In addition, I find this really interesting based on the subject matter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaNKitqpUn0?si=rD7-ZVcPDlPvJIuH A lot of shit is going on around us and our leaders will sell us out so cheaply. |
skywalker240:Your question is an interesting one that has got me thinking for days now. |
RepoMan007:Do we trade quantity over quality or vice versa? Shouldn't we consider the health risk involved? |
The rising cost of food produce as a result of several factors, such as insecurity, climate change, the cost of transportation, fertilizers, and the availability of healthy seedling to plant, calls for immediate intervention. Being raised by a father who practiced subsistence farming and vowed never to use fertilizers on his farm for the fear of cancer and other health related issues made me develop fear of chemicalized farming. I know we buy a lot of food stuff in the market without knowing how they were cultivated but I won't apply chemicals to the ones I plant myself to avoid make wetin I know kill me. However, considering the cost of food and the ever-rising population is another concern as we seem to consume much more that what we produce. Then the use of GMO crops comes to mind but with mixed feelings and reactions. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2024/06/suspend-gmo-initiative-in-nigeria-afan-ngo-smallholder-farmers-urges-fg/?utm_medium=notify&utm_source=browsernotice To the farmers in the house, what's your take on this: GMO or natural food production? |
Abbeyme:And what if the "thief" had killed in the process? |
kingxsamz:Wereke, "devil bean" can be a cost effective alternative to beans. but when e begin scratch you for body even mad man go see you say you dey craze. |
She said home farming would also help people allay the fears of attack by herdsmen by deserting the farms which led to high cost of foods. So, instead of the useless government to clear the forest of these miscreants and protect the people on their farms. They allowed the urchins take over the forest, denied the people of protection they promised during elections, and resorted to this sham? Gardening is NOT Farming. |
Nukilia:Op has never Oked sex for a 13 year old na. Why you dey accuse am or na em marry as a pedophile? Take it easy. Those men are rapists and use money to overturn laws to suit their aimless dicks. However, a 17 year old is still a child. |
All this for what? A 17 year old with a Ph.D is still a child for all I care. |
These things wey them thief e no dey finish? |
LordIsaac:I'm just wondering how when started sharing hands again with thw whole Covid-19 drama. |
FODA:You don't have be bitter against the igbo, but for them thirst for don kill you for traffic. They are solving problems you can't solve. Your submission here shows you dont know your history you would have read that their offense that caused the biafran war was because they made the move to go and Nigeria fought back to keep them so they can keep milking them as we can't do without them. Read well |
In a country where production is encourage? I can't count how many businesses in my area has been shut down due to the rip off from PHCN that has been charging the people exorbitant for light we don't see, causing the people to go look for cleaner jobs with meagre salaries that can't take them home. Are we still saying the devil is not one of us? And the are busy building prisons to jail the children of commoners who leverage the evil the government has done to survive by hook or by crook. May God reward them and their families according for turning commoners in monsters and beasts. My their evil not forget to consume them. |

What we need in this country at the moment is not roads but railway lines to cushion the effect of the economic hardship. It's not a beef or whatever, this is a misplacement of priority if you ask me. Railway lines will help reduce the cost of transporting goods and services across the country, thereby reducing the cost of the items. |

What will happen to the increased school fees? |
The idiot should be arrested. It is his money that was used to buy it in the first place or it's taxpayers' money? So, if he had won he'd have just collected the money for the transformer the people thought was free. Iranu |
Na because men listen to women na why them fail o. If them allow women take over then e don end be that. |

This is the season of agbado and corn, na cassava and beans to share. Something wey na family and party members alone go share I'm ashamed of the tribal idiots that brought this disaster on us. I hope you have succeeded in dealing with the "Igbos" now? You will not go unpunished. Make sure you collect your share of the agbado... Awon oniranu. |
We are demons we cast, bind, and pray against. |
This is highly commendable for the display of wisdom. I just hope it will be rightly implemented and supervised my the governor himself as Nigerians are the devil we pray against. This is a move in the right direction. At the same time, the governor should encourage local production of consumer goods as it's the only thing that can bring us at par with other world economies. |
One major issue the govt should also look into the housing. How will someone increase the rent of a house built over 6 years ago with reasons that the cost of materials and maintenance is high. Which maintenance, when was the last time such was done? Even if it was, what's the rent previously paid used for? Nigerians are the devil we cast and bind |
Let them regulate the prices of food and other commodity that's killing Nigerians first. |
This is a barbaric act that is highly condemnable. However, I am not in support of self defense. Instead, I'd recommend NYSC be modified into a security and agricultural program. The youths should be trained on security measures and modern agricultural practices instead of sending them to schools and wasting their time for one year. The penalty for kidnapping and rape cases should be outright public execution of the bastards |
