application through either of them. If you meet the requirements you will surely get it. For ethihad go to this site https://www.ttsuaevisas.com click on or select the country where you are applying from. It will take you to the page where you will get the necessary information on online and paper applications. For emirate check this http://www.emirates.com/sc/english/plan_book/essential_information/visa_passport_information/uae_visas.aspx With ethihad you enter UAE through Abu dhabi and the airline takes you to dubai by bus, No charges for the ride. while you enter UAE through dubai if you get the visa through emirates. I think getting the visa through etihad is much easier. |
Yes no visa processing wahala. No huzzling in Seychelles if there is any word like it. If you are a professional in medical field, building engineering, quantity survey, teacher or educationist or have experience in hospitality or hotel services, Seychelles could be use as a starting point to package yourselves for the future. Food science and tech? may be you can get something in the hotel industry? dont ask me how to get this because I dont have info on that. |
kolemm: I will like to relocate to Seychelles. Please do you have any information on living and working there?why do you want to relocate to Seychelles and not any other country? what is your profession? |
I got this nice write up from face book and decided to share it on this forum. For the first 13 years of his mission, the Prophet Muhammad & his followers were exposed to demeaning abuse, mockery & torture on a daily basis in Mecca. Not only did he resist violence, he did not even return an insult with another insult. At one point in Mecca, his enemies twisted his name to call him 'Mudhammam' (The Loathsome) instead of 'Muhammad' which deeply offended his followers. But the Prophet calmly comforted them by stating, "Doesn't it astonish you how God protects me from the Quraish's abusing & cursing? They abuse Mudhammam & curse Mudhammam while I am Muhammad." [Source: Bukhari] On Tuesday, September 11, extremists in Libya & Egypt reacted to an obscure film which attempts to insult the Prophet Muhammad with profane inaccuracies. But their reaction, which included vandalism & the murder of innocent civilians, completely contradicts the character & message of our beloved Prophet. In a famous Islamic tradition, he stated: "It is not allowed to cause harm to others nor to return harm for harm." The Quran teaches us that we cannot blame or punish a person for the crime of another & instructs believers to "disagree with them in the most courteous way." CelebrateMercy Founder Tarek El-Messidi stated, "When lies are spread about our Prophet, we simply respond with the truth. And the most effective response is to embody his merciful character on a daily basis. Violence & vandalism carried out in his name are more offensive than the content of any film. The Quran tells us that the Prophet is praised by God & His Angels; even a million films cannot threaten his status as the Best of all Creation nor his love in our hearts." |
@ Moderator pls change the thread on the front page to reflect the result. Thank You. |
Just wondering any difference between 080ict.com and israel ben-zion comments |
Just recently I clicked on a thread from the front page and found myself under Islam for muslims sections, I thought there should also be christainity for christian section, I later realised there is none. I think they should have their own section too. if the atheists also want theirs, give it to them and the equation will be balanced ![]() |
I felt bad when I heard on aljazeera about boko haram attack in Bauchi, I was wondering why? Nigeria again and bad news! not knowing another tragedy will soon follow. May the soul of the departed rest in peace! What is happening in your country? I am tired of answering this question at my work place. God help us as we help ourselves. |
ayobams: I stopped over to have a drink very close to my house. As I was packing, my wife drove by and had this funny look on her face and went off. When I got home she asked me who I was going to her house? I didn't get it because it was a bar I was going to. She insisted that she saw me park and noticed I was looking at a woman who was driving into her compound who her kids came to open the gate for. It was then that I remembered that I saw one car and a woman in the car horning by her gate. I was not even near her nor was I even looking at her. I thought it was a joke until she flared up. I wondered. If I was with a girl would it be the woman who was just entering into her house opposite the bar? She claimed she saw me enter the house with the womann that was when I got pissed threw the food away. If she said she didn't like me drinking at the bar that's one thing. Why would you accuse me of entering with one random woman who was just entering her house. I was really angry and sad. I just couldn't imagine why she acted like that or what can you say? Honest response please@ ayobams I understands how you feel, Just take it easy with her but let her realise you will not accept such wrong accusation from her. I think you deserve an apology from her. Beside this thread is about first bank and name changing. why not open another thread for your situation. |
sucezTP: Seriously, dey have no human feelings! Wat will it take dem to take care n save pple's lyf even wen d govt has refused to play dia own roles..many pple died in dis course! N mere lookin @ dis strike issue, most of d doctors have dia private hospitals elsewia. Well, mayb we shldn't blame dem!Are u sure of this? How many Drs do you know in public service? what percentage of them owns a private hospital? Dont say what you dont know! |
Peterwins: I am really disappointed with the government of Lagos State led by Fashola a SAN!!!. You cannot handle labour issues with medical doctors as if you were in a courtroom or perhaps negotiating with touts. Sacking doctors as if you were sacking bank workers in former intercontinental bank and oceanic bank. I am not a medical doctor but I hold their profession in high esteem. Their profession and industry do not deserve unnecessary contentions such as these. You can take their job from them but you cannot take their highly sought out profession from them. Only a lazy or quack doctor will feel threatened by a sack by any employer. Pls tell them! You can say that again and again. |
dipo1234: PDP's constant criticism forced the emperor to order Fashola to reverse himself....proving that the real governor of Lagos State is Bola Tinubu...Fashola is just a houseboy............Eko Oni Baje Ju Bayi looooooooooooHouseboy or House officer ![]() |
The public is the loser, keep on supporting the govt blindly. I know an experience medical officer who worked in one of the busiest LASG hospital for 6 years, the best of his colleagues so to say in that hospital. The guy will be resumin today in another job with better working condition. some of the cosultants, Medical officer would have seek employment elsewhere within and outside the country. Who is the looser? Who is fooling who? |
Raymondenyi: Y re some of u writing so senseless n immature, look a Dr can nvr b jobless, ther is always an open arm waiting 2 receive dem somwhere,I tot fashola was an intelligent boy till ds incident I got 2 knw his just like evry black fool! N thinkin U recalling d Dr will end d strike it 'll b foolish becos d strike continues till he addresses d conmess salary issue.n I wanna assure U all, lagos govt will nvr recover 4rm dis health doldrums it has kept itself even in d nxt 10yrs cus some of dose Dr have already left d stupid states 2 elsewhere n U wuldn't knw wat getting a Dr 4 a job means till u tryLagos is being ruled by a BOY ![]() Black Fool ![]() |

CONFUSION IN NAIJA! |
http://tribune.com.ng/index.php/editorial/41538-still-on-the-lagos-doctors-strike THE Lagos State government must realise that the doctors in Lagos state are subject to intense pressure of work given the metropolitan and densely populated character of the state. Besides, the government’s free medical care programme has deepened pressure on the doctors. The government must therefore be willing and committed to improving the conditions of work of the doctors. This is essential to the success of its health policy. The response of the private medical practitioners in giving free medical treatment to government patients nullifies the argument that doctors want to profiteer from the strike by diverting patients to their private practice centers. enough Ordinary Lagosians have suffered as a result of the strike. The government must be sensitive to their sufferings. High handed and patrimonial approach to industrial relations did not work under the military. It will not work now. Indeed, it is unacceptable. The Lagos State government should not be an example in industrial dictatorship. |
Na wa o! you pay to sit for exam and pay to check result of thesame exam! This is mass exploitation. |
texazzpete: To Fashola, the doctors are not indispensable. he can easily afford to send his family overseas to treatment. So Hard for them to understand! "ordinary lagosians" will be the looser. |
REDs house: Why cant nupeng begs gej to accommodate the sacked doctors into federal hospitals so that they can earn what their fed counterpart are earning rather than creating issues with a state government. texazzpete: And leave you alone to treat all the Lagos state medical cases? Awesome! You're such a beacon of common sense and logic /swell said! |
